Numerous Warzone Pacific players have reported experiencing severe lag which has made the game unplayable after the Season 4 Reloaded update went live.

The Season 4 Reloaded update brought a ton of changes for Warzone Pacific players to explore, including a nerf to the Serpentine Perk as well as the addition of a Terminator crossover.

However, the seasonal update also brought a frustrating problem to the popular Call of Duty title, as reports are coming in of players experiencing lag which makes it impossible to enjoy the game.

When the Season 4 Reloaded update first went live, there were numerous reports of a strange glitch that would cause frame skips and ping spikes. Now players are experiencing another issue in the game.

Reddit user ‘Clip_It_’ claimed that the game has been “unplayable” for a few days and shared a short clip of them experiencing massive lag spikes when playing in the Warzone Pacific subreddit.

In the clip, lag spikes would occur which would cause both the player and his opponents to repeatedly freeze for a few seconds before moving again. The Redditor added that this has been happening in almost every game.

This is a problem that’s also being faced by other players, as a few commenters shared their own recent experiences with the lag spikes. It seems that some Warzone maps are more affected by this than others.

One of the commenters claimed that this issue is more prominent when playing on Caldera, as matches there are “much laggier” compared to those held on the Rebirth Island or Fortune’s Keep maps.

This claim was corroborated by a few other players in the thread, as one of them reported having smooth games on Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island while experiencing terrible lag on Caldera.

The player added: “It’s the same thing for me. I can’t play [Caldera] without it skipping. [I] have never gotten below 90 ping, but can have smooth games on Rebirth and FK.”

The developers have yet to address the lag issues that have popped up in Season 4 Reloaded Hopefully, a fix will be implemented for them in a brand-new Warzone Pacific update patch soon.
