With both Warzone and Apex Legends being extremely popular battle royales, of course, people are going to compare them, with some calling for a feature from Respawn’s game to be added in Warzone.
With the recent news surrounding Apex Legends’ upcoming season, some Warzone players may have been intrigued to check the game out and give it a shot, especially as CouRageJD recently stated that Apex was the best battle royale currently available.
In doing so, players may have noticed differences, not just in gameplay, but also in the stats and recordings of player progression, which some players want for Warzone.
Reddit user and Warzone player Excellent_Pass3746 posted his opinion online of which specific Apex Legends feature they would like to see in Warzone.
The post is entitled “KD should reset every season (Or at least show your KD for each season)”
This is a feature that is currently in Apex Legends, however, it doesn’t reset, it simply shows you your K/D for each season, while also showing your overall K/D from every season combined.
This would be great for Warzone, as then players can look back and see how much they have progressed, while also seeing how much of an effect each season’s K/D has on the overall number.
The argument presented is that players would like to see this progression and improvement, and not be defined by their K/D that got off to a bad start when they were learning the game.
Experienced Call of Duty players may have taken to Warzone much faster then those who are new to the franchise, thus this change would be a nice quality-of-life update for players.
Fans in the comments also agree, as although there are alternatives out there for checking your K/D monthly on Warzone, it “would be nice to have it on the game.”

Apex Legends Season 14 review: Respawn hunt issues with welcomed change
Apex Legends Season 14 has officially arrived, and Respawn have decided to freshen the game up with a variety of welcomed changes.
The Apex Legends Season 14 has been well received among the community, bringing a positive buzz and increase in popularity for Respawn’s Battle Royale as they introduce mass change.
Apex Legends players have had some time to enjoy the new Season 14 update, which has brought a plethora of new content and changes to refresh the Battle Royale.
In the previous season, the popularity of Apex was in decline and players were slightly disappointed with the lack of content and meta changes. Having said that, it seems the community’s experience with Season 13 has influenced the Season 14 update.
With that said, let’s get into our review of Season 14, as it seems the update has brought some excitement back to Apex Legends, despite some minor improvements still being needed.
Apex Legends Season 14 review
Vantage and Echo bring the fun
The Apex Legends Season 14 Legend, Vantage, has introduced a fun and exciting way to play the Battle Royale. Most FPS gamers tend to enjoy a bit of sniping every so often, as the devastating power of the weapon category can make for satisfying gameplay.
This ethos is essentially the idea behind Vantage, as her sniper-focused kit provides unique and exciting gameplay opportunities that players seem to be enjoying according to the Season 14 pick rates.
Combined with the sniper gameplay, her bat companion, Echo, also makes for some great gameplay moments, as Vantage can order Echo around the map and jump to its location.
Both the Sniper’s Mark and Echo Relocation abilities compliment each other extremely well and having the mobility option also means that Vantage can compete with the meta, which is dominated by Legends who have quick relocation/escape tools.
King’s Canyon refreshed with Relic and more
With the Season 14 update, Kings Canyon finally returned to the map rotation, but with some pretty drastic changes.
First off, the brand-new Relic POI is a great location for players to drop hot and battle it out, much like its predecessor, Skulltown. Unlike the chaotic experience that was Skulltown, Relic is more open and provides many more opportunities for players to get loot in the area.
Having said that, it still provides the thrill and excitement of Skulltown, giving players a great POI to land at if they wish to engage right off drop.
Further, Kings Canyon has also had many more minor changes which have greatly helped the map’s flow. Choke points and various other rotations have been tweaked so that players can predict enemy movements better. These changes have helped Kings Canyon become a more formulated experience rather than third-party central.
Buffs & nerfs bring a much-needed meta shift
Apex Legends Season 14 saw a heap of changes in the patch notes, including a variety of buffs and nerfs to both Legends and weapons. Prior to this season, players had been calling for the devs to bring a drastic meta change, and so far, it seems the devs have delivered.
The buffs to Mad Maggie have brought huge ramifications to the overall Legend meta, as Maggie is now an extremely good counter to Gibraltar and various other defensive Legends.
The Valkyrie nerfs have tamed the incredibly popular Recon Legend, bringing her back in line with the rest. Further, the buff to Newcastle has also increased the Legend output greatly, now possessing arguably the best revive in the game.
Weapons saw some pretty huge changes as well, with the Spitfire and Wingman both changing weapon categories. The overall balancing and RNG for weapons found in floor loot feels a lot better than last season, which will have also been influenced by the Replicator and Care Package changes.
Overall, the changes to both weapons and Legends have brought a healthy shift in the meta, giving rise to the more underused Legends in the game and also giving players a reason to use a wider range of Legends thanks to buffs and nerfs.
Despite minor issues with glitches and bugs, Apex Legends Season 14 is a refreshing update that brings fun and excitement back to Respawn’s Battle Royale. The devs are clearly listening to the community as well, providing a wanted quality of life change, ranked changes, and offering more than one way to play with the new Battle Pass challenges.

