Warzone 2 to receive more lootable cash & Buy Station price balance in Season 2
The Warzone 2 devs confirmed that the battle royale’s economy is set to receive a drastic change with more lootable cash and balanced buy station prices in Season 2.
The growing discontent for Warzone 2 since its launch has led to the devs committing to a number of drastic changes planned for the Season 2 update. In order to properly roll out these fundamental changes, the Season 2 update was delayed from February 1 to February 15.
While the update is still a few weeks away, the devs have started to tease some of the changes that Warzone 2 players could expect. They already revealed that major changes would alter the Gulag and looting experience, but that’s not all.
Warzone 2 Season 2 cash increase & price decrease
Warzone 2 Season 2 players can also expect a change in the game’s economy. On January 23, the devs revealed that “there’s now more lootable cash available in Battle Royale and prices are getting balanced to give you more bang for your buck.”
The two-pronged change should stabilize the Warzone 2 economy. Not only will players have an easier time accumulating cash, but the value of that cash will increase due to prices decreasing at buy stations.
Up until this point, players have had a difficult time gathering cash in Warzone 2. Many were forced to visit secret loot locations and hidden caches to accumulate enough money.
The devs previously altered the cost of Loadout Weapons with a drastic decrease that made it easier for players to get their hands on their favorite weapons.
While more cash and lower buy station prices should please players, there have also been calls to limit the number of Self Revives and Killstreaks that players can purchase.
It’ll be interesting to see how the devs will balance this Warzone 2 economy change with a decrease in Self Revive and Killstreak frequency that players have been demanding.
