Warzone 2 Season 3 brings highly requested Buy Station changes
ActivisionThe Warzone 2 Season 3 update has brought a plethora of new content to the Call of Duty title, including some highly requested changes to Buy Stations that you can visit on the map.
Seasonal updates give developers the perfect opportunity to bring major changes to games, and Season 3 of Warzone 2 is no exception. The update features new Operators, one-shot Sniper Rifles, and Intervention.
Warzone 2 Season 3 will also bring major changes to improve the gameplay experience, including a few updates to Buy Stations meant to make it easier for players to access them without being put at a serious disadvantage.
The Warzone 2 community previously complained about how having fewer Buy Stations on the map leads to more players will battling over them. Now, this issue has been addressed by the developers.
In an official blog post, the devs confirmed that there will be “more Buy Stations across Battle Royale overall.” They also reassured players that Buy Stations will spawn at safer spots “such as indoor locations or places with nearby cover.”
Deployable Buy Stations will also be making their return in Season 3, and these are portable versions of regular Buy Stations. These won’t be arriving with Season 3 launch and will be added later “in-season.”
It’s possible that the return of Deployable Buy Stations is being saved for the mid-season update. These come in handy when you need to purchase items but can’t find a Buy Station nearby.
Buy Stations serve an important role in Warzone 2 matches, proving players with the means to stock up on items that are necessary for their survival. These changes should make them safer to use in Warzone 2 Season 3.
