Best Rebirth Island loadout for Warzone Pacific Season 2

You will want to make sure you use the best Warzone Rebirth Island loadout if you want to see success against your enemies.

Warzone Rebirth Island

You may have your favorite weapons for CoD: Warzone, but Rebirth Island is a different ballgame. Here are the best Rebirth Island Loadouts for Warzone Pacific Season 2.

While Warzone‘s battle royale mode is by far the most popular, Rebirth Island allows for a faster and more condensed BR experience. With smaller lobbies, a much smaller map, and quicker gas cycles, Rebirth almost feels like a completely different game.

The same goes for the weapons used on Rebirth Island. Caldera’s layout requires a mix of ranged and close combat weaponry. However, Rebirth Island’s compact layout favors close to medium-range weapons with a high rate of fire.

If you’re looking to dive into Rebirth Island action, we’ve got the best loadouts for Rebirth Island that you’ll want to use.

Best Warzone Rebirth Island loadout

Cold War AK-47 – hybrid Warzone/Rebirth loadout

Cold War AK47 in Warzone
  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
  • Grip: Serpent Grip
  • Ammunition: 45 RND Mag
  • Fifth Attachments: Either Microflex LED or Tiger Team Spotlight

It might be best for those getting used to Rebirth Island to use a weapon you’re familiar with. The AK-47 is still regarded as one of the best weapons in CoD: Warzone. Swap out a few of the attachments to favor ADS Speed over range, and you’re good to go.

The fifth attachment slot is up to personal preference. If you are fine with iron sights, then use the Tiger Team Spotlight. If you can’t use iron rights, use the Microflex LED.

MW Kar98k – Best Rebirth Sniper Loadout

Player using Kar98k in Warzone
  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Stock: FTAC Sport Comb
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Optic: Sniper Scope
  • Barrel: Singuard Custom 27.6″

The Kar98k has remained at the top of the Sniper tier list since Modern Warfare’s release. It is currently one of the most popular weapons across Warzone and it has a ton of value on Rebirth Island.

This build uses attachments that focus on ADS Speed and you’ll definitely have to be quick enough to hit your shots on Rebirth Island. The second enemies take notice of you, your window of opportunity will close.

Rebirth Island is a lot of running and gunning, and snipers don’t usually fit into that meta. But this Kar98k build allows fans of the sniper to use a long-ranged weapon on Rebirth.

Owen Gun – Best “Overkill” Secondary for Rebirth

Vanguard Owen Gun SMG
  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Hockenson 142mm Rapid
  • Optic: M38/Slate 2.5x Custom
  • Stock: Removed Stock
  • Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 72 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Hollow Point
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Perk: Acrobatic
  • Perk: Quick

Some players may prefer the “Overkill” perk to carry around some extra firepower. If that’s the case, you should definitely be running this build of the Owen Gun as your secondary. SMGs fit perfectly into the Rebirth Island meta, and the Owen Gun can be your best friend.

Again, its attachments are slightly different than a Warzone build. It favors the Hockenson 142mm Rapid barrel over the Gawain 188mm Shrouded for increased fire rate. And while many players prefer the Slate Reflector, the M38/Slate 2.5x Custom will provide a better sight picture.

Vargo 52 – Best SMG/Assault Rifle Hybrid

Vargo 52 AR
  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 18.6″ Task Force
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
  • Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
  • Ammunition: Spetsnaz 60 RND

The Vargo is a Black Ops Cold War AR that made its way to Warzone during Pacific Season 2. It has immediately turned into a fan favorite weapon thanks to its ease of use and aiming stability.

The Vargo 52 is a highly versatile weapon that can be used in several scenarios. You can also equip an Axial Arms 3x if you want it to rival the Cold War AK-47 at greater distances but the attachments above will focus on close-quarters combat.

