Warzone players are frustrated with a bug in the game’s menus that’s still preventing them from changing their Operator skins, but the developers have scheduled a fix.

There are always a few bugs and glitches that plague games after a new update goes live. Some of these glitches persist even a few update patches, and one of these is still causing problems in Season 6.

Multiple players reported bugs within the in-game Operator menus, and these have been preventing them from changing their Operator skins for a while. Now, the developers have promised a fix for the glitch.

Various characters and their skins appear to be unselectable in Operator menus, with the cursor skipping right over them. As a result, Warzone players are unable to pick certain Operators.

This greatly limits the number of Operators that players are able to pick in Warzone, and players have reported facing this issue since Season 5. The good news is that Raven Software are aware of the bug and have promised a fix for it.

“We’re aware that a number of [Warzone] players are continuing to experience issues with menu hitching. We’ve identified the cause and a subsequent fix is in the works. We’ll provide an ETA as soon as possible,” tweeted the developers on October 8.

The developers recently addressed some lag problems with the Operator Menus in the October 8 Warzone update patch notes. However, this strange bug which has been on their Trello board since September 17, persisted.

While we don’t know when exactly this fix will arrive in the game, it’s assuring to know that the developers are currently investigating it. They will implement a fix for this in a future update patch.
