Warzone players are calling for the developers to return a particular feature of the Plunder game mode.
With Call of Duty: Vanguard on the way, which will integrate with Warzone and bring new content for the battle royale lovers, players are gearing up for its release and continuing to have fun on Verdansk.
However, some fans of the Warzone Plunder game mode are disappointed with the developers changing a particular feature which many enjoyed about the mode.
The Warzone Plunder mode is very different from the battle royale, as it allows players to respawn into the map and fight it out to gain the most amount of cash.
This game mode gives players a break from the intensity of battle royale and allows them to have some fun with the game, knowing they will be able to respawn when playing Warzone Plunder.
One feature players loved about Warzone Plunder was the ability to change your weapon loadout mid-game, which was great for those who wanted to try out and level up different weapons in one game.
Reddit user Lifeesstwange expressed their opinion on this change: “Please put back the ability to adjust loadouts mid-game in plunder.”
Previously in Warzone Plunder, players could adjust loadouts in-game, allowing them to try out different perks, attachments, and builds for weapons. This was great, especially as there is no other way players can try out loadouts in real-time.
“Why in the world did they take this out? Since they refuse to put a firing range in for build testing, we now have no way to test kits in real-time and adjust.
One comment suggests it may have been removed due to players finding exploits through the feature: “My impression is they did it because someone figured out ways to exploit bugs through it. And they haven’t figured out (or had time) to close the loophole(s) there.”
This was the case, as the developers did previously remove the ability to edit loadouts in-game for Warzone Season 4 due to an exploit that was allowing players to get camos and blueprints.
These wishes were granted on August 23 when the loadout edit feature was added back into Plunder, much to the delight of players who will now be able to change what they are using without leaving a Plunder match.

Warzone devs confirm 120Hz returns to Xbox Series consoles soon
Xbox Series consoles can no longer run Warzone at 120FPS, but Raven Software have confirmed the fix is coming very soon.
Xbox Series consoles haven’t supported 120FPS on Warzone since December, locking the game at 60FPS. Players have been desperate for it to return, and Raven Software have confirmed that 120Hz is coming back very soon.
While Warzone Pacific brought a brand-new map and has continued to bring a number of major quality of life updates, console players have been suffering from stuttering and textures failing to load. While PlayStation 5 players can enjoy the game at 120FPS, Xbox Series players lost the ability with the Season 1 update and have been stuck playing at 60FPS ever since.
In a pre-Warzone Season 3 interview with CharlieIntel, Raven Software’s Senior Creative Director Ted Timmins reaffirmed that they “absolutely want” to bring 120 FPS back to Xbox Series consoles, and have now confirmed that it’s coming back very soon.
When is 120FPS coming back to Warzone on Xbox Series X?
Raven Software announced on May 20 that 120Hz will be returning to Xbox Series X|S consoles with the Season 3 Reloaded update, which is set for Wednesday, May 25.
Raven’s Ted Timmins confirmed they were aware on December 12 and were looking into the issue, but when speaking to us ahead of Warzone Pacific Season 3, they said it’s a “very complex” issue that’s “still being investigated.”
It appears this issue has now been resolved, with the devs confirming that it will arrive with Season 3 Reloaded which they hope “will make for an even more enjoyable experience in Caldera!”
In the same interview, Timmins also confirmed that the team is “working as hard as they can” to resolve other console performance issues. While things are looking positive, they are grateful to see the videos and screenshots that the community sends in.

