Warzone Season 2 Reloaded fixes the game’s most annoying bug

Warzone’s Season 2 Reloaded update has brought a highly-requested fix for one of the game’s most frustrating glitches.

No plates in Warzone superstore

The Armor Plate glitch has been plaguing Warzone since before Season 2, but the mid-season Reloaded update has finally addressed this frustrating bug.

You’ve landed in Superstore and found your weapons, but after eliminating a couple of players you’re left without any armor. No matter where you look, however many crates you open, there are no armor plates to be found. Most Warzone players know this frustration, but this shouldn’t be a problem following Warzone’s Season 2 Reloaded update.

The Armor Plate glitch has been an issue in Warzone long before Season 2. Before Season 1 even began, certain locations around Verdansk were devoid of Armor Plates.

The only way to get your hands on some was by finding an Armor Satchel, buying them, or leaving the area to loot somewhere else. And with the extremely high time-to-kill from Cold War’s weapons, having no plates equipped renders you defenseless.

On February 12, Raven Software revealed the issue was being investigated and a fix became one of the most requested features for Season 2 Reloaded.

Players’ wishes were granted and the official patch notes for the mid-Season 2 update read: “Armor should now spawn consistently as ground loot across all matches.”

Now, after finding armor plates on the ground, you can save your hard-earned cash for Loadout Drops or the new Foresight streak.

However, if you’re still receiving the issue, you should let Raven Software know either through Twitter or Reddit, as the Trello card says they are still monitoring the issue.

Although fans are happy that Armor Plates can now consistently be found across Verdansk and the FFAR has been secretly nerfed, it’s deflating to see the “Stim Glitch” return for the seventh time following the update.

The STG44 is an extremely effective Assault Rifle, and here are the ideal attachments, Perks, and equipment to make the best STG44 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

Warzone’s meta underwent significant changes with the arrival of the Season 4 Reloaded update, with its buffs and nerfs finally dethroning the NZ-41, bringing the KG M40 to the meta, and seeing the STG44’s return.

The STG44 Assault Rifle is a great choice in Season 4 Reloaded because of its solid TTK and effective damage range. You can make this weapon even better with the right attachments, Perks, and equipment.

Here’s the best STG44 loadout in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.

Next, we’ll focus on bringing the recoil under control, and this can be done by equipping the VDD 34S WeightedM1941 Hand Stop, and Hatched Grip. The SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x is perfect for Warzone as it offers incredibly high zoom.

The 7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags ensure that you have enough ammo to kill multiple foes, and the Lengthened ammo type buffs the weapon’s bullet velocity so that you can take out your opponents insanely fast.

The Vital Perk ensures that you stay accurate while getting shot, while Fully Loaded makes sure you have full ammo when picking up your loadout.

The good news is that the STG44 is unlocked automatically in Warzone, and Vanguard players can access it early by reaching Rank 4 in the game’s create-a-class.

If you haven’t played Vanguard, earning the proper attachments may be a grind but at least the weapon is available from the start, so you don’t need to worry about completing a difficult unlock challenge.

Best alternatives to Warzone STG44

If you’re looking for a great alternative to the STG44 in Warzone, then the Kilo 141 is a viable option again. This weapon’s recoil is extremely easy to control so you can use it to pick off enemies with great precision.

World Series of Warzone slammed after cheating & VPN accusations

The World Series of Warzone tournament is under scrutiny after being hit with allegations of cheating in its qualifiers.

Qualifiers of the $600k World Series of Warzone event have been hit by allegations of cheating and using VPNs after players inspected the early results.

The World Series of Warzone tournament returned in 2022, bringing an impressive prize pool of $600,000 that players were given the chance to win after participating in the open qualifiers on August 12.

However, shortly after the qualifiers came to an end, Warzone Pacific players closely examined the early results and threw accusations of cheating at their competitors in the tournament.

Popular content creator ‘Fifakill’ is considered one of the best Warzone players, and he gave his perspective on what happened during the World Series of Warzone open in-game qualifiers.

He tweeted that he was saddened to learn about “people VPNing, people stream sniping other qualifier teams, and worst of all, people getting into their friend’s games and dying to their friend repeatedly.”

The Call of Duty: Warzone pro then added that cheating in tournaments sends a terrible message to players that try their hardest to qualify, and could lead to open in-game qualifiers potentially being removed altogether.

The official rules on the tournament’s Gamebattles page explains that one kill is worth a single point for your whole team, and those points would then multiply based on placement. So, the first place team would get double points while second place would have a 1.5x multiplier.

Squads that managed to land in the Top 40 would be able to proceed to the next round. So, the number of kills scored by players is an important part of this tournament and cheating can ruin it for all the participants.

Fifakill wasn’t the only one who was frustrated to learn about the alleged cheating in the tournament, as many in the wider Warzone community have also responded negatively to this news.

Reddit user ‘aur0n’ shared the result of the qualifiers in the Warzone Pacific subreddit, and described the open in-game qualifiers as “really chalked.” The thread was filled with players who were equally upset about this.

Many of the commenters expressed their disdain for the cheating in the qualifiers, and some began to speculate about how exactly participants in the tournament were able to get this done.

One user suggested that the second place team was working together with the first place team to feed the one player massive kills and get the win. They figured that this explains how the former had two players with 34 deaths each.

This could have serious consequences for the teams that are currently leading in the tournament and it remains to be seen how the officials will respond to this. We’ll keep you posted about any new developments regarding this.

JGOD reveals his pick for Warzone Season 4 Reloaded’s best meta loadouts

Top Warzone YouTuber JGOD has revealed the best meta Assault Rifles and SMGs you can use in Season 4 Reloaded.

With Warzone’s devs Raven Software dropping major weapon balance changes during Season 4 Reloaded, top YouTuber JGOD has broken down the best weapon loadouts ahead of Season 5.

While Warzone‘s meta is the most balanced it’s been for a long time, Vanguard weapons still come out on top. Although Modern Warfare and Cold War guns are still viable in Season 4 Reloaded, it’s Vanguard weapons that make up Warzone expert JGOD’s best meta loadouts.

JGOD explained that it’s a toss-up between the STG44 and KG M40 for Assault Rifles, while the SMG meta is split between the Armaguerra 43 and Marco 5. He said that the weapons are “interchangeable” depending on your skill level and playstyle, and there isn’t a be-all-end-all.

The STG has “as good a TTK, better mobility, faster reload than the KG M40 which is an absolute laser which requires zero skill and anyone can use,” explained JGOD. “So you kind of gotta pick where you’re at and what consistency level you’re going to be playing at.”

For the SMGs, it’s also dependent on skill. The Armaguerra can offer a much faster TTK but isn’t as easy to use, while the Marco 5 has much better mobility and an easy-to-control recoil pattern.

JGOD also gave some alternative attachment combos for SMGs depending on whether you’re playing modes like Titanium Trials, so be sure to check out the full video below.
