Warzone players are asking the developers to change a feature of Rebirth Island’s spawning to ensure a more balanced experience.
As players can respawn teammates by staying alive and getting eliminations, weaponry is essential, as is landing in a good spot. With that being said, some players have called for the devs to change the spawn loot to make the experience more balanced.
In Rebirth Island, players drop in on a small reconstruction of Alcatraz Island, which means the action is at all corners, so players must be prepared. Upon landing, players will receive a random starting pistol, which could be the 1911, Diamatti, or even a Renetti.
Some players have been expressing their discomfort with this feature on Reddit, explaining how unbalanced it is for players to fight against others off spawn who may have a much better starting pistol.
As most experienced Warzone players know, the starting pistols aren’t the best weapons in the game.
However, some of them, like the Renetti and the Diamatti, can actually be very powerful, especially when compared to the other pistols in the game.
This is an issue players have currently have and have had since Rebirth Island was introduced. Reddit user PillowcaseDestroyer made a post on the issue, which has since caught some attention, with many agreeing with the complaints.

The player says, “I made a post about this before, but it is seriously illogical for some teams to have the renetti at spawn, others 1911. The Renetti is superior to any other spawn pistol. Spawn pistols should always always be the same across all players in the lobby.”
This was met by comments of agreement, with another user also stating, “I have been rambling about this to my team endlessly since day 1 of Rebirth. I don’t mind there being different starter pistols, but it shouldn’t be different pistols in the same games. It’s alright if one game, everyone starts with X16s, next game is Renettis then M19s and so on.”
This would undoubtedly make Rebirth Island’s spawn fights much more balanced, as no one is put at an advantage if everyone in the lobby has the same starting pistol, even if it rotates for different lobbies.
Although it may seem like a fairly minor issue, hopefully, the devs can catch onto this and make the Rebirth Island experience more enjoyable. For more, check out our recent article on when Call of Duty: Vanguard will be revealed.

Best ZRG 20mm loadout for CoD: Warzone Season 4
You can equip a few select attachments and perks to the ZRG 20mm Sniper Rifle to make the best Warzone ZRG loadout for Season 4 of the battle royale.
The ZRG 20mm is an extremely powerful Sniper Rifle, and we’ll go over the best Warzone ZRG loadout to enhance its capabilities for Season 4 of the Call of Duty battle royale.
It always helps to keep your enemies at a distance when battling it out on either Verdansk ’84 or Rebirth Island. Call of Duty: Warzone has a wide collection of Sniper Rifles to choose from, and the ZRG 20mm definitely worth your consideration.
This weapon arrived in Black Ops Cold War on April 7. It boasts an extremely high bullet velocity and is capable of dishing out large amounts of damage. Here are the best attachments and perks to make the best Warzone ZRG loadout for Season 4 Reloaded.
Best Warzone ZRG loadout
Best Warzone ZRG loadout attachments
- Muzzle: Task Force Shroud
- Barrel: 43.9″ Combat Recon
- Ammo: 5 RND magazine
- Handle: Serpent Wrap
- Optic: Variable Zoom Scope
The ZRG 20mm’s bullet velocity and damage make it capable of one-shot killing opponents during long-range encounters. However, it has the slowest rate of fire in the game. So, this loadout will focus on maximizing its effective damage range.
We’ll start with the Task Force Shroud muzzle to further improve the bullet velocity while decreasing your ADS speed. This will ultimately improve the effective damage range of the gun, making it a powerhouse in long-range combat.
Next, we’ll go with the Serpent Wrap handle to get back some of the weapon’s ADS speed at the cost of some Sprint to Fire time. However, you won’t have to worry about that too much when using a sniper rifle.
The 5 RND magazine will add a couple of extra rounds to the weapon’s default magazine. This way you won’t have to worry about reloading as often in the midst of combat, which means you’ll be less vulnerable.
Finally, we’ll cap off the best Warzone ZRG loadout with the Variable Zoom Scope, as it’s going to prove useful across different distances when playing on a large map like Rebirth Island. Despite this, you can pick whichever scope you want.
Best Perks to use with Warzone ZRG 20mm class
- Perk 1 – E.O.D.
- Perk 2 – Overkill/Ghost
- Perk 3 – Amped
Having extra protection against explosives is never a bad thing, so using E.O.D. will allow you to not suffer as much lost health when getting by the likes of a Semtex or C4 in what could be the difference between living or being eliminated.
The ZRG is an extremely deadly weapon at long distances, but you will need a suitable secondary weapon to use in close-quarters and medium-distance engagements. Using Overkill will allow you to have an Assault Rifle or SMG with you in addition to this sniper.
You can then pick up Ghost from a second loadout drop to stop showing up on enemy mini-maps when they use UAVs or appearing on their Heartbeat Sensors.
Players using this sniper rifle will notice that it is extremely heavy and can cause your character to take some time to switch between it and your secondary. Amped will speed up your weapon swap speed and help you avoid getting eliminated because you could not switch weapons in time.
How to unlock the ZRG 20mm
To get this weapon for the best Warzone ZRG loadout, you’ll need to complete a challenge that requires you to “Earn 2 Longshot medals in 10 different matches using Sniper Rifles.” The gun is available in Black Ops Cold War as well.
You’ll need to be careful about leaving the match too early after earning 2 Longshot Medals, as it might not count. For a more detailed walkthrough, you can check out our guide on unlocking the ZRG 20MM.
The LW3 Tundra is another great Sniper Rifle that comes with impressive bullet velocity, making it ideal for picking off enemies from a distance. You can also try out the M82 as a viable alternative to the best Warzone ZRG loadout.