5. Einhorn Revolving
When Warzone Pacific introduced Vanguard weapons to Warzone, the Einhorn Revolving was a truly terrifying sight. However, the powerful Incendiary ammo eventually got nerfed in Season 1 knocking its viability down.
It’s a shame that the Incendiary Ammunition attachment received a considerable nerf but the Shotgun is still powerful enough to crack the top 5 on its own merit.
4. Combat Shotgun
While it looked like the Double Barrel would be Vanguard’s best Shotgun, a Season 1 nerf ended its chances of ranking on top. This opened the door for a different weapon and in Season 3 the Combat Shotgun is Vanguard’s best.
For starters, the damage output of this weapon is absolutely ridiculous and it will surely dominate in tight spaces. Whether you’re clearing Caldera’s various buildings or running across Rebirth Island, the Combat Shotgun is one of the best available.
The Combat Shotgun outclasses the Einhorn Revolving thanks to a faster reload time as well as the luxury of equipping 10 Round Drums.
3. Gallo SA12
Reminiscent of the fan-favorite SPAS-12 from the original Black Ops, the Gallo SA12 packs a punch in all indoor situations.
The Gallo SA12 is so powerful that it was banned from Warzone tournaments. While this was way back in Season 5, it still packs a punch in Pacific Season 3.
It’s especially powerful in solos, as it’ll take out an individual player in only a couple of shots. Thanks to its excellent range it’s also a great option across Caldera.
Introduced in Black Ops Cold War Season 1, the Streetsweeper is an automatic Shotgun that’s deadly up close.
This weapon will allow you to take out whole teams at close range, and with how fast it expells bullets, you’ll get off several shots before they even know what’s happening. Just be careful of the Streetsweeper’s reload time, however, as it’s exceptionally slow.
1. JAK-12 – best Shotgun in Warzone
Although relatively unpopular, the JAK-12 is an excellent weapon for taking out full squads in the blink of an eye. It has one of the greatest disparities between a pick rate of 0.29% and a K/D of 1.20 in Season 3. This proves that it is massively underrated, and even top players are frustrated by how powerful it is.
Modern Warfare’s JAK-12 acts very similarly to Cold War’s Streetsweeper but has the advantage of a much faster reload. In addition, it was also proven to be the fastest-killing close-range weapon available in Warzone at the moment.
If you plan on pushing buildings with a whole squad camping inside, the JAK-12 could be the perfect Shotgun for you.

Warzone 2 reportedly set to introduce bag system & new armor vest mechanic
Renowned leaker Tom Henderson claims that Warzone 2 could introduce a bag system for looting as well as a new armor vest mechanic.
Industry insider Tom Henderson claims that Warzone 2 could introduce players to a bag system for looting purposes much like Escape from Tarkov. The same report also suggests that the sequel will come with a new way to store armor.
On May 20, Tom Henderson published a Warzone 2 report which revealed various details that could be coming to the battle royale. While players are already excited by leaks of classic MW2 maps being involved in Warzone 2, they also got word of the potential inclusion of Pro Perks.
Henderson’s report highlighted several exciting new features that are rumored to make their way to Warzone 2. Among these new features is a bag system for looting as well as armor vests that are similar to what players had in Black Ops 4’s Blackout.
Warzone 2 rumored armor vests explained
It seems the devs have decided to combine the current armor system in Warzone with the previous armor system in Blackout. In Blackout, players were tasked with searching for one of three levels of body armor that would increase their overall health.
According to Henderson, “players will need to find a tiered armor vest in order to equip armor plates,” in Warzone 2. If leaks are true, players can expect both armor plates and a version of body armor, aka armor vests, in Warzone 2.
The report claims that there will be three tiers of armor vests, and each tier will hold one more armor plate than the previous tier. Furthermore, “your armor vest does not break, but your armor plates do.” These claims suggest that plating in Warzone 2 will abide by a similar structure to the familiar Warzone system.
Bag system reportedly coming to Warzone 2
Another interesting aspect of the report was the suggestion that Warzone 2 could adopt a bag system, with similar functionality to that of Escape from Tarkov’s. Henderson stresses that the bag system is in early development and far from finished as a new feature.
Once again, it seems there will be different bag tiers, with the higher tiers carrying more loot. Rumors suggest that bags could carry killstreaks, ammo, and weapons, making them a vital aspect of surviving until the endgame.
Here’s a rough example from Henderson’s report detailing how the bag system could work:
“Example of how the Bag System works (not accurate numbers).
- Ammo – Takes up 1 Slot
- Killstreaks – Takes up 4 Slots (2 by 2)
- Assault Rifle – Takes up 6 Slots (2 by 3)
- Sniper Rifle – Takes up 8 Slots (2 by 4)
- Tier 1 Bag – 10 Slots (2 by 5)
- Tier 2 Bag – 15 Slots (3 by 5)
- Tier 3 Bag – 20 Slots (4 by 5)”
Based on the size of the bag, players will have to strategically decide which items to carry. In addition, those familiar with Tarkov will know that you can flip items to allow for maximum storage space within the bag. Henderson claims that “at this moment in time, you cannot “flip” weapons to add to your bag as they can only be placed horizontally.”
With several of these features drawing from Blackout, it’s no surprise that Henderson suggested Warzone 2’s map is more like Blackout than Verdansk or Caldera.
