Warzone Season 3 Reloaded introduced major health increases and the new Serpentine Perk, but players claim these changes have made it too difficult to kill enemies.

Warzone received notable changes with the arrival of the Season 3 Reloaded update, including the arrival of the Serpentine Perk and a major health buff on Rebirth Island.

These changes have had a major impact on the gameplay experience of players, with many in the Warzone community claiming that the Serpentine Perk and health have made things too difficult.

The Serpentine Perk allows players to tank incoming damage from bullets, explosives, and fire while they’re sprinting around the map. Combe this with the health buffs on Rebirth Island, and eliminating opponents has never been more difficult.

Reddit user ‘light-warrior’ shared their frustration with this in the Warzone subreddit, claiming that the difficulty has become “a bit too much.” They then suggested a few adjustments to make the game feel more balanced.

The Redditor stated: “Now, don’t get me wrong, change was needed but I think something should be toned down here. Either reduce health a bit, nerf the Serpentine Perk, or buff some guns so that most of them don’t feel like pea shooters.”

The Redditor made it clear that Rebirth Resurgence did not need changes this extreme, and the developers have made things too challenging. Many of the commenters in the thread agreed with this sentiment.

One user wrote: “Yeah, they went too far. The health increase was enough, but Serpentine makes engagements frustrating and drawn out. Needs a rework for sure.”

A few users singled out Serpentine for being the main reason why the game is so difficult now, claiming that it would be easy to adjust to the health changes if not for the addition of the new Perk.

One player stated: “With Serpentine, you can have no idea how many bullets you can take to drop someone. TTK was too low, but this was a major L as a way of fixing it, in my opinion. I do agree that all the changes to core mechanics make the game feel alien.

Despite the numerous complaints about the health changes and Serpentine Perk, the thread also featured a few players who are enjoying Warzone following the adjustments made in the Season 3 Reloaded update.

One of the commenters wrote: “Personally, I really enjoy the higher TTK as it gives me a chance to move and reposition and try and win a fight that previously would end too fast for me to react.”

At the time of writing, it remains to be seen whether or not Raven Software will respond to these criticisms by adjusting either the Serpentine Perk or the health changes on Rebirth Island. We’ll have to wait for a future update in order to find out.