CouRageJD reveals the one thing that makes Apex Legends better than Warzone
Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop went on Twitter to explain what one key Apex Legends feature makes it more fun than Warzone.
100 Thieves co-owner Jack ‘CouRage’ Dunlop is boldly claiming that Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends has one key feature that makes it “way better” than Warzone.
Now, the 100 Thieves co-owner CouRageJD has made his stance in this rivalry abundantly clear. He boldly stated that Apex Legends is leagues ahead of Warzone due to one major reason.
CouRageJD has described himself as “the greatest Wraith player in the history of Apex Legends,” and mentioned how much more fun that game is than Warzone because of the Ranked lobbies.
“New Apex Legends season about to drop, Ranked mode is so fun,” he tweeted. “Ranked arenas about to release, new legend coming, and huge balance patch about to happen.”
The 100 Thieves star then called Apex Legends the “best battle royale available.” Aside from the Ranked mode, he also complimented the clear love for the game that the Apex community has.
“Warzone has had its ups and downs, and I love Apex Legends,” said CouRageJD. “I’ve always had a soft spot for it. I was at the venue when it launched! There’s such a dedicated community, it’s crazy.”
Perhaps, this will encourage the Warzone developers to take inspiration from Apex’s Ranked Leagues. Respawn will implement the cable car feature from Warzone in Apex Legends Season 10.

Viral TikTok proves Warzone’s Ghost Perk is completely bugged in Season 4
A viral TikTok has revealed that Warzone’s Ghost Perk is broken in Season 4, as it doesn’t always hide players from UAVs.
It appears that there’s a major issue with Warzone’s Ghost Perk after a viral TikTok from streamer Jessie Cooks showcased the Perk failing in a Twitch Rivals event.
Over Warzone’s life, it’s suffered from a host of bugs and issues. Not only are there cheaters, but the invisibility glitch returned several times and players even found a way to enter the Gulag and kill its combatants. Now, it appears the Ghost Perk doesn’t always work.
Ghost is one of Warzone’s few meta perks. It completely hides you from UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors, which is vital to winning a game of Warzone. However, there is recent evidence that the Ghost Perk can fail, still showing you on a UAV.
While the Ghost Perk is supposed to completely hide you from UAVs, a clip from Warzone streamer Jessie Cooks appears to prove that this isn’t always the case. While playing in a Twitch Rivals Custom Lobby, they equipped Ghost, yet were still hunted down after appearing on an opposing team’s UAV.
“We died to Huskerrs, JoeWoe and Mutex in Twitch Rivals [because] ghost doesn’t work,” Jessie shared on July 28 alongside a TikTok which provided the evidence.
In the video, Jessie Cooks and her team all grabbed their loadouts, clearly equipping the Ghost Perk. About a minute later, HusKerr’s team popped a UAV and could clearly see Jessie’s team on it. After hunting them down, JoeWoe made quick work of her by using the UAV’s information to throw a perfectly placed stun.
This TikTok went viral, catching the attention of analytical Warzone YouTuber JGOD, who said that “it makes no sense.” After watching all POVs and agreeing that Ghost should have worked, he suggested that it’s “likely a private match bug.”
A small streamer, Fabes_O, replied to JGOD with evidence that it “happens in pubs too.” They uploaded a clip showing the UAV sweep the Bounty circle but no red dots appeared. But as they approached, the team suddenly showed up on the minimap. Fabes_O was eliminated by them, and the killcam proved that the player did indeed have Ghost.

Raven Software hasn’t acknowledged this bug yet, but it’s gained enough traction online that it’s likely to be on their radar.
