Warzone Cold-Blooded perk gets powerful buff in Season 5

The Warzone Cold-Blooded perk received a major buff in Season 5 which allows players to negate the affects of other powerful perks.

Warzone Cold Blooded Perk

For those who prefer to stay undetected, the Warzone Cold-Blooded perk received a major buff at the start of Season 5.

The Warzone Cold-Blooded perk is one of the most popular perks in Call of Duty: Warzone because of its utility against AI and thermals. It doesn’t hide players from UAVs or Recon Drones, but it does make players a lot harder to find.

At the start of Warzone Season 5, Cold-Blooded has received a buff that makes it an even more powerful perk. Especially since one of the new perks added this season would likely cause the death of many players. Luckily, the Warzone Cold-Blooded perk negates its effects.

Warzone Cold-Blooded perk Season 5 buff

The first major buff for the Cold-Blooded perk is that the user no longer triggers the High Alert perk, which got a major buff of its own this season. High Alert causes a yellow outline to appear around the user’s HUD when an enemy outside of their view sees them. However, High Alert no longer detects players using Cold-Blooded.

Cold-Blooded also works against a new perk called Combat Scout. This perk is extremely useful, but it won’t affect players using the Warzone Cold-Blooded perk. When a player using Combat Scout damages another player, the damaged opponent will be highlighted orange for a moment and will be pinged.

Combat Scout will be one of the best perks to use, especially in team game modes. If knowing where your enemy is located is half the battle, Combat Scout already has that half covered.

Thanks to these two buffs, the Warzone Cold-Blooded perk will keep players hidden for longer. Without High Alert or Combat Scout giving away your location, Cold-Blooded is one of the best perks to have equipped.

Perks can be confusing, but having the Cold-Blooded perk equipped is now a no-brainer for those looking to be as undetected as possible on Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

Warzone expert reveals best SMG loadout with “absurd TTK” in Season 4

Warzone expert WhosImmortal has revealed the best SMG loadout with “absurd” TTK in Warzone Pacific Season 4.

Call of Duty expert WhosImmortal has revealed the best SMG loadout with an “absurd TTK” that you can use following the meta changes in Warzone Pacific Season 4.

The Warzone Pacific Season 4 update had a significant impact on the game’s meta after introducing numerous buffs and nerfs to the game’s existing weapons as well as adding the new Marco 5 SMG.

As a result, players are wondering which SMG is the most effective choice, and Warzone expert WhosImmortal has shared his loadout for the best Season 4 SMG with an insanely fast TTK.

WhosImmortal went over the best SMG loadouts that players can use in Warzone Pacific Season 4, including the Owen Gun, MP40, and MAC-10. While these are all effective choices, the top spot on this list went to the Type 100.

After going over the stats for the SMG, the Warzone expert praised its “absurd” TTK which allows it to eliminate enemies extremely fast. He then shared his best loadout for the Type 100.

WhosImmortal’s Type 100 Warzone loadout

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Sakura 196mm Light
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Warubachi Grip Folding
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 9mm Kurz 48 Rounds Drum
  • Ammo Type: Subsonic
  • Rear Grip: Taped Grip
  • Perk: Gung-Ho
  • Perk 2: Quick

He starts off this loadout with the Recoil Booster muzzle and M1941 Hand Stop underbarrel to bring the weapon’s recoil under control. This will allow greater precision, and the Slate Reflector is a reliable optic choice.

The Sakura 196mm light barrel, Taped Grip, and Warubachi Grip Folding stock will boost the weapon’s ADS speed, Aim Walking movement speed, and Sprint to Fire speed. This will ensure that you move around the map faster.

He went with the 9mm Kurz 48 Rounds Drum to give the weapon plenty of ammo, and the Subsonic rounds will ensure that there is no minimap ping when you fire your weapon. Gung-Ho will allow you to fire while sprinting and Quick will improve your sprint speed.

This Warzone Pacific Season 4 loadout will grant you high mobility and low recoil so that you can properly take advantage of the Type 100’s TTK. So, be sure to try it out after you hop into the game.

