Warzone level 1,000 hack reportedly shut down

After top Warzone streamers and other members of the community were granted level 1,000 and every weapon unlock in hacked lobbies, Raven Software have reportedly shut down the cheats in a secret patch. However, the leaker claims hackers may still give out Dark Matter Ultra.

Warzone cheaters have been running rampant in Season 4, with cheaters being able to crash your game and even have permanent UAVs. While your standard aimbotters and wallers still plague matches, Activision are fighting against a new wave of cheats, such as cheats coming to console and players receiving level 1,000 and every weapon unlock in hacked lobbies.

Warzone’s devs appear to be proactive in putting a stop to these new cheats, with the console hacks reportedly shut down and, now, a leaker claims the level 1,000 hack was secretly patched by Raven Software.

The internet went crazy over a new system of hacks in Warzone that granted top streamers level 1,000, Dark Matter camo, and every weapon unlock. Some of Warzone’s best and most popular players were on the receiving end of the hack, with Biffle, Swagg, and NICKMERCS all being gifted the rare unlocks.

Now, however, Raven Software appears to have shut down the hacks in a silent update. Call of Duty leaker and data miner CallofDutyHope tweeted on July 13 that “Modern Warfare/Warzone had a silent update today patching both level 1000 and max level Cold War guns hacks.”

In further tweets and replies, the leaker described the nature of the fix. “This only applies to anything going forward,” the leaker explained. Players who received all of the high-level unlocks will apparently get to hold on to them, and the fix will only stop anyone else from receiving the new hack.

One of the most significant aspects of the hack was that players would receive the uber-rare Dark Matter camo for all weapons. “DMU can still be given regardless of the guns not being fully leveled as the challenges are all memory-based,” revealed CallofDutyHope. So while cheaters may no longer be able to gift level 1,000 and max weapon level, you may still randomly receive Dark Matter.

Neither Raven Software nor Activision have confirmed the fix for the 1,000 hack, but if they provide any update, we’ll let you know.

Vanguard Season 1 is almost here, and it features a plethora of new content, like a new Warzone map, the Season 1 Battle Pass, and some cool new weapons for players to try out.

One of these new additions is the Sawtooth Melee Weapon which you will be able to get your hands on in the Vanguard and Warzone integration. In case you’re wondering how to unlock it, this guide has you covered.

Here’s how to get the Sawtooth in Vanguard and Warzone Season 1.

How to unlock the Sawtooth Melee Weapon in Warzone & Vanguard

You can unlock the Sawtooth Melee Weapon in Vanguard and Warzone by reaching Tier 37 in the Season 1 Battle Pass. This is fairly simple and there are two ways for you to get this done.

The first method is the most straightforward and it involves you playing through multiple matches as you gradually progress through the Battle Pass. You can check out our guide on how to level up fast in Vanguard.

Alternatively, you can pay for a Tier-Skip bundle on day one to immediately progress through the first 20 Tiers of the Battle Pass. This will speed up the process and you’ll be able to get the Sawtooth much quicker.

The Sawtooth is the first Melee Weapon in the Vanguard Season 1 Battle Pass. Sewn with shark’s teeth along the club’s perimeter, the Sawtooth is capable of slicing up foes with great efficiency.

Season 1 will also bring other fun additions like new maps, perks, and Zombies content. You can check out all of these changes in the full Call of Duty: Vanguard Season 1 patch notes.

Warzone & Vanguard Season 1 has introduced the new Cooper Carbine, an Assault Rifle that excels in close-range combat. Here’s how you can unlock this weapon.

Vanguard & Warzone Season 1 brings a ton of new content for both games, with new weapons, multiplayer maps, operators, and the highly-anticipated Pacific Caldera battle royale map.

Season 1 will introduce five new weapons in total, with two guns and two melee weapons dropping straight away. Alongside the Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle, players will also get their hands on the Cooper Carbine Assault Rifle.

While ARs usually work best at long range, the Cooper Carbine excels in close-quarters combat. Here’s how you can unlock the gun in Vanguard & Warzone Season 1.

How to unlock Cooper Carbine Assault Rifle

Getting your hands on this assault rifle is extremely easy, as all you need to do is reach Tier 15 of the Vanguard & Warzone Season 1 Battle Pass to unlock the Cooper Carbine.

That means you don’t need to complete any specific challenges, and can just play matches in either game to earn XP and level up your Battle Pass.

If you don’t want to wait, you can purchase the Premium Battle Pass and receive 20 Tiers immediately, but you can still choose not to and grab the Cooper Carbine for free.

As soon as you hit Tier 15 of the Battle Pass, the Cooper Carbine will immediately be added to your inventory. You’ll then be able to create loadouts with it in both Vanguard and Warzone.

The Cooper Carbine is a very interesting weapon. Despite being classed as an Assault Rifle, it functions best at short range, meaning it feels more like an SMG than anything else.

Warzone & Vanguard Season 1 introduces the brand-new Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle. Here’s how you can unlock this powerful weapon in both games.

The beginning of Vanguard Season 1 brings a host of new content for both it and Warzone, new operators, multiplayer maps, weapons, and the Pacific Caldera map for the series’ popular battle royale.

Season 1 will introduce five new weapons into the mix for Call of Duty fans, with everything from melee weapons to assault rifles. The most interesting addition is the Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle, which is set to be the most powerful sniper in the game.

You won’t want to miss out on your chance to get your hands on this weapon, so we’ve got everything you need to unlock the Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle in Vanguard & Warzone Season 1.

How to unlock Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle

The good news is that getting your hands on this powerful weapon is very straightforward, and won’t require you to complete any frustrating challenges.

To unlock the Gorenko Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle, all you need to do is reach Tier 31 in the Vanguard & Warzone Season 1 Battle Pass.

That means you can earn the right to wield the weapon just by playing games. If grinding for the weapon doesn’t sound like your thing, you can choose to purchase premium skips to avoid playing matches and unlock the Gorenko straight away.

As soon as you hit Tier 31, the sniper rifle will be immediately added to your arsenal, and you’ll be able to add it to any loadout in Warzone or Vanguard.

While the Gorenko does have a slow fire rate and strong recoil, its damage is the highest in its category, which means it could become a replacement for the always-popular Kar98k with the right attachments.

Before jumping into the major update, check out everything that’s coming in Vanguard’s Season 1 patch notes, or take a look at the best Warzone sniper rifles to see where this weapon will fit.
