Warzone content will transfer over with Black Ops Cold War
Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Warzone will be tightly integrated when the game launches on November 13.
Now, the company has confirmed that fans who have leveled up in Warzone over the past several months and earned content through Modern Warfare & Warzone will keep all of that content with them going into the Black Ops Cold War seasons of Warzone.
Inventory items in Black Ops Cold War can be used in both titles, with shared progression between the two games when Black Ops Cold War drops on November 13.
Black Ops Cold War includes shared progression features with Warzone, adding inventory items that can be used in both titles. Plus, Warzone players will still have access to Modern Warfare® content they earned previously, like Operators and weapon blueprints. More information on Black Ops Cold War and Warzone will be announced at a later date.
Black Ops Cold War will also support and build on the hit, free-to-play experience Call of Duty: Warzone. Black Ops Cold War includes shared progression features with Warzone, adding brand new inventory items that can be used in both Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. Warzone players will still have access to all of their Call of Duty: Modern Warfare® content, including Operators and Weapon Blueprints previously earned.
Activision says more details on Warzone and Black Ops Cold War feature set to be announced closer to the game’s launch, so stay tuned.
