Warzone players call for “overpowered” suppressors to be nerfed

Some Warzone players are calling for the developers to nerf suppressors in order to balance out the muzzel attachments in Season 4.

In Warzone Season 4, suppressors definitely run the show when it comes to essential attachments for your loadouts, but some players are asking for a change.

Warzone Season 4 introduced a variety of changes to weapon balancing and even attachments, like the Krig 6 getting a buff to one of its barrels.

Like every season, not every player is satisfied with the changes. Aside from bugs and glitches, some players also want further balancing to the suppressors in Warzone Season 4, especially the Monolithic and Agency ones.

Warzone suppressors

Since the start of Warzone, suppressors have always been a handy attachment along with the perk Ghost. The ability to stay off the radar while firing and when the enemy has a UAV is essential in Warzone, as staying hidden is key to victory.

Like the Monolithic one from Modern Warfare and the Agency Suppressor from Black Ops Cold War, the best suppressors in Warzone will do more than keep you off the map but also boost your weapons stats, like damage range and bullet velocity.

One player shared their opinion on this over on Reddit, proposing a change for how suppressors operate.

“Overpowered” Warzone suppressors

Reddit user Fractales put up a post with the caption “What if Silencers were actually balanced?”

The post went into details about how players have to use silencers, not just because everyone else is using them and stying off the map, but also because of the stat boost they give you:

“There’s no reason to not run a silencer. Either mono or regular. Both give significant stat boosts as well as remove you from the mini-map when firing.”

Fractales proposed that Raven Software remove the stat boosts and just make suppressors take you off the mini-map when firing, so that players would have to decide between stealth or a weapon boost:

“But, what if we made removing you from the mini-map the ONLY benefit of the silencer? Then other muzzle attachments could fill the role of stat boosters. Suddenly, there’s a decision to be made between staying off the mini-map and getting stat boosts to your weapon.”

It seems other players also agreed in the comments, with one user stating that “they’re [suppressors] definitely done backwards. You get sooooo many bonuses for being suppressed. Suppression should be the bonus, you should get all the other extras if you run un-suppressed.”

It would be an interesting change, and perhaps the developers will want to stay true to what they have created rather than make such a drastic change in Season 4 of Warzone, as a change like this is likely to bring on its own set of complaints.

Raven Software hasn’t commented on the topic, unlike the Nail Gun situation, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated if anything changes.

Operators fighting Kong in Warzone Pacific

Warzone players have discovered a clever healing trick that allows them to quickly regenerate their health and armor in the Operation Monarch event.

Warzone Pacific Season 3’s Godzilla vs Kong event brought a plethora of new content for players to enjoy, including the new Operation Monarch LTM, S.C.R.E.A.M. Device killstreak, as well as Godzilla, Kong, and Mechagodzilla Operator bundles.

This event grants you the opportunity to quickly level up weapons while earning free rewards, and players have found a useful trick that allows them to quickly fill up health and shields in Operation Monarch.

How to fill health and shields in Warzone’s Operation Monarch

Warzone scream device killstreak

You can battle Godzilla and Kong during the Warzone Operation Monarch event, and players have found that dealing damage to these monsters can instantly regenerate your health and shields.

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Hop into a game of Warzone during Operation Monarch
  2. Find Godzilla or Kong
  3. Fire at them until your health and shields regenerate

This trick will help you out during tough times when your health and armor plating have been almost completely depleted. Reddit user ‘Similar-Arugula-7854’ showed this in action in the Warzone subreddit.

While this seems like a promising trick that will help when you’re overwhelmed in battle, it’s worth keeping in mind that Godzilla and Kong can both be dangerous, especially after entering the Titan Frenzy phase.

For that reason, we recommend keeping your distance and shooting at them with long-range weapons. You can also replenish health by picking up Monarch Intel from the dead bodies of your enemies.

FaZe Booya turns Warzone’s AMAX into deadly SMG perfect for Rebirth Island

Warzone pro FaZe Booya has revealed a CR-56 AMAX loadout that turns the Assault Rifle into a deadly SMG ideal for Rebirth Island.

Faze Booya with Warzone AMAX

Warzone pro Ean ‘FaZe Booya’ Chase has shown off his build for the CR-56 AMAX, which he claims turns the Assault Rifle into a close-range SMG perfect for matches on Rebirth Island.

CoD Warzone has no shortage of options when it comes to close-range weapons, from devastating Shotguns like the JAK-12, to blistering SMGs such as the Owen Gun or Welgun.

