The STG44 has dominated Caldera in recent weeks, but Warzone expert IceManIsaac has revealed a BAR loadout that he feels makes it the number one Assault Rifle in Season 3 Reloaded.

Warzone Season 3 Reloaded brought substantial buffs to many of CoD Vanguard’s weapons, and they’ve been dominating the meta ever since. This is definitely the case in the Assault Rifle category, with the STG44 becoming the most popular gun in the entire game.

While the Cooper Carbine and buffed NZ-41 have emerged as solid options, Warzone expert IceManIsaac feels that the BAR is being ‘slept on’ compared to its fellow Vanguard ARs.

The YouTuber has now revealed an overpowered BAR loadout that he feels makes it better than the STG44 in Season 3 Reloaded.

BAR in Warzone

In his June 2 video, IceManIsaac explains that the reason that players may have avoided the BAR in the past is due to its poor ADS speed and high recoil.

It often felt more heavy and sluggish than some of its peers, and the low fire rate was tough to get used to in frantic gunfights. In a game where movement and speed are so important, it’s no surprise that players looked elsewhere.

However, after a series of buffs, the gun is a real challenger to the STG’s throne. Isaac created a BAR loadout that offers great movement speed and fast ADS, while curbing much of the weapon’s recoil.

Describing the loadout, IceManIsaac said: “The BAR is the meta. I think it’s a top-two gun. I would probably be using this over the STG or even the XM4 in solos.” We’ve got the build for you below.

IceManIsaac’s BAR loadout for Warzone Season 3 Reloaded

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: CGC 30” XL
  • Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
  • Stock: Removed Stock
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 8mm Klauser 30 Round Mags
  • Ammunition: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Rubber Grip
  • Perk: Hardscope
  • Perk 2: On-Hand

The majority of this loadout is fairly straightforward in terms of attachments, the key difference being IceManIsaac’s choice to run a Removed Stock. “You do not need a dedicated stock. Using the Removed Stock is going to help us get that aim down sight faster and move faster while using it,” he explained.

Going for the Chariot WR is also an option, but Isaac felt that ditching the Stock altogether makes the AR feel “snappier.”

He also went for a Rubber Grip to help with recoil control instead of the usual Polymer Grip, as the former helps more with the visual screen shaking and makes it feel as though the BAR barely moves when firing.
