Most popular guns in CoD Warzone Pacific

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific features over 150 weapons, and the most popular have been revealed, so we’re counting down Season 3’s top ten guns as of May 9, 2022.

As is standard for Warzone, the meta is constantly changing. The Warzone Pacific update brought in over 40 new weapons from Call of Duty: Vanguard and Season 3 included a ton of weapon buffs and nerfs, completely changing the Sniper Rifle meta.

With this major meta change, thanks to WZRanked.com, we can see Warzone Pacific Season 3’s most popular weapons. So, we’re counting down the top ten guns that players are using in Season 3.

10. Automaton – 2.51%

The Automaton has been called the easiest weapon to use in Warzone thanks to its extremely low recoil and forgivingly high fire rate.

This Vanguard Assault Rifle isn’t the powerhouse it once was, but if you’re looking for a low recoil weapon to bring into the battle royale, then the Automaton might just be the weapon for you. It also has one of the highest K/D ratios in this list, with 1.19.

9. Cold War AK-47 – 2.76%

Cold War’s AK-47 has remained one of the best Assault Rifles in Warzone, so it’s well-deserving of a top-ten spot. Although its recoil can make it a tad unwieldy, it still hits like a truck after the May 4 update.

The AK-47 is a stand-out choice as either a close-range beamer or as a medium-range Sniper Support, which makes it the perfect choice for both Caldera and Rebirth Island. Although it doesn’t have the same power it did, once you’ve got used to the weapon’s kick, there are few better choices.

8. Modern Warfare Kar98k – 2.81%

Warzone Season 3 is perhaps the first time the Kar98k hasn’t been in the top five most popular for over a year thanks to the major Sniper Rifle changes.

The Kar98k has essentially been abandoned in Season 3 after losing its ability to one-shot headshot at any range. It’s still an effective choice if you’re looking to quickscope on Rebirth Island, but we’ll just need to wait and see if it manages to remain in the top 10 throughout the rest of Season 3.

7. Welgun – 3.33%

Although the Welgun doesn’t get as much love as some of the other SMGs in Warzone Season 3, it’s still an extremely solid choice after receiving buffs in the May 4 update.

What makes the Welgun such a popular pick is its extremely low recoil and fast time to kill. It’s become one of the go-to close-range weapons for many of the top streamers again, and we imagine it’ll hold onto its top 10 spot as Season 3 rages on.

6. HDR – 4.05%

Thanks to the major Sniper Rifles nerfs in Season 3, the Kar98k and Swiss K31 are no longer the most popular and the HDR has taken their spot.

Always a powerful choice at long-range, the HDR has kept its ability to one-shot headshot at any range, and combine that with its incredibly fast bullet velocity, you have one of the best Sniper Rifles in the game.

The HDR’s only competition is Cold War’s ZRG 20mm, so you may see the HDR lose its top spot as the weeks go on.

5. XM4 – 5.02%

Although the XM4 is considered the best Assault Rifle in Warzone Pacific Season 3, it’s only the fifth most popular.

Black Ops Cold War’s XM4 was an extremely popular choice ahead of Vanguard’s integration, but it stayed in the meta throughout Season 2 and Season 3 as well. Now, with the Bren finally nerfed and the XM4 actually receiving a buff, there’s very little reason not to take this Assault Rifle to Caldera and Rebirth Island.

4. Owen Gun – 5.12%

The Owen Gun was slept on in Warzone for a long time, but it firmly cemented itself in the meta in Season 2, and it’s continued into Season 3.

With incredibly low recoil and a high damage per mag, the Owen Gun is arguably the best SMG in Warzone Season 3.  With health being raised to 150 in Caldera, the Owen Gun’s accuracy and damage make it a standout choice, no matter which mode you’re playing.

3. Cooper Carbine – 5.76%

Plenty of low-recoil builds have made their way onto this list, but the Cooper Carbine beats them out in terms of accuracy.

The Cooper Carbine arrived at the start of Warzone Pacific Season 1 and quickly became many players’ go-to. Again, it’s not the most powerful weapon in the game but its almost non-existent recoil and decent damage have kept it in the top 10 most popular, even after all of the changes in Season 3.

2. MP40 – 7.63%

If you’re looking for a Vanguard SMG to use on Rebirth Island or Caldera, the MP40 has remained an excellent choice.

Although it might not be the best on paper, the MP40 has climbed back to the top SMG spot. Its minimal recoil and solid damage make it a standout choice for close-range fights, so you won’t ever feel at a disadvantage while using it.

