Raven Software has responded to fans complaint that the DMR nerf in Call of Duty: Warzone was not enough.

The studio released an in game update for Call of Duty: Warzone on Wednesday, January 6 that was intended to address the issues caused by the DMR in the game.

The patch notes for the January 6 update revealed the following changes:

  • DMR 14 – Reduced headshot damage, increased recoil
  • Type 63 – Reduced headshot damage, increased recoil
  • Mac-10 – Decreased headshot multiplier
  • Dual pistols – Increased hip fire spread, decreased damage range

However, shortly after the patch went live, many fans started complaining about the nerf to the DMR not being enough, including many content creators.

Now, Raven Software has shared a tweet on January 7 stating that they are consistently looking at all of the feedback from players and monitoring the best changes to make. Their tweet states they are pushing for ‘the best gameplay experience’ possible in Warzone.

It’s not clear at this time how or when they will make more changes to the DMR, but fans continue to be experiencing issues with the weapon in Warzone.
