Warzone players slam “unplayable” Rebirth Resurgence Extreme mode

Warzone has added the Rebirth Resurgence Extreme mode again, but players have slammed it for actually being way too chaotic.

Warzone’s September 30 playlist update readded Rebirth Resurgence Extreme, but the mode doesn’t seem to have landed well, with players slamming it for “ruining Resurgence.”

To keep gameplay fresh and exciting, Warzone devs Raven Software have several LTMs that they rotate every Thursday. The most recent, Iron Trials 84, was an absolute hit among fans, and many want it to remain a permanent mode.

But with Iron Trials’ removal came Rebirth Resurgence Extreme.

This more chaotic version of Rebirth Island appears to be an issue among players, with many saying it’s too hectic and impossible to regain or get a loadout.

What is Rebirth Resurgence Extreme?

Warzone Rebirth Resurgence Extreme is similar to regular Resurgence, but there are many more players, and the respawn time is significantly lower.

In regular Rebirth Island modes, roughly 40 players are dropping in. But, in the Rebirth Island playlist that replaced regular Resurgence on September 30, 64 players are dropping into the smaller Warzone map.

While some players prefer this more chaotic, faster-paced gameplay, many believe it’s ruined the mode.

After Warzone Rebirth Resurgence Extreme replaced the regular playlist on September 30, players haven’t been shy in sharing their discontent.

Reddit user Sir–Realist said that “they ruined Resurgence” and explained how “it’s practically unplayable.” They said that there are too many players for the size of the map, and it’s impossible to regain because everywhere is “crawling with players.”

In the comments, another user said that it’s “Almost impossible to get a floor loot gun without dying let alone a loadout.” Many others agreed, saying that opening loadout drops is far too risky.

Some praised Raven Software for keeping the game fresh with new playlists but wish they would always keep the regular modes available when they add something like Warzone Rebirth Resurgence Extreme.

It’s clear that Raven was aware of Extreme’s problem as, in the past, the mode had around 100 players. Raven clearly listened to fan feedback, but it appears that 64 players are perhaps still a little too many for the smaller Rebirth Island.

Warzone players beg Raven to reverse “stupidest” Loadout change ever

Warzone Pacific players are calling for Raven Software to reverse the “stupidest” change ever to weapon Loadouts.

Warzone Operators and Loadout drop

Warzone Pacific players are frustrated by the Loadout selection changes in the game and are calling for Raven Software to reverse them in a future update.

Before Warzone Pacific Season 4 arrived, the Loadout Drop selection would hover over your previously selected choice and this would allow you to select your ideal Loadout in the pre-game lobby right away.

However, Raven Software felt that too many players were accidentally selecting the wrong loadouts so they made a major change to Loadout picking in the Season 4 update. Now, players are begging the devs to reverse this change.

In Warzone Pacific Season 4, when you open the Loadout Drop selection, the cursor always starts at the top of the Loadout Drop selection list, so you might end up picking your first Loadout rather than your preferred one.

Reddit user ‘Putridzzz’ expressed their frustration with this in the Warzone Pacific subreddit, claiming that it’s making them pick the wrong Loadouts and describing the change as extremely “stupid.”

The Redditor stated: “It’s ridiculous that even setting a Loadout to your “Favorite Loadout” still makes you pick your first Loadout. I have to scroll through all the Loadouts to pick the right one.”

Many of the commenters agreed that this change is irritating as it causes players to accidentally pick the wrong Loadout or spend time scrolling through the list looking for their favorite one in every game.

One user claimed that the biggest problem is that you’re unable to select your preferred weapon loadout quickly because you need to go down to the middle of the list. They then added that this change makes picking your guns in the pre-game lobby feel pointless.

A few users suggested that the developers make a change that allows them to rearrange their Loadouts without having to build them from scratch. This would make it easier to quickly pick your favorite loadouts in the game.

