Loadouts are arguably the most important thing in Call of Duty: Warzone, and they received a very welcomed change with the arrival of the Season 4 Reloaded update for the battle royale game.

The highly anticipated Season 4 Reloaded update arrived in the world of Warzone on July 14/15, and it has brought plenty of changes to shake things up in the Call of Duty battle royale including a wide range of weapon buffs and nerfs and the addition of the new OTs 9 SMG.

There were also some smaller changes made in the Season 4 Reloaded update that players may not have noticed at first such as a change to how many players can use ziplines and the way loadouts work in Warzone.

The changes that affected Warzone loadouts in the Season 4 Reloaded update were major quality of life altertaions that will no doubt make choosing and using loadouts much easier and smoother.

One of the changes is that players can now use their custom loadouts in the pre-game lobby when they are playing the regular battle royale game modes in the same way you could in Plunder.

The loadout you pick in the pre-game lobby will then be the loadout that is automatically selected when you open a loadout drop.

This will stop players from having to scroll through their list of Warzone loadouts and potentially making themselves sitting ducks.

Another major change is that players can now edit their loadouts in the pre-game lobby, such as you can in the Multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which means that you can make changes right before the match without having to back out of the match and do it in the lobby.

Unfortunately, this new feature opened the door for some bugs to appear which allowed players to spawn in with their loadouts at the beginning of matches and also allowed them to have unlimited Dead Silence. Raven Software has since disabled the pre-lobby loadout selection feature for the time being to fix these issues and will add it back in at a later time.

While these are not the craziest changes to Warzone loadouts, they are definitely ones that have received a great deal of positive feedback from the Call of Duty community so far and will no doubt help make things go smoother for players in their future matches.
