Warzone Season 6 Subway system detailed

Published

on

Activision has officially provided more information how the new Subway system in Call of Duty: Warzone will work.

The new Subway will be added to Warzone with the start of Season 6. Season 6 is set to begin on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Here’s a quick overview of accessing the new Metro station:

The platform itself is broken up into two halves, with each side dedicated to a different direction of the subway line. Both sides have a small room, such as an employee break area or equipment closet, that can be accessed via double doors. Nearly every one of these rooms also has a near escape ladder, which leads up to a hole on the surface a few dozen meters from the main subway staircase entrance.

Whether it’s in these rooms, on the platform, or even back at the previously accessible ticket office landing area, there is the potential for items, Supply Boxes, and Contracts to populate these otherwise abandoned subway stations.

Metro System – Stations & Locations:

The new Verdansk Metro Service is fully operational in Season 6 of Warzone. There are the following stops:

  • Verdansk International Airport
  • Lozoff Pass
  • Verdansk Center
  • Downtown/Tavorsk District
  • Barakett Shopping District
  • Verdansk Train Station
  • Torsk Bloc

Per the Call of Duty Blog, the subway system will not move if there is any fighting happening on the train itself or on the railways. The blog also states that the subway will not go to station where the circle collapse in taking place already.

Specifically, a subway train will not move to a station that is under the effects of the circle collapse. This avoids a situation of a squad hopping aboard a subway that leads to an untimely death… unless, of course, it’s at the hands of another squad waiting at the next station.

Speaking of fighting, there is no room for roughhousing onboard the Metro. In fact, the subway will not move at all if there is any conflict on board, or between the train and the platform, so keep fighting to the platform, stairwells, and outside the station.

Stay tuned for more information to come as Sept. 29 approaches.

Warzone devs respond to bug that isn’t counting wins

Raven Software have responded to a frustrating bug that has ignored Warzone Victories, resulting in stats not being updated.

A worrying bug has prevented recent Warzone wins from counting to players’ official stats. Thanks to prompting from YouTuber JGOD, Raven Software has addressed the matter.

Warzone Season 3 is drawing ever nearer. There’s much excitement within the Call of Duty community as Verdansk, and Warzone in general, could be heading for a big shake-up. With reports of nuclear devastation changing the map, players could have new avenues to explore and enjoy.

However, that enjoyment will feel hollow if the game’s current stat-tracking bug continues to affect Warzone. We reported a few days ago that wins and stats were not tracking, and if it continues, then it makes the idea of winning games of Warzone redundant.

Popular CoD personality JGOD has questioned Raven Software on the matter, and they have provided an update on the problem.

Another catastrophic Warzone bug was allowing players to become invincible by entering a God Mode state, forcing Raven Software to remove Most Wanted contracts to counteract this.

JGOD saw that this had been amended and decided to follow this up.

The Official Raven Software account replied by saying, “We’re currently looking into this issue. We’ll provide an update whenever possible.”

On one hand, it’s good that the problem is being investigated, but it’s also no consolation to the thousands of players that are grinding away to claim Warzone Victories.

A positive resolution will hopefully ensure that those players will have their win tallies adjusted accordingly to show that their efforts were not in vain.

With Warzone Season 3 just around the corner, it’s vital that Raven Software prioritize this issue. With problematic Sykov Pistols causing many players to be frustrated, especially with the new exploit, this would be one less issue to deal with.

Crazy Warzone exploit gives Akimbo Sykov Pistols zero recoil & 100% accuracy

Although Warzone’s Sykov will be nerfed soon, a new glitch is giving the Akimbo full-auto Pistols complete accuracy and no recoil.

Warzone dual Sykovs

A crazy new Warzone exploit is reportedly turning the already meta-defining Sykov Pistol into a 100% accurate monster with zero recoil.

Since its release in Modern Warfare and Warzone, the Sykov Pistol dominated all close-range fights. With a blisteringly high fire rate, 80 Round Mags, and the option to wield it akimbo, the dual Sykov’s became an overnight meta.

After players were frustrated with another meta-breaking gun arriving in the game, replying to a thread of Warzone issues from streamer CouRage, Raven Software promised “a significant balance pass” to the Sykov, as well as the AUG, M16, and FFAR 1.

However, a new exploit is turning these powerful pistols into 100% accurate laser beams with no recoil.

Warzone streamer Stukawaki demonstrated this new exploit in Plunder. After parachuting down, standing just outside of the optimum range for the akimbo Sykov’s, Stu unloads a barrage of bullets that land directly on the crosshair with 100% accuracy and seemingly no recoil.

From the clip, it appears that Stu is only using one Sykov (the ammo is only displayed for one Pistol), and the game has been glitched to show two. Whatever happened, it’s clear that this Sykov exploit makes the weapons 100% accurate.

Until the new sidearm has been adjusted, the only drawback to the Sykov’s unbelievable damage at point-blank range is its recoil. These two pistols firing off 160 rounds at full-auto will rise considerably after prolonged firing, and the weapons will become ineffective outside of the hip-fire accuracy range.

This exploit takes away the only thing holding the Sykov back, so although reports say that this exploit is easier to replicate in Plunder, it’s possible you will see it making its way into your games of battle royale.

Although several changes slated for Season 3, including adjustments to the Roze skin and the leaked Verdansk 1980s overhaul following the nuke event, Raven Software are yet to acknowledge this new exploit.
