warzone rebirth of the dead

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded is bringing zombies back to the game in the new Rebirth of the Dead mode. Here’s everything you need to know about Warzone Rebirth of the Dead, from when it starts to the rules of the mode.

Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded has been revealed, and there’s no shortage of content for players to get stuck into. The much-anticipated Terminator crossover is coming with its own Titanium Trials Endurance mode, and there could be a classic Modern Warfare villain returning in a bundle very soon.

On top of all that, Season 4 Reloaded marks the return of zombies for the first time since the Verdansk days. This time, they’re taking over Rebirth Island in the Rebirth of the Dead game mode.

This new playlist gives players a drastically different experience to try out in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, and we’ve got the lowdown on all the rules and rewards you need to know.

Warzone Rebirth of the Dead release date

Rebirth of the Dead will go live on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, the same day as when players can download the Warzone Season 4 Reloaded update.

There’s no confirmation yet on how long the mode will be available, but with there only being a few weeks until Warzone Season 5, it might be the last until the new season.

Warzone Rebirth of the Dead mode explained

Rebirth of the Dead will look pretty familiar to anyone who played Zombie Royale in 2021, or Infection in CoD multiplayer, but there are a few new additions to keep the mode fresh.

10 teams of four drop into Rebirth Island as normal and battle it out, only, fallen Operators come back as zombies. Reanimated players then look to add to their ranks by taking out the remaining Operators with the help of a Charged Jump, EMP Blast, and Gas Grenade.

Zombies can look to return to the land of the living by collecting four Zombies Syringes, which can be found in numerous ways:

  • Single Zombie Syringes found in crates or Buy Stations
  • Two Zombie Syringes earned by eliminating a Human Operator
  • All four Zombie Syringes can be earned by performing a Finishing Move on an Operator

As zombies are eliminated, the Infestation meter will gradually fill up. Once full, all spectators will come back as the undead.

Rebirth of the Dead will also have a Medical Supplies event, where Zombies Syringes and high-rarity gear can be found around the map, giving Operators a chance to help their undead teammates.

Warzone Rebirth of the Dead challenges & rewards

On top of the fun of tearing through the flesh of your friends, there are also two different Calling Cards up for grabs by playing Rebirth of the Dead. We’ve got both, along with the requirements to earn them, below:

  • “Last Alive” Calling Card – Win a match as a human
  • “Head Scratcher” Calling Card – Perform a Finishing Move as a zombie

Luckily, these two challenges should be fairly easy to complete if you commit to playing plenty of Rebirth of the Dead before it is removed.

How to play Warzone Operation Last Call mode: Search & Destroy-inspired LTM

Warzone Season 5 will bring a brand-new LTM to the battle royale, so here’s everything you need to know about Operation Last Call.

Players will have a new Warzone LTM to test out in Season 5 that’s inspired by the classic Search & Destroy multiplayer mode. Here’s a guide on how to play the Operation Last Call LTM.

Raven Software decided to pull out all the stops for Warzone Season 5 given that it will be the final season of the iconic battle royale. Alongside new weapons and classic villains returning to Warzone, players will also get to discover some new modes.

One of these new modes is the Operation Last Call LTM, and fans of Call of Duty multiplayer will be pleased to discover that it’s inspired by the fan-favorite Search & Destroy mode.

We’ve compiled everything you need to know about Warzone’s Last Call LTM, including how to play and what to expect.

Warzone Operation: Last Call LTM explained

What makes this LTM unique is that players get to decide how to play. With the theme of Season 5 being Heroes vs Villains, the Last Call LTM will have players decide which side they’d like to support.

You’ll have the chance to either defend or sabotage Caldera. Bomb sites will appear across Caldera and in a similar fashion to the Search & Destroy mode you can either defend and defuse bombs or attempt to detonate them.

While there was no specific mention in the Warzone Season 5 blog, it’s expected that respawns will be enabled during this LTM.

Warzone Season 5’s transformed Peak will take center stage and that remains true during Operation Last Call. Not only will lava run down the mountainside, but in Operation Last Call, it will also “shoot out over the island.”

Players will have to be mindful of lava rocks crashing down on them from up above. Neither heroes nor villains are safe from the chaos of the lava rocks. This eruption will act as a public event within the Last Call LTM. A Volcano Meter will appear on your screen indicating the volcano’s current activity.

Players will witness two different outcomes to the match depending on which faction emerges victorious. Of course, this LTM will tie into the Heroes vs. Villains Community Event, so don’t forget to choose your side and earn rewards for participating.

How to unlock RA 225 SMG in Warzone & Vanguard Season 5

Warzone and Vanguard’s new Season 5 SMG is set to deliver incredible mobility and a fast fire rate, so here’s how to unlock the RA 225.

The RA 225 SMG is making its way to Vanguard and Warzone during Season 5, and the weapon’s speed in tight spaces should be a valuable addition to both games.

With Season 5 set to act as the final chapter of Vanguard and Warzone before players move on to Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, the RA 225 will be one of the last weapons to enter the fold.

We’ve seen a ton of post-launch Vanguard SMGs join the pool of weapons over the seasons, and it’s only right that players receive one final SMG before saying goodbye.

The new SMG will rely on a high fire rate and excellent mobility to dominate Season 5 of Warzone and Vanguard, so here’s how to unlock the RA 225.

How to unlock the RA 225 SMG in Warzone & Vanguard

Warzone and Vanguard’s RA 225 SMG will arrive at the start of Season 5 on August 24, and it will be available through the Battle Pass. At the moment, we don’t know the exact tier that the weapon will become available, but it should be either 15 or 31 according to previous seasons.

The RA 225 SMG will be one of two weapons arriving via the Season 5 Battle Pass, with the EX1 being the other. These two weapons should be free unlocks that occupy tiers 15 and 31 of the Battle Pass.

The Call of Duty blog for the Season 5 roadmap explains that “this SMG has a high fire rate and a very mobile compact frame.” The RA 225 is a lightweight SMG, which means it should provide excellent mobility for those looking to finesse opponents in Warzone Season 5.

Although it does come with quick handling, its fast fire rate means that while it will be devastating in close-range gunfights, you will have to manage some upward recoil kick that the RA 225 displays.

Its base form doesn’t boast the highest firepower possible, but with the right attachments, you should be able to increase its damage and recoil control to your liking.
