Warzone expert FaZe Booya reveals deadly Season 5 hip-fire PPSh loadout
Thanks to Season 5 buffs, Vanguard’s PPSh is one of the best SMGs in Warzone, and Ean ‘FaZe Booya’ Chase has shared the optimal hip-fire loadout for the weapon.
It seems Vanguard‘s PPSh SMG is finally getting a chance to shine during Warzone Pacific’s final season. Better late than never seems to be the motto for the weapon as FaZe Booya claims it to be a top option on Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep during Season 5.
Hip-fire SMG loadouts may take some getting used to, but once you master the unique movement, you’ll unlock the ability to easily finesse enemies on Warzone’s smaller maps.
Warzone’s Season 5 update buffed the PPSh by way of attachment. The 8mm Nambu 71 Round Mags had their damage penalty removed and damage range increased, making them a viable option on the PPSh once more.
Keep in mind that this hip-fire PPSh loadout is strictly for close-quarters gunfights as removing the necessity to ADS makes the SMG extremely difficult to deal with. FaZe Booya pairs this PPSh loadout with a Kar98k, which maximizes his versatility on Rebirth Island.
FaZe Booya Warzone hip-fire PPSh loadout
- Muzzle: Recoil Booster
- Barrel: Kovalevskaya 230mm B03P
- Optic: Slate Reflector
- Stock: Removed Stock
- Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
- Magazine: 8mm Nambu 71 Round Mags
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip
- Perk 1: Tight Grip
- Perk 2: Quick
The primary purpose of this selection of attachments is to increase fire rate and hip-fire accuracy. For this reason, the Kovalevskaya 230mm B03P barrel is the most important attachment as it boosts hip-fire accuracy, hip-fire recoil recovery, and fire rate.
The Recoil Booster and 8mm Nambu 71 Round Mags will add to the PPSh’s already impressive fire rate. Meanwhile, the Removed Stock and Quick attachments will allow for increased mobility when you’re sliding around enemies and opting to hip-fire.
While a high rate of fire and excellent mobility make this loadout meta, it’s important to increase recoil control so your hip-fire bullets hit their target. Thanks to Tight Grip and Pine Tar Grip, you’ll be able to pull off accurate shots using your crosshair.