Furious Warzone players claim RICOCHET devs are on “vacation” as cheaters run rampant

Warzone Pacific players are upset with cheaters ruining matches, and are slamming the anti-cheat measures for being ineffective.

Warzone Pacific players are frustrated about encountering cheaters and are slamming the anti-cheat developers for being on “vacation” while this problem is ruining matches.

Cheaters have been a major nuisance in Warzone, and the developers often quickly respond to this problem by implementing anti-cheat measures as well as removing hackers in ban waves.

While the RICOCHET anti-cheat system has helped rid the game of numerous cheaters, there have been reports of the situation getting worse all of a sudden, and the Warzone community is furious.

Warzone’s RICOCHET anti-cheat system’s kernel-level driver detects software and applications that players use to cheat, allowing the security team to respond quickly. While this is effective in finding hackers, a few still manage to ruin matches.

Reddit user ‘bwash407’ shared a clip in the Warzone Pacific subreddit, and it showed them spectating a player that was instantly locking on to numerous targets at different locations on the map.

This was a clear case of cheating, as the player should not be able to immediately lock on to multiple opponents at that distance. The Redditor sarcastically stated: “RICOCHET must be on vacation this week.”

While RICOCHET helps reduce cheating in the game, a few Warzone players feel that the anti-cheat measures aren’t effective since hackers can still use these kinds of exploits during matches.

One of the commenters claimed that cheaters have been running rampant for the last couple of weeks and appearing in almost every game. As a result, Warzone Pacific is starting to feel “unplayable.”

Another player replied that the most obvious cheaters are the ones that don’t bother to hide. There are others using wall glitches to secure unfair kills while players are unable to retaliate against them.

Top Warzone players are also upset by the current state of the game. Pro player ‘SuperEvan’ spoke out against the recent influx of cheaters, asking if the RICOCHET anti-cheat system had stopped working altogether.

While running into cheaters can be irritating, the Call of Duty developers recently reassured players in a recent progress report that the RICOCHET anti-cheat system will “get smarter and better as time progresses.”

Call of Duty players are desperate to get their hands on Modern Warfare 2 in October and in the run-up, players can unlock Vanguard and Warzone’s Final Judgement bundle for free. Here’s everything in the bundle and how to get it.

Modern Warfare 2 arrives on October 28, meaning that with Warzone Pacific Season 4 in full swing, it’s only around four months away. 2022’s CoD brings ‘Warzone 2.0,’ new movement mechanics, and takes Task Force 141 around the world in a new campaign.

Players can already unlock all of the previously released Ghost skins as part of MW2’s Vault Edition, but in the run-up to release, players can also get their hands on a new Store bundle for free.

Here’s how Modern Warfare 2 players can unlock the free Final Judgement bundle in Vanguard and Warzone.

How to get free Final Judgement bundle in Vanguard & Warzone

Vanguard and Warzone players can get their hands on the Final Judgement bundle by pre-ordering Modern Warfare 2’s digital edition. The bundle usually costs 1500 CoD Points (~$15/£13) so it’s a great deal if you plan on purchasing Modern Warfare 2 anyway.

It must be a digital pre-order for it to register, so make sure you’ve pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2 through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Battle.net, or Steam. If pre-ordering through Steam, you should also ensure your profile is connected to your Call of Duty/Activision ID.

What’s included in Warzone Final Judgement bundle?

Warzone and Vanguard’s Final Judgement bundle comes with a medieval executioner-themed Operator skin for Lucas, an Automaton Blueprint, as well as a Calling Card, Emblem, and Sticker.

Here’s everything included in Warzone and Vanguard’s Final Judgement bundle:

  • Deathknell Lucas Skin
  • Bloodthirsty Automaton Blueprint
  • Death’s Judgement Calling Card
  • Underworldly Emblem
  • Devil’s Head Reticle
  • Night Stalk Sticker
  • I Look Intimidating Lucas Quip
  • Bloody Nose Lucas Quip

This bundle is especially useful if you’re a fan of the Automaton, as it comes equipped with essentially the meta build for Warzone, so you don’t need to worry about ruining its look by changing attachments.

PlayStation players can also get their hands on the free Season 4 Combat Pack, so be sure to check out how.
