Warzone expert explains why forgotten Cold War SMG is a “top tier” Sniper support weapon
Warzone expert Luke ‘Metaphor’ Canning has revealed which forgotten Black Ops Cold War SMG is a “top-tier” Sniper support option that players should try out.
Sniper Rifles are ideal for Warzone players that prefer to pick off their enemies from a distance, and it’s best to pair them with an SMG, so you can also take out any opponents that challenge you up close.
While you’ll find plenty of popular weapon options to choose from, Warzone content creator Metaphor has highlighted one underused SMG option that is extremely effective as a Sniper support weapon.
In a video posted on August 20, Metaphor explained that while the LC10 SMG from Black Ops Cold War isn’t the best weapon in Warzone, it’s still a “top-tier’ Sniper support option that’s currently being “slept on.”
At the time of writing, the weapon has an extremely low pick rate of 0.26 on WZRanked, but Metaphor made it clear that using the right attachments will make the LC10 SMG into a viable choice.
Metaphor’s Warzone LC10 Sniper support loadout
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 13.9″ Task Force
- Stock: Raider Stock
- Laser: Tiger Team Spotlight
- Ammunition: 45 Round
The Agency Suppressor muzzle and 13.9″ Task Force barrel grant a boost to the weapon’s damage range while hiding you from minimaps. Meanwhile the Tiger Team Spotlight and Raider Stock both greatly improve your mobility.
For his choice of ammo, Metaphor went with the 45 Round magazine to ensure that the LC10 has plenty of ammo to handle any enemies that attempt to flush you out of your camping spot. With these attachments equipped, the weapon can dominate close-range encounters.
So, be sure to try out the LC10 SMG as your Sniper support option if you want to be prepared for close-range battles with enemy opponents. It remains to be seen if this weapon will rise in the meta again soon.
