Warzone 2 update brings highly requested Buy Station and Loadout Drop changes
Warzone 2 players were disappointed to find fewer Buy Stations in Season 1 Reloaded, and a new update has now brought major Buy Station and Loadout Drop changes.
The Season 1 Reloaded update brought numerous changes to Warzone 2, including weapon buffs and nerfs along with new content like the Warzone Cup LTM and Chimera Assault Rifle.
However, players noticed that there were fewer Buy Stations on the map after this update and were furious. This didn’t escape the attention of the developers who have reassured players that this won’t be a problem anymore.
On December 15, Raven Software announced on Twitter that they’re aware of the Season 1 Reloaded update reducing the number of Buy Stations on Al Mazrah. Now, a new update has been launched to fix this issue.
Raven Software tweeted: “Yesterday’s Warzone 2 update reduced the number of Buy Stations across Al Mazrah. A new update is now live that has doubled the average number of Buy Stations per match.”
Many were concerned that the few Buy Stations on the map would turn into popular camping spots because of their scarcity in Season 1 Reloaded. They grant you the opportunity to purchase items that can turn the tide of the match, so this update is reassuring.
That’s not the only new change in the game as Raven Software also added that following this new Warzone 2 update, the Loadout Drop public event will occur during the second circle, which is one circle earlier than before.
These changes were received well by the Warzone 2 community, including content creator OpTic Teep who tweeted: “Thank you!!! Needed this.” FaZe Swagg and other players also approved by replying with “W” or “win” in the thread.
