Warzone August 25 patch notes: Caldera map exploits, Redeploy Balloon glitch, bug fixes
Following the huge Season 5 update, Warzone devs Raven Software dropped a small patch on August 25 to fix some frustrating issues. Here are the full patch notes for Warzone’s August 25 update.
Warzone Pacific Season 5 marks the end of Call of Duty’s battle royale as we know it, and Raven Software have gone all-out to make it as unique as possible. Although Caldera’s action originally took place in World War 2, we’ve now got the EX1 shooting laser beams across the map and Black Ops 2’s Menendez in the Battle Pass.
There are always a few small bugs and glitches to address following a major update, and Raven “pushed a small update to Warzone with some bug fixes” on August 25, so here are the full patch notes.
Bug fixes in Warzone August 25 update
Warzone’s August 25 update has fixed even more areas where players were able to get inside or underneath certain areas of Caldera, as well as an issue affecting the Portable Redeploy Balloon.
Raven have also fixed a couple of issues with the Exfil sequence, where the visual blur from falling would stay on the screen or it would be completely black if waiting to redeploy.
Private Matches were disabled at the start of the season, but the card is still marked as “Investigating” on their Trello board of known bugs and issues. Competitive players are especially desperate for Custom Lobbies to return so they can practice for the World Series of Warzone.
Warzone August 25 update patch notes
- Fixed additional collision issues with various elements across Caldera allowing Players to exploit/peek/shoot through them.
- Fixed an issue preventing Players from using the Portable Redeploy Balloon following certain actions such as operating a vehicle – encountering the “Field Upgrade Not Ready” message.
- Fixed an issue causing the visual radial blur from falling to remain on screen during the Exfil sequence.
- Fixed an issue causing Players to experience a black screen during the Exfil sequence if they were previously waiting to redeploy.
