Warzone 2 players want changes to “obnoxious” Killstreaks
The Warzone 2 community is frustrated with the current state of Killstreaks in the games, and players are calling for changes that will make Killstreaks less “obnoxious.”
Using Killstreaks is a great way to turn the tide of battle during Warzone 2 matches, and the Precision Airstrike is a deadly Killstreak that you can collect from supply chests and Strongholds.
This Killstreak calls in twin jets to start raining down fire on your enemies from above. While this is a great way to give yourself an advantage in combat, Warzone 2 players feel that it’s ruining matches.
Reddit user ‘MadDog_8762’ expressed their frustration with the state of Killstreaks in the Warzone 2 subreddit, claiming that there is an overabundance of Precision Airstrikes during matches.
They explained: “Just now, had a match where I had six Airstrikes called on me (as I moved to different positions) all within the span of one minute. That just seems a bit obnoxious honestly. I’d love to see more variety in Killstreaks, or at least make them much rarer.”
In the comments, one user explained: “I just finished a game where I killed a player at the base of Observatory and he had three Airstrikes in his backpack + mortars.” They then called for the developers to restrict players to one Killstreak at a time.
This was a sentiment shared by many other players in the thread, and one of them stated: “I think having [one] Killstreak per player would make things better.” While using powerful weapons and Perks can help you greatly in battles, you may end up losing anyway if you’re repeatedly targeted by Killstreaks.
Another player commented that the Precision Airstrike Killstreak is the “most completely game-changing single item in the game” before adding that it would be better if the developers keep players from holding so many.
At the time of writing, it remains to be seen if the Warzone 2 developers are planning to respond to these complaints by limiting the number of Killstreaks that players can use in the game.
