Warzone players are still glitching underneath Verdansk ’84

Since Warzone’s May 7 update, Season 3 players have returned to glitching underneath the map at Stadium, Train Station, and more.

Despite multiple patches from Raven Software, Warzone players are still managing to glitch under locations in Verdansk ’84, such as Train Station and Stadium.

Verdansk ’84 has provided a fresh and exciting change to Call of Duty’s battle royale, but the new Warzone map suffered from various ‘under the map’ exploits. For the first week of the game, Airport, Stadium, and Train Station were no-go areas as cheaters would be hiding underground for a cheap kill.

Players use gaps found in the ground and in walls to get underneath the map, and while they’re underground, they can see and shoot upwards to take out players unlucky enough to stumble above them. The problem appears to have resurfaced since the most recent update.

Raven Software was quick to acknowledge the problem, fixing the worst offenders on April 28. There were still some more glitch spots dotted around the map, so they promised “a second round of fixes.”

These fixes were applied on May 7, in which Raven said they “Fixed additional map locations in Verdansk that allowed players to reach out-of-bounds areas.” They also confirmed these fixes to be on top of those already applied on April 28.

However, the most recent patch appears to have reversed their hard work. Since Warzone’s May 7 update, players have returned to glitching their way underneath Stadium and Airport, and perhaps other locations too.

The Warzone subreddit has been filled with players reporting the problem over the weekend, and it’s gotten so bad that squads are avoiding the areas entirely. One Reddit user said that “Everyone by now should really know to generally stay away from Stadium altogether. Every game there’s gonna be someone there.”

Raven Software have kept the card acknowledging the issue on their Trello board, and although the “fix released” label is still applied, they also have “investigating” and “monitoring” tagged.

It appears that Raven Software is still monitoring the issue, and will likely be quick to apply the correct fix. Until then, we can only suggest reporting any offenders you encounter and avoid Stadium and Train Station until another fix is confirmed to be released.

Warzone is so broken on Xbox consoles that players can’t even open the game

Warzone’s Pacific update has caused a ton of bugs and glitches for Xbox users and now, they can’t even launch of the game.

Warzone Pacific Season 1 breathed new life into Call of Duty’s battle royale, but a constant slew of bugs and glitches have ruined the experience for many. It’s now got so bad that Xbox players can’t even launch the game.

Fed up with Verdansk and a stale meta, Warzone players were desperate for the game to finally move to Caldera and introduce all of Vanguard’s weapons. However, it’s been far from smooth sailing, as the update broke Modern Warfare and introduced some of the most game-breaking glitches Warzone has ever seen.

Warzone’s developers have confirmed they’re working hard to get the game back on track, but for Xbox players, change can’t come soon enough. A recent update has completely locked some Xbox players out, preventing them from even launching the game.

Unfortunately, Xbox players appear to have got the short end of the stick with Warzone’s Pacific update. There’s a bug forcing Xbox players to have a Gold Subscription to play, they’ve lost access to the 120 FPS mode, and now, they can’t even launch the game.

Xbox players are reporting that they’ve been trapped in an endless loop of restarts when trying to launch Warzone. Reddit user Darknesgamer36 shows that after getting through the ‘Connecting to Xbox Live’ screen, Warzone reboots itself and they need to go through it again and again.

Darknesgamer36 isn’t alone, with several players saying they’ve been getting the exact same issue. Ramuh-DH said it happens to “nearly everyone on xbox consoles.”

Other Xbox players have reported different, but equally frustrating, issues. They’ve said the game constantly crashes, their guns go invisible, and they can’t join their friends.

One user said that it took “literally 56 minutes to get in one game,” and if they went back to the main menu at any point, the problem returned. Another user said that whenever they tried to queue into a match, “it would kick whoever wasn’t host and restarted the game every time.”

There appears to be a temporary solution, though: don’t touch the Xbox button on the controller while Warzone is open. Warzone devs have actually acknowledged this on their Trello board, saying they’re investigating an issue where “pressing the Xbox home button twice while in-game may cause instability.”

But, this likely won’t help those players who can’t even launch Warzone in the first place. Raven have several cards for Xbox issues on their Trello board, so hopefully, Xbox players will have the same experience as everyone else soon.

Warzone players claim new RICOCHET anti-cheat measure nerfs damage

Warzone hackers are convinced that a new RICHOCHET anti-cheat measure completely nerfs damage for players with inhuman accuracy.

Warzone players are convinced that a new RICOCHET anti-cheat measure is actively nerfing damage for players with extremely high accuracy.

Warzone’s RICOCHET anti-cheat has had hackers begging for a second chance, but some have still been slipping through the cracks. It appears that alongside targeting cheat providers directly, Activision has included a new system to make hackers far less of a nuisance.

