As much as Warzone is a test of player skill, there’s no denying that some lobbies are easier than others. One player who started collecting data on various matches has now claimed that streamers actually get easier lobbies than the average player.
When it comes to Warzone, many of us turn to streamers to pick up helpful tips, or sometimes just for sheer entertainment. For a lot of fans watching a full-time gamer is the best way to see the game being played at the highest level.
But according to one Warzone player in a since-removed post, streamers are being placed in easier lobbies than the average gamer – and they’ve collected data to back up the claim.
This is a discussion that has going on for some time now, and streamers themselves have spoken about getting into easier lobbies.
JGOD has found in the past that playing in the morning makes lobbies less difficult, and JackFrags has also said previously that he will only play early in the day.
Reddit user Quaisy began using cod.tracker.gg to compare their matches to top streamers, after becoming tired at the amount of “sweaty” lobbies they were put in.
They discovered that based on the average K/D ratio of each lobby, streamers seemed to be getting “easier” games than the average player.
To prove this theory, they created a spreadsheet of the last 64 games of Warzone that they, a few random players, small streamers, and big streamers have played. They explained their findings in a now-removed post.
Each player was ranked from lowest to highest K/D, and each match was given a difficulty rating based on the average K/D of the entire lobby. Quaisy described the results as “infuriating.”
The data highlighted a clear correlation between the notoriety of the streamer and the number of easier matches they were given.
In 64 matches, Quasie themselves only had three lobbies with less than 1.1 K/D, whereas the likes of JackFrags and Tfue had 50 and 41 respectively.
Factors like individual K/D or win rate didn’t appear to affect the lobbies that players were placed in. Smaller streamer JustLawlyTTV, who had a K/D of 7.93 and a 62.7 win percentage, was still given 13 harder games than HusKerrs, who had 4.72 K/D and a 15.9% win rate.
The only big outlier in the data was streamer ScummN, who only played in 10 easier lobbies under 1.1 K/D across the 64 matches. The user also noted that solo games tended to have lower K/Ds, which could affect the data.
Quasie added that while seeing players with much higher stats being given so many easier games was “demoralizing”, they don’t blame the streamers for the issue.
Instead, they hinted that Activision or Raven may have somehow “tagged” notorious streamers to give them priority lobbies. However, there is no concrete evidence at the moment to back up these claims.

Best PPSH-41 loadout for CoD: Warzone Season 5
The PPSH-41 is still a great SMG choice in Season 5 of Warzone, so here is how to make the best loadout for this Black Ops Cold War weapon.
The notoriously fast-firing PPSH-41 SMG can cause significant damage in Warzone Season 5, so make sure you’re not missing out with our best loadout, complete with attachments and Perks.
Multiple Call of Duty games have featured the PPSH-41 SMG, and it’s been mega-popular and used frequently. Its blistering speed can sometimes be hard to control, but given that Warzone has a near-endless stream of attachments, the PPSH can become a beast.
The Black Ops Cold War SMG can destroy large groups of enemies in close quarters without you having to break much of a sweat if you use the right attachments and Perks to maximize its potential.
With this in mind, here is how to make the best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout for Season 5 of the Call of Duty battle royale.
- Best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout
- Best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout attachments
- Best perks to run with Warzone PPSH-41 class
- Most recent PPSH-41 buffs and nerfs
- How to unlock the PPSH-41
- Best alternatives
Best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout
Best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout attachments
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 15.7″ Task Force
- Stock: Raider Stock
- Ammunition: 55 Rnd Drum
- Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
To get the best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout rolling, we’re immediately applying the popular GRU Suppressor as we want our SMG to be as quiet as a mouse but still own at any range. The 15.7″ Task Force barrel is a must for most SMGs as, again, it increases damage over longer distances.
The Raider Stock is excellent for increasing your overall mobility and speed, and the 55 Rnd Drum gives us a little extra to finish off two or three players.
We finish the attachments off with the Serpent Wrap as its increased ADS, with little drawbacks, is a big plus to munch enemies at close range.
Best Perks to run with Warzone PPSH-41 class
- Perk 1: E.O.D
- Perk 2: Overkill
- Perk 3: Combat Scout
Given that you’re going to want to get in close with PPSH regularly in Warzone, E.O.D will allow you to shrug off Thermite, Claymores, and other explosive distractions.

