Warzone meets Stranger Things in brutal fan-made Vecna finisher
Call of Duty has included some incredible crossovers with film and TV, and a fan-made clip brings Stranger Things to Warzone with a brutal Vecna finishing move.
Fortnite revolutionized film and TV crossovers, bringing hundreds of fan-favorite characters, locations, and weapons from all sides of pop culture to the game. Warzone has followed suit, bringing iconic characters such as Jigsaw, John McClane, Rambo, Judge Dredd, and Ghostface.
Stranger Things season 4 has just wrapped up on Netflix, and it’s got players speculating how a crossover with Warzone would look. One player has turned this crossover into reality by animating a brutal Vecna finishing move.
Vecna is the Freddy Krueger-esque antagonist of Stranger Things 4, brutally murdering teenagers by putting them in a trance, raising them several feet in the air, snapping their bones, and popping their eyeballs.
It’s all very gruesome, and Warzone fan Mistakingone99 has actually rendered what Vecna’s curse would look like as a finishing move. In this gory finisher, we can see the grandfather clock drop down before Polina is lifted into the air where her bones break and her eyeballs implode.
While this is fan-made, it’s absolutely something that could feature in Warzone. Crossover bundles often come with a finishing move from their movies, such as John McClane having the gun taped to his back and Donnie Darko’s Frank dropping a jet engine on his enemy.
While there wasn’t a Stranger Things crossover this time around, you never know what Activision and Infinity Ward are cooking up for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
Plus, keep an eye on the Store for the Terminator bundle set to arrive in Season 4 Reloaded.
