Warzone 2 players are desperate for the devs to make changes to the Buy Station spawn locations, as they feel it needs to be “more consistent.”

Warzone 2 Season 1 Reloaded brought a lot of change to the battle royale game when it first landed, but after player complaints, the devs started to backpedal and take the community’s criticism into consideration.

This caused changes such as Loadout Drops being listed in Buy Stations so that players could purchase their Loadouts rather than wait for an event or raid a Stronghold. On the topic of Buy Stations in Warzone 2, the devs also reduced, then increased the amount on the map, while also changing the way in which they spawn in on Al Mazrah.

Previously, Buy Stations would spawn in the same location each game, but the devs decided to change this and introduce a randomized spawning system, and players don’t seem too happy with it.

Reddit user hrz12 highlighted the issue in the Warzone subreddit, along with an image showing a match where four Buy Stations spawned within very close proximity of each other, leaving “half of the map” with “barely one Buy Station.”

Clearly the OP feels that Buy Stations should be more spread out on the map, saying that they “shouldn’t be this close to each other.”

They aren’t the only ones who think this either, as another comment reads “3000 devs and not one of them could write a decent algorithm for spawning shops in a more consistent fashion.”

Some even preferred the previous system where Buy Stations spawned in the same spot each game, feeling as though it “reduced buy station camping” as there were “more options.”

We’ll have to wait and see if anything changes in the future, as with Season 2 inbound, the devs could be cooking up some tweaks.