To compete on Caldera, you’ll likely have to run one of the meta options, but on the more forgiving Rebirth Island there’s far more room to experiment with weird and wonderful builds.

FaZe Clan member ‘Booya’ has shown off a unique loadout that turns the largely forgotten CR-56 AMAX from Modern Warfare into a solid SMG, ideal for Rebirth in Warzone Season 3.

In his May 13 video, Booya outlines a loadout suggested to him by one of his viewers. It makes the AMAX perfect for an aggressive playstyle where players are quickly darting into fights, which suits Rebirth far more than Caldera.

The AMAX already has the damage needed to compete, but the FaZe member describes his build as “really good as a close-range and medium-range SMG,” as opposed to its normal guise as an all-round Assault Rifle.

Check out his complete loadout for the CR-56 AMAX SMG below:

FaZe Booya CR-56 AMAX “SMG” loadout

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Laser: Tac Laser
  • Stock: No Stock
  • Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Mag

Removing the Stock offers the player greater mobility and fasters ADS speeds, allowing them to aggressively push enemy players, while the Tac Laser aids hipfire accuracy, which is again ideal in Rebirth’s close-quarters fights.

The Merc Foregrip keeps some of the recoil in check, allowing the AMAX to hold its own in medium-range engagements as well. This pairs well with the Monolithic Suppressor, which offers a useful boost to the overall damage range.

The enemies come thick and fast on Rebirth Island, so FaZe Booya finishes the setup with 45 Round Mags so you don’t have to worry about reloading after each kill.

By following Booya’s loadout, the CR-56 completely transforms into the perfect Sniper support for Rebirth island. The Warzone pro recommends pairing it with the Kar98k for those situations where you need the extra range.

CR-56 AMAX in Warzone

The CR-56 AMAX is a formidable Assault Rifle, so here are the right attachments, Perks, and equipment that you can use to make the best AMAX loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 3.

The CR-56 AMAX Assault Rifle’s popularity declined when it was nerfed back in Season 2 Reloaded, but the new buffs and nerfs have brought the weapon back to the meta in Warzone Pacific Season 3.

It’s one of the best Assault Rifles in Warzone thanks to its impressive damage and range and you can make it into an absolute powerhouse by equipping the right selection of attachments, Perks, and equipment.

Here’s the best CR-56 AMAX loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 3.

Best Warzone CR-56 AMAX loadout attachments

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: XRK Zodiac S440
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 45 Round Mag

We’ll start off our Warzone CR-56 AMAX by equipping the Monolithic Suppressor muzzle and XRK Zodiac S440 barrel to improve its effective damage range, making it ideal for medium-range combat.

The Commando Foregrip will give a boost to both aiming and recoil stability, at the cost of a little movement speed, and the VLK 3.0x Optic is a great optic choice thanks to its 3.0x magnification.

Finally, we’ll cap off the best Warzone CR-56 AMAX loadout with the 45 Round Mag to ensure that you have enough ammunition to eliminate multiple opponents in both Caldera and Rebirth Island.

Best Perks and Equipment to use with Warzone CR-56 AMAX class

E.O.D perk in Warzone
  • Perk 1: E.O.D
  • Perk 2: Overkill
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal Equipment: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical Equipment: Stims

Enemies will often throw Grenades, Thermites, and other explosives your way in Caldera and Rebirth Island, so we recommend equipping the E.O.D Perk for its protection from explosive damage.

You can pick Overkill as your second Perk in order to pair the CR-56 AMAX with a close-range SMG like the Owen Gun. For your final Perk, you should go with Amped as it allows you to change to your secondary weapon almost instantly.

Equipment-wise, Throwing Knives are a solid option for quick eliminations in tight situations, while Stims give you a much-needed health and speed boost if you find yourself taking too much damage in battle.

How to unlock CR-56 AMAX in Warzone

The CR-56 AMAX is locked behind a challenge that requires you to score 3 gunbutt kills with an Assault Rifle in 10 different matches. This is particularly easy to do in Modern Warfare’s multiplayer game modes.

Alternatively, if you only play Warzone, you can also complete this challenge in the Plunder or Clash modes. Once the conditions have been met, this weapon will be added to your inventory.

Best CR-56 AMAX alternatives in Warzone

If you’re looking for a great alternative to the best Warzone CR-56 AMAX loadout, then you should absolutely try out the XM4 as it’s the best Assault Rifle in Season 3 following Warzone’s May 4 update.

The Vanguard STG44 is another great choice because of its impressive damage, range, and bullet velocity.
