Warzone devs finally fix frustrating Gas Mask bug getting players killed
Raven Software have officially fixed the frustrating Warzone Gas Mask bug that was getting players killed in Season 4 Reloaded.
Warzone is definitely not immune to bugs and issues, and despite players praising the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update for opening up the meta to Modern Warfare and Cold War weapons, an issue with Gas Masks was causing players unnecessary losses.
Luckily, Raven Software have released a new patch on August 3 that addresses this issue, as well as a variety of other tweaks, buffs, and nerfs.
In Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, players noticed that they would continue to cough and take damage in the gas despite having a Gas Mask. This has been extremely frustrating for players, as the Gas Mask is a vital mechanic for being able to survive and make great plays.
Players felt as if the devs “cant get the gas mask right,” as there have been several issues with the mechanic throughout the seasons.
Warzone Season 4 Reloaded Gas Mask fix
In the Warzone August 3 patch notes, the devs state that they have “fixed an issue that caused players to receive damage when entering the Gas due to a minor delay in the Gas Mask animation.”
Following this update, players should no longer receive damage or cough when they enter the gas with a Gas Mask. Raven Software were fairly quick to act upon this bug and fix it, so hopefully, they continue to show this type of initiative even after Warzone 2 is released.
