Warzone Season 2’s Caldera Clash has been a huge hit and players are calling for the chaotic LTM to become a permanent mode moving forward.

From new modes to new weapons, to new mechanics, Warzone Season 2 certainly delivered on content. Of course, Warzone still has some gameplay issues that have been ruining the experience for some but one thing that players aren’t taking for granted is Caldera Clash.

Players seem to be enjoying the Ground War-like experience that Caldera Clash offers and they’re not ready for the fun to end just yet.

Caldera Clash brings elements of CoD multiplayer gameplay to the big battle royale map which has led players to compare the LTM to Ground War. The mode is a chaotic battleground that is also extremely useful for ranking up weapons quickly.

Seeing as Vanguard currently does not have a similar large-scale game mode experience, Caldera Clash has managed to attract the attention of Vanguard players. A recent post on the Warzone subreddit sheds light on the mode’s appeal that is making Vanguard players turn to Warzone.

Reddit user astrala explains how they went from playing Vanguard multiplayer exclusively to truly enjoying what Caldera Clash has to offer.

The post praises the game mode for its non-stop action and questions why it has arrived as an LTM, “So then why oh why does it have to be a “limited-time” mode? Maybe they don’t want to split the player base up, or they’re just testing the waters to see if people will like it.”

Many players in the comments seemed to desperately agree that they’d love to see Caldera Clash stay on as a permanent mode, “Honestly such a fun game mode, also vote for keeping it, I used to play ground war most of the time in MW and was sad that it didn’t get put through to CW/V.”

It seems the mode is allowing players to rediscover their love for Warzone, “Clash is the most fun I have had in warzone recently and probably the only way I’m going to be able to level up Mw and Vanguard guns without the games”.

Some even expressed their desire to see the Clash mode make its way to Rebirth Island and there’s no denying that the fast-paced TDM style combat would suit Rebirth Island‘s tight spaces.

Despite these wishes, there are currently no plans to make Caldera Clash a permanent mode but we’ll share any updates surrounding the mode if announcements are made.

Genius Warzone trick completely counters getting stuck by Thermites

Getting stuck with a Thermite in Warzone usually means certain death, but a genius trick is allowing players to survive a fiery demise.

Warzone Caldera thermite trick Season 3 Reloaded

Getting stuck with a Thermite has traditionally meant a swift death, but if you react quickly, this genius Warzone trick will allow you to survive the tricky situation.

While most Warzone players will be trying to figure out how the meta has changed following the Season 3 Reloaded update, one player has made a discovery that could be useful to players with quick reflexes.

Warzone’s Lethal Equipment options can prove difficult to handle in enemy hands. Perhaps none are as frightening as the Thermite, a piece of Lethal Equipment that can down you in seconds. However, a genius Warzone trick has revealed the ultimate counter for enemy Thermites.

Trophy System in Warzone Pacific

Thermite is designed to stick to any surface on impact and burn whatever it touches for a short period of time. When stuck to a Warzone Operator, Thermite usually burns through armor and knocks the player down, setting up an easy kill.

Up until Season 3 Reloaded, getting stuck with a Thermite meant certain death, but a clip posted to the Warzone subreddit demonstrates a genius trick for escaping death by Thermite.

The clip shows how a player stuck with a Thermite is saved from its clutches by throwing a Trophy System. The key factor here is that the Trophy System was thrown after the player got stuck with the Thermite, which proves that Trophy Systems can destroy Thermites after they stick to players.

As the player who posted the clip explains, “You can clearly see the hitmarker the trophy gives off when it detonates a lethal, point here being I didn’t know it can save a guy from certain death like this dude here.”

Several players in the comments claimed that they had no idea this was possible and that they’d look to add the trick to their repertoire, “gonna have to remember now to throw a trophy if I have it on me and get stuck lol.”

It seems keeping a Trophy System by your side could get you out of a tricky situation if used correctly.

With the help of leaks, one Call of Duty fan has developed an image of what believe the Warzone 2 map could look like.

After various leaks and even the reveal of Modern Warfare 2, one creative fan in the community has developed fan art of what the Warzone 2 map could look like.

Call of Duty fans have received a lot of new information on both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 over the last month. As well as leaks surrounding Modern Warfare 2, we also got new details on the Warzone 2 map, including leaks surrounding the potential POIs.

One CoD fan took these leaks and created some incredible art for what the Warzone 2 map could look like if the leaks are accurate.

Reddit user EMADALDEN221 made their own Warzone 2 map based on the POI leaks that suggested some classic MW2 maps such as Quarry and Highrise could be included.

The recreated map images we’ve seen so far haven’t been as detailed as this one, and although this is just a creation by someone in the community, it’s based on leaks from reliable sources.

The design created by the Reddit user shares similarities to Verdansk, and those who aren’t fans of Caldera may be happy about this. For starters, the map is not an island, but rather a part of a much bigger bit of land.

The fan-made map definitely has more of a Blackout vibe, with bright colors and a focus on greenery, which wasn’t seen too much on Verdansk.

We’ll have to wait and see how accurate this depiction is when Warzone 2’s map is officially revealed.

JGOD explains why his H4 Blixen loadout is meta in Warzone Season 3 Reloaded

Top Warzone YouTuber JGOD explained how the new H4 Blixen fits right in the SMG meta and gave his recommended loadout.

JGOD and H4 Blixen SMG in Warzone

The H4 Blixen SMG is brand-new to Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded, and it’s already set to shake up the meta. Top Warzone YouTuber JGOD has explained why his loadout is a meta pick.

On top of all Warzone Season 3 Reloaded‘s major weapon balance changes, new squad HUD, and Underground Transit System, it introduced the H4 Blixen SMG, also referred to as the Carl Gustaf M/45.

Although the H4 Blixen currently has a frustrating glitch where it has a fire delay after sprinting, reloading, using equipment, and plating, the devs have confirmed a fix is in the works. YouTuber JGOD believes that after it’s fixed, the Blixen has the time to kill stats to join the SMG meta.

JGOD revealed how the Blixen has the TTK stats to compete with all of the meta SMGs such as the Armaguerra, Owen Gun, Welgun, and the Type 100. Describing it as a “high damage weapon,” he compared its TTK to these meta builds and discovered that it fits right in.

JGOD explained how it’s right in the middle of the SMG meta, where there are some weapons that kill faster but are harder to control, and others that are easier to control but don’t kill quite as fast.

If you’re bored of the other Vanguard SMGs or can’t quite find one that suits your playstyle, unlocking the H4 Blixen will be worth your time.

JGOD meta H4 Blixen loadout

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: Jonsson 9″ RMK
  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Stock: Removed Stock
  • Underbarrel: Mark VI Skeletal
  • Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 54 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Perk 1: Fleet
  • Perk 2: Quick

For the most part, JGOD’s H4 Blixen loadout is the standard build for Vanguard SMGs. Combining the Recoil Booster with the Jonsson 9″ RMK damage barrel vastly increases its time-to-kill, and the other attachments are for recoil control and mobility.

You do have a couple of options, though. He explained that you might be better off with the 7.62 Gorenko 36 Round Mags when playing Solos and Duos, as you’ll only be taking on one or two players at a time.

Ammunition choice is also flexible, where Lengthened, Hollow Point, or Subsonic are all viable options. These ammo types will make the Blixen’s range either a little bit better or a little bit worse, and Subsonic will hide your shots from the minimap.
