Warzone Season 2 Theory – Zombies may overtake all of Verdansk

Call of Duty: Warzone’s Verdansk may be soon overtaken with hordes of the undead over the course of Season 2.

Black Ops Cold War's Warzone Zombie Terminal

The Call of Duty: Warzone map as we know it may be overtaken by the undead over the course of Season 2, per the analysis of popular Easter Egg hunter and YouTuber, GeekyPastimes.

The Season 2 update for Black Ops Cold War is massive, bringing us three new weapons (Machete Melee Weapon, Fara 83 Assault Rifle, and the LC10 SMG) as well as the new Warzone locations and the Zombies Outbreak event and mode.

With all these new additions, Treyarch isn’t backing down with the content, and it seems that the Zombie infestation that has made its way to Verdansk may be spreading, per speculation by YouTuber GeekyPastimes.

The Zombie outbreak is spreading…

If you switch to the overhead map of Verdansk, you may notice that the Shipwreck area has a clawmark over it, signifying that it has been overrun by Zombies.

According to a Tweet by GeekyPastimes, he believes that this clawmark will begin to appear in other locations across Verdansk as the Zombie outbreak continues.

He continues, linking the Zombies computers to the progress of the outbreak stating “And isn’t there 20 locations, so one of them being overrun at the moment is 5%, which is what this machine is measuring. Maybe we have to wait for these to get to 100%?

This insight would make sense, as each new area gets invaded by the zombie horde, the percentage would increase until the entire map is overtaken. Perhaps when it hits 100%, we will be able to trigger a special event on the map in preparation for the new Black Ops Cold War-themed map, rumored to drop in April.

If true, we should expect the zombie outbreak to intensify across Verdansk in the coming weeks. We’ll be sure to keep you updated if we see any developments.

Warzone Season 5 Rage Serum Field Upgrade explained

Warzone Season 5 will introduce a brand-new Field Upgrade to players known as Rage Serum, which has some pretty astounding effects.

The fifth and final season of Warzone will introduce a variety of content, one of which is a brand-new Field Upgrade called Rage Serum.

Activision officially announced the details concerning the final season of Warzone and Vanguard titled Last Stand. The Warzone Season 5 update is looking to pass the torch to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 with a bang.

As well as dramatic map changes in which Peak has erupted, the devs have also decided to introduce some new weapons, Operators, and a Field Upgrade to spice things up.

This new Field Upgrade is called Rage Serum, and it has the potential to become a fan favorite, and possibly impact the meta.

According to the Season 5 Call of Duty blog, Warzone’s Rage Serum Field Upgrade will allow Operators to “become violently unstable, resulting in a viciously effective boost to your close-quarters fighting.”

Players will gain “superior melee damage, increased lunge distance, and enhanced stun power while fighting with melee weapons or fists.”

However, there are negatives to this Field Upgrade, as it will make your Operator noisier and give players extra recoil while stunned.

For those familiar with the Black Ops 2 campaign, this Rage Serum sounds very familiar to the “Time and Fate” mission, which saw players take control of Menendez as he goes on a rage-induced rampage after his sister dies.

For those unaware, Menendez will be an Operator in Warzone Season 5, so this would make sense to see in-game. We’ll have to wait and see, but it sounds like Rage Serum will allow players to go on a similar rampage to Menendez’s.

All Vanguard & Warzone weapons arriving in Season 5

Here are all of the weapons coming to both Call of Duty: Vanguard & Warzone Pacific in the Season 5 update.

Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 weapons

Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 Last Stand will bring five new weapons to both games as players get set to experience the end of a Call of Duty era.

Anticipation for Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 is on the rise after Activision confirmed that it would be the final season for both games. A new season’s roadmap always reveals the exciting new content that will be available to players once the update goes live and Season 5 is no different.

Thanks to the Season 5 roadmap we know that Last Stand will see the return of classic Call of Duty villains as well as new weapons to unlock. Here’s a look at the new weapons that will be making their way to Warzone and Vanguard Season 5.

Every new weapon in Warzone and Vanguard Season 5

Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 will see the devs stick to a similar formula while also trying out some unique concepts. Players won’t be surprised to discover that a brand-new post-launch SMG will enter the fold during Season 5.

Warzone Vanguard Season 5 EX1 and RA 225

Despite this expected discovery, the devs have decided to break the mold by delivering the EX1 Energy Rifle. There currently isn’t a weapon in either game quite like it, so it will be interesting to see how it fits in.

The EX1 and RA 255 will be available at the start of Season 5 on August 24, while the Valois Revolver is expected shortly after. Meanwhile, the BP50 and Lienna 57 will arrive with the midseason update.

EX1 Energy Rifle

This new Season 5 weapon is unique in that it leaves ballistics behind in favor of a battery system that powers its energy beams. The EX1 is a prototype weapon that shoots red beams and it is said to be effective at long-range.

While you’ll never run out of ammo, the weapon does exhibit a cooling-off period after a charge is depleted. This cool-down essentially acts as the EX1’s reload mechanism.

It’s going to be interesting to see the weapon’s attachments and how they improve the EX1’s attributes. According to the devs, “its Gunsmith potential is impressive, with options for every scenario.”

RA 225 SMG

If the RA 225 is anything like the Vanguard SMGs that came before it, then it is destined to rise to the top of Warzone’s close-range meta. The Welgun, Armaguerra 43, H4 Blixen, and Marco 5, all had their time in the Warzone spotlight.

While little is known about the weapon, the devs have emphasized its lightweight design, mobility, and fast fire rate. Usually, when an SMG is lightning quick, it doesn’t pack the hardest punch, but we’ll have to wait and see if this is the case for the RA 225.

It does have some upward kick that players are going to have to get used to, but with the right attachments, this shouldn’t be an issue.

Valois Revolver Vanguard Warzone Season 5

Valois Revolver

The Valois Revolver is yet another unique addition in Season 5 thanks to its ability to act as a melee weapon and a pistol. This hybrid weapon is sure to take many enemies by surprise.

The six bullets it could hold and low damage output should prevent it from dominating either game but the ability to eliminate players with a one-shot melee attack will be a clever tactic to exploit.

BP50 & Lienna 57 Assault Rifles

While Season 5 is the final major content release for Warzone and Vanguard, players can still expect a midseason update to arrive. Warzone and Vanguard Season 5 Reloaded are set to deliver two new weapons to the games.

The weapons arriving with the midseason update are the BP50 and Lienna 57. Interestingly enough, it seems the BP50 is modeled after Modern Warfare 2’s F2000. Both weapons are Assault Rifles, which means Warzone’s long-range meta could be in for some drastic changes.

There you have it, those are the five new weapons coming to Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 Last Stand.