A screenshot reportedly from a cheat provider’s Discord shows that hackers are convinced that a backend anti-cheat change is causing cheaters’ damage to be “reduced by a lot.”

Usually, a Warzone account suspected of cheating receives a shadowban before the hammer is dropped. After receiving a ton of reports in a short space of time, these accounts are placed in their own matchmaking system where it’s nearly impossible to find a game.

Now, it appears RICOCHET’s anti-cheat system is looking directly at cheater’s stats and imposing a harsh punishment. According to an update from a cheat provider, they believe RICOCHET directly nerfs damage for players with high accuracy, making it “very hard to kill people.”

Rather than getting banned, these cheaters would have to run around the map tickling players with low-damage bullets, allowing the honest players to have the upper hand for once.

And it seems the punishment lasts a while, as the cheat provider said “The flag persists even when you aren’t using cheats.” They said it could even be permanent, but aren’t sure yet.

They also believe this affects “all aimbot cheats” including “internal cheats, external cheats, even controller scripts and Cronus.” They clarified that “if your accuracy is too good to be human then you will be flagged.”

While players were delighted to see hackers get their comeuppance, some were worried that this would target legit players too. One player called it “scary” that Activision can implement a system that can actively change players’ damage, and wondered if it “only applies to real cheaters.”

Warzone pros have claimed that low K/D players receive better accuracy in the past, so there could be a link between the two claims. But, it’s likely that RICOCHET’s developers will play their cards close to their chest to keep cheat providers guessing.

Best type 11 loadout warzone pacific

The Bren received a nerf in a recent Warzone update and players are now turning to the Type 11 as a potential long-range alternative. Here are all of the attachments and Perks you need to create the best Type 11 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 1.

Warzone Pacific Season 1’s mid-season update is live, bringing a ton of meta-changing buffs and nerfs to balance Warzone weapons.

The Bren was the undisputed number one long-range weapon in Warzone Pacific as of late but a recent nerf may change that. Although the Bren is still a powerful option, players have been quick to explore other weapons including the Type 11.

Here are all of the attachments and Perks you’ll need to get the most out of this mighty LMG.

Best Warzone Type 11 loadout attachments

Type 11 Vanguard LMG
  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Barrel: Sakura 487mm Shrouded
  • Optic: G16 2.5x
  • Stock: Warubachi Type 33
  • Underbarrel: m1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 5.6mm 45 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Grooved Grip
  • Perk: Brace
  • Perk: Fully Loaded

The Bren deals more damage than the Type 11, but the Type 11 has the Bren beat when it comes to ADS speed, movement speed, and strafe ability in 1 vs 1 gunfights.

Recoil control and aiming stability are vital for long-range weapons and the Warabuchi Type 33, Grooved Grip, and the Sakura 487mm Shrouded barrel make this weapon a laser beam. Distant targets will go down with ease thanks to the G16 2.5x optic.

The Brace proficiency will also increase accuracy and recoil control while Fully Loaded will set you up with enough ammo to tackle large squads. Rest assured, the 5.6mm 45 Round Mags will not leave you short on ammo and it is preferred over the 90 Round Mags due to the added recoil control.

The Mercury Silencer will further boost recoil control while Lengthened will increase bullet velocity which is a must for players who venture into Caldera. Finally, the m1941 Hand Stop is yet another attachment that will make this massive LMG easier to control in long-range battles.

Best Warzone Type 11 Perks & Equipment

Warzone perks
  • Perk 1: Cold-Blooded
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical: Stim

Before you switch to Ghost, you’ll want to opt for Overkill on your first loadout to pair this long-range killing machine with a close-range option. The PPSH and MP40 are two viable options in that category.

Cold-Blooded will keep you safe from the abundance of enemies who use Combat Scout, while Amped will have you switching between your heavy LMG and close-range SMG with ease.

The Throwing Knife and Stim equipment combination is currently the most popular set in Warzome thanks to the new Stim buff.

How to unlock Type 11 in Warzone Pacific

Shigenori Ota with Type 11 Vanguard

If you haven’t played Vanguard, unlocking the Type 11 in Warzone will require some considerable time unless you’re a frequent player. You will need to reach Level 37 before the LMG is accessible.

You may want to take advantage of the upcoming Double XP event across Warzone and Vanguard to unlock the required Type 11 attachments.

Best alternatives to Warzone Type 11

Of course, the Bren is an obvious choice for Warzone players even after a recent nerf but you might also want to explore the Automaton. After dominating Warzone Pacific’s early days, many players believe it’ll make a return following the mid-season update.

You can also turn to the MG42 if you’re looking to stay within the LMG category.
