Modern Warfare weapons continue to be fan-favorites in Warzone, and expert WhosImmortal has broken down a loadout that’s perfect for Rebirth Island following major Season 5 Reloaded buffs.

Warzone’s meta has changed once again with the Season 5 Reloaded update bringing the last major update ahead of Warzone 2’s November 16 launch. While a forgotten Cold War Assault Rifle has hit the meta again, Warzone expert WhosImmortal revealed two Modern Warfare weapons that are perfect for Rebirth Island.

Following all of the major buffs and nerfs in Season 5 Reloaded, the expert included Modern Warfare’s M4A1 and CX-9 SMG in his list of the top 10 loadouts to use on Rebirth Island.

The M4A1 has been a viable choice on Rebirth Island for a long time but has only got better with the Season 5 Reloaded update. Getting a buff to its neck damage multiplier means that you’ll find its time to kill much more consistent when aiming for the head.

The CX-9 is an interesting choice as even though it never made great waves when it arrived as a post-launch weapon for Modern Warfare, it received a healthy buff with Season 5 Reloaded. Now, the CX-9 will deal much more damage to the head and neck and has better mobility thanks to its sprint-to-fire speed increase.

WhosImmortal explained that the CX-9 is very fast with an “insane” reload and “has good damage as well.”

WhosImmortal Modern Warfare loadout for Warzone Rebirth Island

M4A1 Rebirth Island loadout

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Corvus Custom Marksman
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Magazine: 60 Round Mags

CX-9 Rebirth Island loadout

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Laser: 5mW Laser
  • Stock: CX-FR
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drums
  • Perk: Sleight of Hand

While the CX-9 loadout is pretty standard for a Modern Warfare SMG in Warzone, raising its damage range and mobility, WhosImmortal went off-kilter in his M4A1 Rebirth Island loadout.

While the majority of attachments are standard, he’s opted not to use the ever-popular Stock M16 Grenadier barrel. Instead, he thinks the Corvus Custom Marksman barrel is the perfect choice for Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep.

“For Caldera or for super long range I’d be using the M16 because it has the best range, the best control, but Corvus is still helping out with control, with velocity, with range, just not as much,” he explained. “So in turn, the cons are not as harsh, it’s a little bit more aggressive here. So it literally works perfectly for Rebirth and for Fortune’s Keep.”

Season 5 Reloaded might be the last chance you have to play Rebirth Island as leaks indicate that Rebirth and Fortune’s Keep will be removed after Warzone 2 releases.
