Warzone players revealed that a Modern Warfare exclusive LTM is at the top of their wish list leading up to Modern Warfare 2’s October 28 release.

Since the start of Season 4 Reloaded, Warzone players have been vocal about wanting to return to Verdansk one last time before the focus shifts to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. While this massive map overhaul is unlikely to occur in Warzone Season 5, players seem willing to compromise.

One aspect of early Verdansk that players enjoyed the most was the reliance on Modern Warfare weapons. Compared to Cold War and Vanguard weapons, MW weapons bring an appealing sense of nostalgia to the table.

Prior to the release of Modern Warfare 2, players want to see MW weapons return to the spotlight with a new Warzone LTM.

When Vanguard weapons made their way to Warzone, the devs delivered a special Vanguard Royale LTM that excluded weapons from Modern Warfare and Cold War. In this LTM, players could only rely on Vanguard weapons and Equipment.

Now, players are asking for a version of the same LTM but with a Modern Warfare twist. It’s no surprise that players favor the Modern Warfare era of Warzone and this LTM would give them a chance to relive some fond memories.

The hypothetical Warzone Pacific LTM would give players a chance to get excited about Modern Warfare content without having to return to Verdansk.

Players in the comments of a Reddit post agreed that the likelihood of receiving such an LTM was extremely low, but some expanded on the idea of separating each title and its weapons into three playlists: “It’s a shame though, I would love if they did a single-game BR rotation between Vanguard, Cold War, and MW19.”

The majority of players insisted that “If it isn’t promoting their new game, they won’t do it.”

However, one reply suggested that putting the focus back on Modern Warfare weapons with an exclusive LTM would actually help promote Modern Warfare 2, which is slated to release on October 28: “To be fair, doing MW would help hype up MWII.”

It remains to be seen what Raven has planned for Warzone’s swansong in Season 5. Although a Modern Warfare exclusive LTM across Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Fortune’s Keep is unlikely, players will keep their fingers crossed.
