Warzone was given a brand new playlist update this week, which seems to have given the players exactly what they want.

Warzone just got its mid-season update, introducing buffs and nerfs, as well as a new SMG to spice up the meta.

You may think these new changes to the game would excite players the most, however, it’s actually the playlist update of January 13 that is getting players most pumped.

Since Warzone Pacific was released, players haven’t been too happy about the variety of modes available. Vanguard Royale became the focus and those who don’t own Vanguard and just want to use their weapons and equipment from the previous games were disappointed about this.

Luckily, the latest playlist update has introduced a variety that will make those who want to play the standard Battle Royale and Resurgence mode happy.

Warzone January 13 playlist update

Reddit user Dull-Caterpillar3153 put a post up on the Warzone subreddit stating “For the first time (I think) Rebirth will have 3 playlists available at once – Duos, Trios, Quads.”

Of course, this is great for those who enjoy Resurgence, but what about Battle Royale? As players have been discussing in the comments, there seems to be a relief that players will finally have the option for Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads for the standard BR mode.

One comment even states: “Thank goodness for Battle Royale being back. Sweet!”

Unfortunately, as another user pointed out, this playlist won’t last long, so get playing while you can: “This is the best playlist yet!! Just leave it like this. Raven could save themselves the trouble of updating the weekly playlist.”

Having said that, the next two weekly playlist updates after this one will also have Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads for Battle Royale. But, if you’re someone who enjoys playing Resurgence, there will be some variation in the modes available.
