Warzone Season 5 Reloaded’s The Numbers event is here, but players have been less than impressed with the “low effort” and “lazy” challenges and changes.

Each Season, there’s usually a Warzone event to give players some new challenges to complete and rewards to earn. These have included fan-favorites such as The Haunting of Verdansk and the 80s Action Heroes, but players are calling Season 5’s The Numbers event a disappointment.

For this event, the Mobile Broadcast Stations have been activated and players must visit each one to complete the challenges and unlock the Sai melee weapon. With how quick and easy this is to complete, players have slammed the “extremely underwhelming” event.

As with every event, players must complete a series of challenges to unlock Charms, Calling Cards, and an exclusive weapon Blueprint. The Numbers follows a similar format, but all players need to do is visit each Broadcast Station and they don’t feel the event is challenging or unique enough.

In a post slamming the latest Warzone event, Reddit user TheDudeofDudez said that The Numbers is “embarrassingly low effort” and “terrible.” They complained of the challenges lack of variety, where all you have to do is “Walk up to a van and press a button, hear some numbers, and that’s it.”

Another Redditor, JustThatOneGuy, elaborated on the issue. They explained that they completed all but two of the challenges in one game, and that was because the gas came in. “There’s no sense of speed or urgency as they’re active all match once activated,” they described. “No skill required to win gunfights as there’s no limit on how many are available per game.”

Popular Warzone YouTuber JGOD had the same experience, saying that it took him seven minutes to complete the challenge and unlock the Sai.

The event is now live, so it’s very likely it will stay this way until it concludes on October 5. While many feel it’s disappointing, some said they are just glad that the free Sai weapon is easy to unlock.
