Warzone Season 4 map changes: Satellites, Hijacked Gulag, Red Doors
Warzone Season 4 has introduced new Satellite Crash Sites, alongside a new Gulag and the Red Door fast-travel system.
Warzone Season 4 is officially here, and as always, Raven Software have updated Verdansk ’84 in an attempt to keep things fresh. With new POIs, a revamped Gulag, and the interesting Red Doors, there’s plenty to see the next time you drop in.
Warzone Season 4 is officially here, with the major patch dropping on June 17 on all platforms. With three new guns, major weapon balance changes, and the new Ground Fall event, there’s plenty for players to sink their teeth into.
Of course, a new seasonal update gives Raven Software the opportunity to tinker with the game’s map, and the developers have added some brand-new Points-of-Interest dotted across the map, while also reworking the Gulag.
Warzone Season 4 Satellite Crash Sites
The biggest change to Verdansk itself are the new Satellite Crash POIs found across the map. As part of the Ground Fall event, a number of Satellites have dropped out of space and crashed into the earth, creating interesting but dangerous locations around Verdansk.
Wreckage can be found in four locations. A field in the Krovnik Farmland has been destroyed by the wreckage, while Gora Bridge suffered some major damage when one fell onto it.

Warzone players can also find a site close to the Salt Mines, while another sits next to the Airport Control Tower.
Warzone Season 4 Hijacked Gulag
The other major change in Season 4 comes to the Gulag, with the contentious Standoff version replaced with a layout based on Hijacked, which joins Black Ops Cold War as a new multiplayer map.
This Gulag is based on the central ship area of Hijacked, with cover in the middle and the covered walkway to the side.
Warzone Season 4 Red Doors & Downtown Tower
The long-rumored Red Doors are finally active in Warzone, which appear to randomly spawn and send players to a new location full of high-tier loot.
Downtown Tower has also changed slightly, with slight appearance changes after it was taken over by 80s Action Heroes and transformed into Die Hard’s Nakatomi Plaza during Season 3.
More map changes are being discovered as players explore Verdansk ’84, so be sure to keep checking back as we continue to update with any that are found.

When is Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded? Terminator crossover, Vargo-S, new modes
Here’s everything we know about the upcoming Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded update, including the expected release date and content.
Warzone Pacific Season 4 is here, bringing new weapons, Fortune’s Keep, and major Caldera updates. But there’s still more to come, so here’s everything confirmed for the Warzone Pacific Season 4 mid-season update, as well as its expected release date.
Every season, Call of Duty introduces another major update halfway through the season called ‘Reloaded.’ This usually brings a new weapon, new game modes, and major quality of life updates. Season 4 is no different, with the devs gearing up to add a new crossover, modes, and more in the mid-season update.
Here’s everything we know about the Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded update, including when we expect it to arrive.
- Expected Warzone Season 4 Reloaded release date
- Terminator crossover in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
- Vargo-S arrives in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
- New game modes in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
Expected Warzone Season 4 Reloaded release date
While Raven Software haven’t revealed when Warzone Season 4 Reloaded will arrive, we expect it to arrive in the week beginning July 25, as this is halfway through Season 4.
This is only the expected date, so we’ll be sure to confirm once Raven Software or Sledgehammer games confirm the official release date.
Terminator crossover in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
After teasing a Terminator crossover in Warzone, the Season 4 Battle Pass announcement confirmed that the T-800 and T-1000 Terminators will arrive as Store Bundles in the mid-Season update.
The T-800 is Arnold Schwarzenegger’s classic Terminator played and the T-1000 is the shapeshifting android from T2 who most often appears as a cop played by Robert Patrick. Not much else is known about these bundles, with the devs confirming we’ll know more about them later in Season 4.
Vargo-S arrives in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
Warzone’s Season 4 update added the Marco 5 SMG and UGM-8 LMG, but the Vargo-S Assault Rifle is set to arrive later in the season. Similar to the H4 Blixen and Armaguerra 43 arriving in mid-season updates, we expect the Vargo-S to arrive in the Season 4 Reloaded update.
The Vargo-S is set to be an early prototype of Cold War’s Vargo 52, and the devs have said it offers a “high-fire rate, steady aim through sustained fire, and a quick reload.”
New game modes in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded
Alongside the Terminator skins and a new Assault Rifle, Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded will also bring the Titanium Trials: Endurance and the Rebirth of the Dead mode.
Titanium Trials is set to be “an updated version of the highly-competitive Iron Trials,” and Rebirth of the Dead should bring Zombies to Rebirth Island. We should know much more about the new modes in the run-up to Season 4 Reloaded.

NICKMERCS loves the new Fortune’s Keep Warzone map and explains why
NICKMERCS has shared his opinion on the brand-new Warzone Season 4 map, Fortune’s Keep, stating that he loves it, as well as explaining why.
While NICKMERCS has been off Warzone for some time now, the popular streamer returned to try out the new map Fortune’s Keep, which he said he loves.
Warzone Season 4 introduced a brand-new map to entice players to hop on and explore. While some players’ initial thoughts have been slightly negative, perhaps because they’re missing Rebirth Island, NICKMERCS has expressed a positive opinion regarding the map.
In a recent stream, NICKMERCS explained why he likes the new map, and what kind of player would like Fortune’s Keep.
NICKMERCS left Warzone for Apex Legends, becoming addicted to the ranked mode grind that Respawn’s battle royale has to offer.
Despite continuing to enjoy Apex over Warzone, NICKMERCS returned to Call of Duty’s battle royale for the Season 4 update, intrigued by the new map Fortune’s Keep.
NICKMERCS has been pretty open about his feelings towards Warzone and Caldera, sharing similar opinions to Dr Disrespect. Having said that, NICKMERCS seems to be enjoying Fortune’s Keep, as while playing it on June 22 he said “I really like the map, yeah a lot.”
NICKMERCS went on to say, “I love the map…what can’t you like? It’s kind of more dynamic than the old one…there’s a cave, there’s a lot more towns and stuff.”
The popular streamer is clearly enjoying the map design for Fortune’s Keep, especially the variation in the POIs and elevation throughout the map.
NICKMERCS even feels that the map is perfectly suited to those who like to play fast: “If you’re like a speed runner, like if you play super quick man, oh my god…parkour on this thing man.”
Perhaps this will draw NICKMERCS back in, or maybe the ranked mode on Apex Legends is still a priority for the streamer. Either way, like other CoD fans, NICKMERCS will likely be looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.