Welgun – Best SMG loadout for Warzone Rebirth Island loadout

Welgun SMG Vanguard
  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: 320mm SA Shrouded
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Removed Stock
  • Underbarrel: Mark VI Skeletal
  • Magazine: 9mm 64 Round Magazine
  • Ammo Type: Hollow Point
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Perk 1: Gung-Ho
  • Perk 2: Quick

Many players, especially those who play primarily on Rebirth Island, agree that the Welgun is currently the best SMG in Warzone. And when it comes to Rebirth, it’s considered one of the best weapons… period.

Since you won’t be fighting many ranged battles, you’ll need weapons with a high fire rate and deal considerable damage up close. The Welgun checks both of those boxes, giving it an insanely low TTK.

Best Perks for Warzone Rebirth Island loadout

best warzone vanguard royale perks

Players will also notice a difference when it comes to preferred perks on Rebirth Island. Here are the perks you should be rocking while fragging out on the Island.

Perk 1

  • Cold Blooded

With Rebirth Island being so small, you’ll need every advantage to stay out of the enemy’s sight. Cold Blooded will keep you hidden longer and allow you to get the jump on your opponents. This also counters the overpowered Combat Scout perk.

Perk 2

  • Tempered
  • Overkill
Warzone Rebirth Island

Players will be in combat almost constantly on Rebirth Island, and the loot pool is pretty limited. The Tempered perk allows players to take advantage of every Armor Plate. This also allows you to stay or get back into a fight much quicker.

However, if you need that extra firepower, it’s acceptable to rock Overkill. You might be sacrificing the utility of Tempered, but a second primary might be worth it.

Perk 3

  • Amped
  • Combat Scout

Amped is the preferred third perk because it gives players the speed they need on Rebirth Island. Whether it’s swapping between weapons to finish a kill or throwing equipment faster, Amped gets the job done,

However, Combat Scout can be a menace, especially on Rebirth. The temporary wall-hacks it gives players are unbeatable on a map like Rebirth Island. The only issue is if players have the Cold-Blooded perk, which negates the effects of Combat Scout.

Best equipment for Warzone Rebirth Island loadout

Rebirth Island POI

What you choose for your Lethal and Tactical equipment can be the difference between life and death. Here is the equipment you should be using on Rebirth Island

For your Lethal, you should be using a Throwing Knife. Throwing a knife quickly after you’ve knocked an enemy ensures that they will not get back up.

And for your Tactical, the best choice is a Stun Grenade. This Tactical will be a valuable tool to check corners and clear buildings. Rebirth Island is full of players playing tight corners, so checking the area with a Stun is always a great idea.

DEADROP dev responds as fans accuse CoD of stealing skin from Dr Disrespect game

Dr Disrespect fans are convinced Activision copied a Variant his game for their latest Warzone skin, and a DEADROP dev has responded.

Doomslayer skin in Warzone and Vanguard

Activision dropped Warzone and Vanguard’s Tracer Pack Malware Ultra Skin but players immediately noticed a striking similarity with Dr Disrespect’s DEADROP, and it looks like it’s even prompted a response from a Midnight Society developer.

Not long after Activision had to apologize for copying artwork from an independent artist, plagiarism accusations are flying once again. This time concerning Vanguard and Warzone’s new Doomslayer skin which Dr Disrespect fans immediately recognized.

Dr Disrespect’s ‘vertical extraction shooter’ DEADROP is currently in development, and there have already been plenty of comparisons with Call of Duty — mostly from Doc himself. He’s previously said that Modern Warfare 2 can’t “match” DEADROP.

Those who have bought a DEADROP Founders Pass have received one of 10,000 “Variants,” which are unique in-game characters. Senior developers have shown off their Variants, and many think they are the inspiration for Call of Duty’s latest bundle.

The Tracer Pack Malware Ultra skin dropped in Warzone and Vanguard on August 15, featuring a hooded sci-fi character with a skull-faced digital visor. Those words could also be used to describe DEADROP founder Robert Bowling’s Variant, and players were quick to make the comparison.

“Damn, they had to scrap the Dog they ripped off then went straight for a DEADROP variant,” replied one Twitter user. “Looks like whoever created this skin TRIED to copy the Variant of one of the leaders of [Midnight Society],” commented another.