According to one commenter, the addition of a “Switch spots” option instead of “copy and replace” would be beneficial since it would let you move your desired Loadout to the top instead of having to remake one.

After players first slammed this change, Raven Software’s Senior Creative Director Ted Timmins responded to these complaints on Twitter, reassuring the community that they would get used to it.

Despite this, discontent continues over this change, and it remains to be seen whether or not the developers will implement another major tweak that will allow players to immediately select their favorite weapon Loadouts.

Assault Rifles are a staple of the Call of Duty series, and while the Warzone Pacific Season 3 meta was dominated by weapons like STG44, the Season 4 update has brought other long-range weapons into the spotlight.

One of these is the Cold War AK-47 which Call of Duty expert JGOD believes is one of the best Assault Rifles that you can use. You can make it even deadlier with the right attachments, Perks, and Equipment.

Here’s the best Cold War AK-47 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 4.

Our Cold War AK-47 loadout for Warzone Pacific starts off by improving the weapon’s damage range, vertical recoil control, and bullet velocity with the GRU Suppressor and 20” Spetsnaz RPK Barrel.

The Spetsnaz Grip will give a further boost to the Assault Rifle’s recoil control, and you can then take advantage of the improved accuracy by picking off distant enemies with the help of the Axial Arms 3x optic.

Finally, we’ll cap off the loadout with the 45 Rnd magazine to ensure that we have plenty of ammo to take down multiple enemies. With these attachments, the Cold War AK-47 will be a powerhouse weapon.

JGOD reveals Warzone’s best long-range weapons after Season 4 update

Warzone specialist JGOD has revealed his best long-range weapon picks following the Season 4 update that affected the meta.

Fortune's Keep Warzone JGOD AK-47

Call of Duty expert and Warzone extraordinaire JGOD has analyzed the many long-range weapon options and revealed the best guns to use following the Season 4 update.

Warzone devs are constantly working on balancing the battle royale’s pool of weapons through updates. Seasonal updates usually provide a ton of buffs and nerfs, which tends to leave the meta in an awkward state as players rush to adapt to the changes.

With Season 3’s dominant STG44 firmly out of the picture, new long-range options have emerged in Season 4. Luckily, Warzone expert JGOD is around to break down which weapons are viable in Season 4 following buffs and nerfs.

Best XM4 loadout for Warzone Pacific

In JGOD‘s video highlighting the top long-range Warzone weapons after the Season 4 update, he breaks down the current state of the meta.

The stats expert clearly separates long-range options into three categories: meta, top tier viable, and viable. For the sake of breaking down the best long-range weapons, JGOD sticks to revealing the weapons he believes fit the meta and top tier viable categories.

He uses these categories to explain how the meta has changed since the Season 4 update. Prior to the update, the gap between the top meta weapons and top tier viable weapons was much larger.

Now, players can find a ton of success using top tier viable weapons: “You can use other things besides the absolute meta and not be hardcore penalized.”

According to JGOD, the NZ-41 is still the best long-range weapon in the game despite recent nerfs.

However, the expert predicts that another NZ-41 nerf should arrive soon enough, which will result in the long-range weapon meta becoming incredibly varied: “The nerf will come through again for the NZ and that will push it out and all these weapons that are top tier viable will essentially be the meta.”

Following the NZ-41, JGOD picks the BAR as the next best long-range weapon. Despite its slow fire rate, the BAR is one of the best long-range weapons in Warzone thanks to how easy it is to utilize.

The majority of JGOD’s video is spent highlighting top tier viable weapons that are set to benefit from an upcoming NZ-41 nerf: “You’re going to be able to use almost anything you want as soon as this next NZ nerf comes in.”

Aside from the NZ-41 and BAR, here’s the list of long-range weapons that players should use to maximize Warzone success:

If JGOD’s prediction is correct, it seems like the meta is heading in a very interesting direction throughout Season 4. Warzone players can expect to choose from a ton of viable options thanks to a level playing field.
