Warzone Rebirth Island

You may have your favorite weapons for CoD: Warzone, but Rebirth Island is a different ballgame. Here are the best Rebirth Island Loadouts for Warzone Season 5.

While Warzone‘s battle royale mode is by far the most popular, Rebirth Island allows for a faster and more condensed BR experience. With smaller lobbies, a much smaller map, and quicker gas cycles, Rebirth almost feels like a completely different game.

The same goes for the weapons used on Rebirth Island. Verdansk’s layout requires a mix of ranged and close combat weaponry. However, Rebirth Island’s compact layout favors close to medium-range weapons with a high rate of fire.

If you want to switch up your game or want to play but don’t have 30 minutes to spare, you should check out Rebirth Island. Aren’t sure what the best loadouts for Rebirth Island are? We’ve got you covered.

Best Warzone Rebirth Island loadout

AK-47 – hybrid Warzone/Rebirth loadout

  • Muzzle: Suppressor
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
  • Grip: Serpent Grip
  • Ammunition: 45 RND Mag
  • Fifth Attachments: Either Microflex LED or Tiger Team Spotlight

It might be best for those getting used to Rebirth Island to use a weapon you’re familiar with. The AK-47 is regarded as one of the best weapons in CoD: Warzone. Swap out a few of the attachments to favor ADS Speed over range, and you’re good to go.

The fifth attachment slot is up to personal preference. If you are fine with iron sights, then use the Tiger Team Spotlight. If you can’t use iron rights, use the Microflex LED. YOu can also rock the “Fully Loaded” perk if you want to make sure you have enough ammo when dropping back in.

Kar98k – Best Rebirth Sniper Loadout

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Stock: FTAC Sport Comb
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Optic: Sniper Scope
  • Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

You might look at this loadout with confusion, but this is the best sniper for Rebirth Island. You don’t need a barrel or other range enhancing attachments due to how small Rebirth is.

Instead, this build uses attachments that focus on ADS Speed.

Rebirth Island is a lot of running and gunning, and snipers don’t usually fit into that meta. But this Kar98k build allows fans of the sniper to use a long-ranged weapon on Rebirth.

Bullfrog – Best “Overkill” Secondary for Rebirth

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 7.4″ Task Force
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
  • Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip
  • Grip: Serpent Grip

Some players may prefer the “Overkill” perk to carry around some extra firepower. If that’s the case, you should definitely be running this build of the Bullfrog as your secondary. SMGs fit perfectly into the Rebirth Island meta, and the Bullfrog can be your best friend.

Again, its attachments are slightly different than a Warzone build. It favors the Bruiser Grip over Spetsnaz for increased ADS speed. And while many players prefer extra ammunition, the Serpent Grip once again boosts ADS speed.

XM4 – Best SMG/Assault Rifle Hybrid

  • Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
  • Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
  • Optics: Microflex LED
  • Stock: Raider Pad
  • Ammunition: 45 RND Mag

The XM4 is a fantastic assault rifle that many players use in Warzone. However, its Rebirth Island build turns it into an SMG/AR hybrid.

The attachments sacrifice range for ADS speed which is key for combat on Rebirth Island.

One change players can make is switching out the 45 RND Mag for the 60 Rnd Mag. However, this will lower the ADS speed a little.

OTs 9 – Best SMG loadout for Warzone Rebirth Island loadout

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
  • Barrel: 8.1″ Task Force
  • Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
  • Ammunition: VDV 40 RND Fast Mag
  • Grip: Serpent Grip

Many players, especially those who play primarily on Rebirth Island, agree that the OTs 9 is the best SMG in Warzone. And when it comes to Rebirth, it’s considered one of the best weapons… period.

Since you won’t be fighting many ranged battles, you’ll need weapons with a high fire rate and deal considerable damage up close. The OTs 9 checks both of those boxes, giving it an insanely low TTK.

Best Perks for Warzone Rebirth Island loadout

Players will also notice a difference when it comes to preferred perks on Rebirth Island. Here are the perks you should be rocking while fragging out on the Island.

Perk 1

  • Cold Blooded

With Rebirth Island being so small, you’ll need every advantage to stay out of the enemy’s sight. Cold Blooded will keep you hidden longer and allow you to get the jump on your opponents. This also counters the overpowered Combat Scout perk.

Perk 2

  • Tempered
  • Overkill

Players will be in combat almost constantly on Rebirth Island, and the loot pool is pretty limited. The Tempered perk allows players to take advantage of every Armor Plate. This also allows you to stay or get back into a fight much quicker.

However, if you need that extra firepower, it’s acceptable to rock Overkill. You might be sacrificing the utility of Tempered, but a second primary might be worth it.

Perk 3

  • Amped
  • Combat Scout

Amped is the preferred yellow perk because it gives players the speed they need on Rebirth Island. Whether it’s swapping between weapons to finish a kill or throwing equipment faster, Amped gets the job done,

However, Combat Scout can be a menace, especially on Rebirth. The temporary wall-hacks it gives players are unbeatable on a map like Rebirth Island. The only issue is if players have the Cold-Blooded perk, which negates the effects of Combat Scout.

Best equipment for Warzone Rebirth Island loadout

What you choose for your Lethal and Tactical equipment can be the difference between life and death. Here is the equipment you should be using on Rebirth Island

For your Lethal, you should be using a Throwing Knife. Every player starts with a self-res, and throwing a knife quickly after they’re knocked ensures they aren’t getting back up. However, if you aren’t confident in your aim, opt for a Claymore. Since players will constantly be running in and out of buildings, anywhere is a good place to deploy a Claymore.

And for your Tactical, the best choice is a Heartbeat Sensor. Again, you are always going to be close to your opponents while on Rebirth Island. The Heartbeat Sensor allows you to keep tabs on your opponents even while they’re in the next building.

Warzone players want Raven to switch two POIs on Caldera

A Warzone player has rearranged the POIs on Caldera after the community has expressed their discontent with the map design.

Published

on

Warzone’s new map hasn’t exactly been received very well by players and now the community is suggesting that Raven should switch around two of the POI’s.

Warzone‘s new map Caldera hasn’t exactly been getting positive reviews since it was introduced. As well as bugs and glitches on the map, players have also not been happy with the layout, with many missing Verdansk.

With that being said, one player decided to come up with a way to make the map better by rearranging the POIs.

Reddit user ARES_GOD put a post up in the Warzone subreddit of the Caldera map. The post is captioned: “Hey @RavenSoftware just a thought about Caldera think this would feel better… (Changing POI location).”

Upon inspection, players will notice that the map of Caldera in the post is slightly different from the actual layout of the map. In fact, two of the most popular POIs have switched positions with each other, which the player feels would make Caldera “feel better.”

The two POIs in question are Peak and Capital, which have been switched in this version of the Caldera map. Peak is usually right in the center of the map, which many players aren’t too fond of, as one of the comments states: “Yeah i just dont like peak in the middle.”

The massive mountain directly in the middle of Caldera makes it hard to rotate, as traversing up rocky terrain is notoriously difficult in Warzone.

The idea is to switch this massive height with Capital, a more level POI that would likely make it easier for players to rotate through. Players seem to like the idea, as the post has over three hundred upvotes, with comments expressing their fondness of the change: “The way you edited the map like this is incredible…more buildings at the center for strategizing.”

However, one comment has pointed out that the logistics of the change won’t make much sense: “But whos going to go to an island resort NOT on the beach. And the capital needs a water way for trade. Not very feasible. Though I agree, peak dead center, not my favorite.”

This probably won’t be the way in which Raven updates Caldera, however, they have confirmed that changes are coming.