Apex Legends devs respond to temporary tap strafing removal
Respawn Entertainment have responded to the temporary removal of the tap strafing mechanic from Apex Legends.
Apex Legends players noticed that the tap strafing mechanic was missing during Season 14 for a few hours, and the developers have now responded to this issue after its return.
On August 16, players discovered that the movement mechanic had been removed shortly after receiving an accidental nerf. However, it has now returned and the developers have addressed the issue.
Tap-strafing allows players to quickly change their direction without losing any speed, granting them the opportunity to pull off clever maneuvers and get themselves out of troublesome situations.
However, players reported that they were unable to rotate beyond 90 degrees and were wondering if the devs had nerfed the mechanic. Shortly after these complaints, the mechanic had been removed altogether from Season 14.
After players began speculating whether this was an intentional nerf, Respawn Entertainment responded by confirming that the issues with tap strafing were something they were looking into.
They then later confirmed that they’ve pushed a fix for the problem and that players would be able to use the tap strafe mechanic once again. It returned to the game just a few hours after its removal.
It’s reassuring to know that the developers responded to feedback about the tap strafing issues extremely quickly, and many fans had fun talking about the reaction from the community during its absence.
Apex Legends content creator Thordan Smash tweeted: “Tap strafing went down for 2 hours in Apex Legends and is now back up and PC players went into full meltdown mode. Now I understand the daily aim assist crying.”
This is not the first time that this movement technique has gone missing from the game, as the Apex Legends developers also temporarily removed it back in Season 10 in response to player complaints.

Crazy Apex Legends trick sees Horizon’s Black Hole traveling across the map
A new Apex Legends trick has been discovered with Vantage that allows players to move Horizon’s Black Hole ability around the battlefield.
Apex Legends players have found a brand-new trick with the Season 14 Legend Vantage which allows you to send Horizon’s Black Hole Ultimate flying.
Apex Legends Season 14 launched with a heap of new content and changes for players. An update as big as the seasonal patches in Apex Legends usually means new bugs and glitches, which players found during launch week as characters were given the wrong abilities.
While players get familiar with the new content, sometimes they find interesting exploits and ways to utilize certain in-game items to gain an advantage. This is exactly what players have done with Vantage, finding tricks and tips to best utilize her kit.
The latest trick with Vantage is actually also beneficial to Horizon, as it allows Vantage to move her Ulitmate Black Hole ability around at will.
Vantage is able to send Echo out at a 40-meter range to where she wishes. Of course, this is usually used to relocate, as Vantage can jump towards Echo. However, players have discovered that Echo can actually do more than this, including being able to carry Horizon’s Ultimate while flying around.
An Apex Legends player and content creator by the name of Deus Bass is the one responsible for this trick, finding a way to place Horizon’s Ultimate on top of Vantage’s bat companion, Echo.
Players will need to call the bat to Vantage’s feet and get their Horizon teammate to place the Ultimate on top of Echo.
If players coordinate this trick, it can do some serious work. Usually, it’s fairly easy to avoid Horizon’s Ultimate, as it only covers a small circular area. However, with this, Vantage can order Echo and subsequently the Black Hole wherever the enemies go.