While not a direct response, Bowling, who’s an ex-Infinity Ward dev, tweeted: “At least name it after me.”

Not everyone was convinced that the skin was a straight copy though, as some said that it’s a classic sci-fi design that’s been around longer than DEADROP.

We’ll need to wait and see whether Activision respond to the accusations, but Doc fans are convinced. In the meantime, check out how NICKMERCS will be “brutally honest” if he thinks DEADROP is trash.

Warzone players claim lag is making game “unplayable” after Season 4 Reloaded patch

Warzone Pacific players are frustrated with the severe lag that is making the game “unplayable” in Season 4 Reloaded.

Numerous Warzone Pacific players have reported experiencing severe lag which has made the game unplayable after the Season 4 Reloaded update went live.

The Season 4 Reloaded update brought a ton of changes for Warzone Pacific players to explore, including a nerf to the Serpentine Perk as well as the addition of a Terminator crossover.

However, the seasonal update also brought a frustrating problem to the popular Call of Duty title, as reports are coming in of players experiencing lag which makes it impossible to enjoy the game.

When the Season 4 Reloaded update first went live, there were numerous reports of a strange glitch that would cause frame skips and ping spikes. Now players are experiencing another issue in the game.

Reddit user ‘Clip_It_’ claimed that the game has been “unplayable” for a few days and shared a short clip of them experiencing massive lag spikes when playing in the Warzone Pacific subreddit.

In the clip, lag spikes would occur which would cause both the player and his opponents to repeatedly freeze for a few seconds before moving again. The Redditor added that this has been happening in almost every game.

This is a problem that’s also being faced by other players, as a few commenters shared their own recent experiences with the lag spikes. It seems that some Warzone maps are more affected by this than others.

One of the commenters claimed that this issue is more prominent when playing on Caldera, as matches there are “much laggier” compared to those held on the Rebirth Island or Fortune’s Keep maps.

This claim was corroborated by a few other players in the thread, as one of them reported having smooth games on Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island while experiencing terrible lag on Caldera.

The player added: “It’s the same thing for me. I can’t play [Caldera] without it skipping. [I] have never gotten below 90 ping, but can have smooth games on Rebirth and FK.”

The developers have yet to address the lag issues that have popped up in Season 4 Reloaded Hopefully, a fix will be implemented for them in a brand-new Warzone Pacific update patch soon.

CoD fans reveal necessary change that could save Warzone 2

As players look forward to Warzone 2, they have revealed one of the issues with the current Warzone that needs to change.

warzone players fighting in verdansk

With Warzone 2.0 on the horizon, Call of Duty fans have revealed one of the most important changes that are needed for it to succeed.

Warzone is coming to the end of its lifespan, and while the upcoming Season 5 update is looking to give the incredibly successful BR a great send-off, players are hungry for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.

While not a lot is actually known about Warzone 2, players, of course, have their recommendations and suggestions for the game. Most of these Warzone 2 wants are based on the player’s experiences with the first installment.

Lag and performance issues have been a dominant topic of player frustrations when it comes to problems with Warzone. Just recently, players had found a glitch with the ping system, which was causing very poor performance.

Now, Reddit user juicemtl has highlighted the latency issue in Warzone, saying that it “needs to stop if WZ2 wants to be successful.”

The user expands on his opinion in the comments, saying “I don’t care how good of a game WZ2 will be, if they can’t figure out a way to have the game run smoothly and if packet burst and bad servers are going to be the norm, the game will fail.”

Players in the comments of the Reddit post share similar experiences when it comes to lag and this error symbol in Warzone, with one Redditor saying “everytime that s*** pops up I lag lmao.”

While many seem to have experienced the problem, some feel that Warzone 2 will be successful regardless of server issues, as Warzone has done well even with them: “You’re joking right? If that was the case WZ would’ve failed a long time ago.”

We’ll have to wait and see how people receive Warzone 2 when it officially launches. With Modern Warfare 2 on the way and the Call of Duty Next event soon to come, it may not be long until we get our first look at the sequel to Warzone.
