Warzone players call for this beloved system to return

Warzone is now in its second season since the Black Ops Cold War integration and is missing the “custom mods” option for the Cold War weapons, frustrating players.

Since Warzone’s release, an important feature for players to keep their loadouts consistent is a feature known as “custom weapon mods.” This allows players to create and save custom weapon combinations for fast use when editing classes.

Unfortunately, we are now in the second season of Black Ops Cold War’s Warzone, and this feature has been entirely absent from the game, only offering players the ability to manually customize their Black Ops Cold War loadouts from scratch.

Players are understandably upset about this, with Reddit user Jeroenm20 posting to the CODWarzone subreddit requesting its return to the game.

It doesn’t help that the Black Ops Cold War attachments are quite confusing, so some new players may forget which combinations are the best if they accidentally change weapons in a loadout or even clear a loadout slot.

Even more confusing, this feature actually still exists in-game, but only for Modern Warfare weapons. As pointed out by commenter, prodical, on the Reddit thread, the Black Ops Cold War Warzone merger has been out for 3 months now, and this feature is still missing.

We can fully relate to the frustrations of the community, as remembering the optimal loadout for each weapon can be tedious for most players. While this may be good for players searching for loadouts on YouTube, it definitely isn’t good for player convenience.

Hopefully, Raven adds this feature in the future. When it does, we’ll be sure to update you. Stay in the loop by following us on Twitter @charlieINTEL.