Even with attachments, the best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout still lacks the full range that an Assault Rifle can offer, so Overkill lets us play with a longer-range gun such as the HDR.
Lastly, we recommend equipping Combat Scout, highlighting any enemies you damage for your whole squad to see. You’ll be able to hunt them down with greater ease.
Most recent PPSH buffs and nerfs
Raven Software applied some buffs to the Black Ops Cold War SMG in the Warzone Season 5 Reloaded update that went live on September 8, 2021.
This update also brought a whole host of other weapon balancing changes that you can find here.
You can find the latest PPSH buff details below:
- Weapon Kick adjusted
- ADS Sway adjusted
While firing the PPSh-41 (BOCW), the Weapon could kick in a manner that would make it difficult to gauge bullet directionality. This is a subtle change that will have a significant impact on the ability to line up shots reliably.
How to unlock the PPSH
Players could unlock this Black Ops Cold War SMG by reaching Level 15 on the Season 3 Battle Pass.
However, with that Battle Pass no longer available for players to level up with the arrival of Season 5, players now have two different challenges they can complete to unlock this weapon.
You can find these unlock challenges below:
- Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer/Warzone: Using SMGs, get 3 kills immediately after sprinting in 15 different completed matches.
- Black Ops Cold War Zombies: Using SMGs, kill 50 Special or Elite enemies while they are ensared in your Toxic Growth.
The best Warzone PPSH-41 loadout is simply a machine. But if you want some serious range to go with it, then equip something meaty like the LW3 Tundra.

How to make Apex Legends’ R-301 Carbine in Warzone
Here’s how you can make the incredibly popular and powerful Apex Legends R-301 Carbine Assault Rifle in Warzone.
Many players who enjoy Apex Legends also like to indulge in Warzone and vice versa. So, if you’re a Warzone player wanting to represent a bit of Apex in your play, then hop into some games with this wacky R-301 Carbine loadout in Verdansk.
There’s been a lot of back and forth between Apex and Warzone with many players crossing over to Respawn Entertainment’s shooter – including NICKMERCS.
But a method has been found that allows Warzone players to capture some of the Apex magic by wielding a unique loadout that is reminiscent of the R-301 Carbine from Apex Legends.
Apex Legends R-301 Carbine in Call of Duty: Warzone
Apex players will know that the R-301 Assault Rifle is one of the best weapons in the game as it’s got a lot of the R-99’s speed and hits as hard as a Flatline or a Rampage.
It turns out that the R-301 Carbine is not limited to Apex Legends though, as the Season 10 favorite can also be created in Warzone too.
It’s not a perfect recreation, but thanks to a post in the MWLoadouts subreddit, one user was able to create something that would make you look twice.
Warzone “Apex Legends R-301 Carbine” ISO SMG loadout
- Barrel: FSS Nightshade
- Optic: G.I Mini Reflex
- Stock: FORGE Tac Stalker
- Ammunition: 30 Round Mags
- Rear Grip: FTAC Elite ISO Grip
Aesthetically speaking, this loadout certainly does make the ISO SMG look like the R-301 and would be a perfect body double for it.
Is it going to be the most practical loadout in the world to earn you lots of Warzone dubs? Probably not.
At the end of the day, this loadout is going to be a bit of fun for you to use, it’s something different, and whilst it’s not one of Warzone’s best guns in the game, it adds some welcome novelty to the game.

JGOD explains why the OTs 9 is still Warzone’s best SMG
Raven nerfed the OTs 9 in the September 15 update, but JGOD believes it is still the best SMG for Warzone players to use.
Close-range SMG’s are a go-to for many Warzone players in Season 5, and the OTs 9 and Cold War MP5 are the two most popular. CoD expert JGOD has explained why the OTs is still the top dog, despite its recent nerf.
Warzone Season 5 is starting to wind down ahead of Season 6. But many players are still on the hunt to find the perfect loadout to fit this season’s meta.
SMGs are perfect for close-range combat thanks to their blistering fire rate and mobility, making them an ideal secondary for a Sniper class.
In a recent upload to his channel, JGOD extensively tested the OTs and the Cold War MP5 – the two most popular SMGs in Warzone Season 5.
In the recent nerf to the OTs, Raven Software reduced the weapon’s damage, increased the recoil, and buffed its headshot multiplier.
But despite this, the YouTuber has urged players to stick with it using the following loadout, which is focused on buffing the time-to-kill (TTK).
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
- Barrel: 8.1” Task Force
- Ammunition: VDV 40 Rnd Fast Mag
- Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap
- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
To come to this conclusion, JGOD compared everything from the TTK to the strafe speed of both weapons and collected the data in the spreadsheet pictured below.
The MP5 came out on top in many of the key areas such as damage per mag and movement speed. However, the OTs has a couple of tricks up its sleeve that the Warzone expert believes give it the edge.
He says that the impressive reload time, recoil control, strafe speeds, and iron sights are what make the OTs the best SMG in the game. In these areas, it dominates the MP5, while the Cold War weapon only just wins its categories.
JGOD argues that paired with the loadout that buffs the TTK, the OTs is easier to handle, does more than enough damage, and allows for an insane amount of movement.
The recoil control, in particular, is what makes this gun ideal for controller players, as it can be far tougher to keep shots in check on than with a mouse and keyboard.
That was JGOD’s explanation on why the OTs 9 is still the king of the Warzone SMGs.
