Given the sheer amount of Warzone skins available in the battle royale you may not have noticed that one in particular has completely disappeared from your account.

Warzone‘s selection of Operator skins is truly impressive given the game has been around for over two years. With each season the list of skins continues to grow and Season 5 marked the return of several iconic CoD villains that players will be able to get their hands on.

It’s safe to say that most players own an Operator skin or two that they purchased from a bundle, in addition to the standard Operators in Warzone. Given the abundance of skins, the fact that several players are reporting a missing Operator skin has flown under the radar.

The Operator skin that has gone missing in Warzone Pacific Season 5 is the Fourth of July Tracer Pack. The Warzone bundle was released on July 3, 2022, and delivered several items including two Fourth of July-themed weapon blueprints.

Unfortunately, those who purchased the Fourth of July Tracer Pack to celebrate Independence Day in the United States of America might notice that the Operator skin has gone missing from their collection in Season 5.

Call of Duty content creator ElvisCOD has brought the issue to the attention of Raven Software in the hopes of quickly solving the issue. The Operator skin is gone with seemingly no explanation.

It remains to be seen if the skin is gone as a result of a conscious decision or if a random bug has made it disappear from the game. Players seem to believe that the latter is likely the case: “Obviously just a bug and it will be back, but it’s hilarious that it literally disappeared.”

Others replied to the above Tweet condemning the purchase of Operator skins at this point in time.

With Warzone cosmetics like Operator skins confirmed not to transfer to Warzone 2, several players don’t see the point of purchasing skins at this stage of the game: “I don’t buy Skins from this game anymore since I found out that in the new warzone they won’t be there so why would I buy something I won’t use.”

The devs will likely look into the mysterious disappearance and we’ll be sure to provide an update when the skin is available once more.
