Warzone Akimbo Pistol loadout is destroying players in close quarters
A newly discovered fully automatic Vanguard Pistol is wreaking havoc across Warzone Pacific at the moment thanks to the infamous Akimbo perk.
Shotguns aren’t the only close-quarter weapons that are currently dominating Warzone Pacific as the 1911 Pistol from Vanguard is becoming an increasingly popular option. Thanks to a couple of key attachments, the 1911 can transform into fully automatic Akimbo Pistols.
Seeing as Shotguns are bound to get nerfed at some point in the coming days, this Akimbo Pistol loadout can potentially rise to the top of the most used charts when it comes to close-range weapons.
Since Vanguard weapons integrated into Warzone, we haven’t really seen any standout Pistols used frequently. However, that is sure to change after Call of Duty content creator TheKoreanSavage discovered just how impactful the 1911 Pistol can be.
Naturally, this Pistol loadout will produce better results on Rebirth Island due to the abundance of close-quarters gunfights on the map. Nonetheless, they can still be extremely viable across Caldera if you don’t get caught out in the open with these in hand.

TheKoreanSavage’s 1911 loadout focuses on increasing hip-fire accuracy and damage output. The two most obvious inclusions are the Akimbo perk and Cooper Full-Auto barrel which this loadout absolutely needs to function.
The remaining attachments such as the Pine Tar Grip and ZF4 3.5x Rifle Scope will boost hip-fire accuracy so you don’t miss your shots up close and personal.
If you tend to play a ton of Rebirth Island, you’re definitely going to want to give this loadout a try but even Caldera admirers can find success with the 1911 Pistol.
In addition, the most obvious benefit of equipping a Pistol as a Secondary is the ability to opt for Ghost or Restock with your first Loadout Drop.
