Warzone players get “live wallhacks” after Restock and Snapshot Grenade buffs
Warzone players are getting free wallhacks thanks to a handy buff to the Restock perk and Snapshot Grenades, with YouTuber IceManIsaac showing how strong they really can be.
Anyone who creates a loadout in Warzone has to add tactical equipment to their class. While there are a number of different options, it’s rare that you see players use anything other than Flash or Smoke Grenades.
Thanks to IceManIsaac, that could change. The YouTuber has revealed how powerful tactical can really be after receiving a buff from Raven Software. By mixing the Modern Warfare Restock perk and Snapshot Grenades, players can essentially give themselves wallhacks without cheating.
IceManIsaac discussed this powerful combination in his April 2 video, stating that he’ll be “rocking” this “new meta” in both Caldera and Rebirth Island.
Snapshot Grenades are relatively simple pieces of tactical equipment. Throw them, and you’ll get a snapshot of your surroundings, revealing enemy locations by outlining them in red.
While these are obviously very handy, using them with Modern Warfare’s Restock perk makes them invaluable. Restock used to resupply players with lethal and tactical equipment every 50 seconds, but March 28 perk changes halved that time to 25 seconds.
These changes mean you can throw two Snapshot Grenades per minute, meaning you’ll always have a good idea of who is around you. This trick is especially useful in built-up areas, as it lets you see who is hiding in rooms or buildings in your vicinity.
Unsurprisingly, some Warzone players think this combination is overpowered, and are calling on Raven to nerf it. Whether the developers choose to do so, remains to be seen.
