Warzone players are furious as Raven confirms Armored Tanks in Season 2
The Call of Duty developers confirmed new vehicles called Armored War Machines for Warzone Pacific Season 2, and this announcement has not been received well by fans.
Warzone Pacific Season 2 is set to bring a plethora of exciting new content for players to enjoy, including new vehicles known as Armored War Machines that are likely similar to tanks and will be arriving on Caldera.
These vehicles have been featured on the new season’s key art, and while their exact impact isn’t currently clear, the announcement of their arrival has been met with heavy criticism from the Warzone community.
The Call of Duty Twitter account shared a promotional image for Warzone Pacific Season 2 showcasing the game’s new Armored War Machines, and players were quick to slam the developers in the replies.
Most of the complaints stemmed from the fact that Caldera is currently filled with glitches and one tweet claimed that if these aren’t fixed first then there will be “severe and relentless backlash.”
One user replied: “With all the issues this game has, in what world would anyone want Armored War Machines in this already broken game? Does anyone actually listen to the community?”
Console players have also faced performance issues when dropping into Caldera, with players and popular content creators like JGOD voicing their frustration with the current state of the game.
Another user stated that they wanted fixes for the buy station glitch, rendering problems, and bugs, as well as FOV on the console version of the game, so adding an Armored War Machine isn’t going to get rid of those issues.
Warzone Pacific Season 2 is set to bring a plethora of changes, and the update was delayed to fix some of the game’s most pressing issues, so we might see some of these problems resolved.
Another user was more optimistic: “You guys were purposely vague with the S1 roadmap because you were most likely ashamed. If half the S2 rumors are true, y’all are going to be okay. Just drop the damn roadmap.”
At the time of writing, it remains to be seen whether these vehicles will be a permanent addition or will just stay for a limited time, but players will find it hard to enjoy them if the game is still filled with bugs.
Alongside Armored War Machines, a few leaks point to the arrival of a new Bomber Plane in Warzone Pacific Season 2, so the addition of these new vehicles could mean that the developers have something big planned.