It’s no wonder that the MP40 has consistently remained one of the most popular weapons in the game, as it complements any possible loadout.

1. STG44 – 11.75 %

The STG44 acts similarly to Modern Warfare’s M4A1, being an excellent all-rounder for Caldera.

Following its major buffs in Season 3, the STG is even more powerful. With a solid TTK, fast bullet velocity, and minimum recoil, it’s an effective choice for players of all skill levels.

Its popularity remained consistently in the top 10 throughout Season 2 and Season 2 Reloaded, and it’s shot to first place in Season 3.

If you’re yet to use any of these weapons in Warzone Pacific Season 3, they’re well worth bringing to Caldera for the Operation Monarch Godzilla vs Kong event.

Warzone Underground Transit System explained: All mine cart locations

The Underground Transit System has made its way to Warzone Season 3 Reloaded, and here’s where you can find all 14 mine cart locations.

Published

on

Here’s where to find all of the mine cart locations attached to the Underground Transit System following the Warzone Season 3 Reloaded update.

Warzone players will discover a new way to travel across Caldera in Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded. The midseason update will grant players access to the underground mine carts beneath Caldera’s surface.

With access to the mine carts following the Classified Arms Reloaded update, players will be able to travel from one POI to another incredibly quickly. This new method of instant transportation is called the Underground Transit System, and here is where you can find all of the mine carts.

Warzone Underground Transit System explained

In a Season 3 teaser, players got their first glimpse at the underground mine cart system beneath Caldera. Following the Season 3 Reloaded update, this system will finally come into play. This new tool is an instant way to get around the map for quick rotations or outmaneuvering your opponents.

Once you access one of the 14 Underground Transit locations, you must simply enter a hatch and interact with the mine cart to travel to your new destination. Once you are close to the cart, “the destination name will appear on your screen – After a few seconds of travel time, you’ll instantly appear at your destination.”

Interestingly enough, players can use the light and audio clues to discern if there’s an ambush waiting for them at their next destination. A green light indicates that the coast is clear, while any other colored light hints at danger. Evidently, if the indicator is off with no information to deliver, you cannot travel to that destination.

All Warzone Underground Transit System mine cart locations

As you can see from the image above, there are a total of 14 access points across the map. If you’re wondering what access points look like, you’ve likely seen one before. It turns out the Nebula 5 bunkers you’ve seen around the map for months now are the key to accessing seven of the points on the map.

Meanwhile, “the other seven access points are small hatches into the mine-cart hub area. Here, you can find a map of the system, with each hub location corresponding to a letter and number on your Tac Map.”

The Underground Transit System‘s access points will be viewable through your in-game map. They will be indicated on the Tac Map and minimap by a silver “vault door” symbol. Here are all of the mine cart locations across Caldera:

  • Arsenal
  • Docks
  • Runway
  • Ruins
  • Mines
  • Peak
  • Beachhead
  • Lagoon
  • Airfield
  • Fields
  • Sub Pen
  • Power Plant
  • Capital
  • Resort

Almost every major POI across Caldera will have a mine cart access point. However, it is important to note that not all locations offer several destinations. Of the 14 access points, only Docks, Peak, Fields, Mines, Sub Pen, and Airfield offer multiple options when it comes to the destination.

Warzone Champion of Caldera LTM explained

Champion of Caldera is a brand-new LTM being introduced in Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded. Here’s how it works.

Published

on

Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded is bringing a brand-new LTM for players to enjoy called Champion of Caldera. Here’s everything you need to know about the mode.

Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded is set to make a big impact when the update arrives. As well as a brand-new SMG, players will also be getting an Underground Transit System on Caldera, and a new LTM.

This new LTM is called Champion of Caldera, and for players who love to play aggressively and stay on the move, this may be the perfect mode for you.

What is Warzone’s Champion of Caldera?

Champion of Caldera is a brand-new Warzone Pacific limited-time mode being introduced with the Season 3 Reloaded update.

The game mode will go live on May 25 when the update is released and will be available for all players as a great alternative to Resurgence Solos and Caldera Clash when it comes to leveling weapons and high-intensity matches.

Champion of Caldera ruleset

Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded’s new LTM is a Solos mode that features 150 players on Caldera with a “Battle Royale-style fight for survival.” While the means of securing a victory are the same as a standard Battle Royale match, there are some huge twists that will make for some great gameplay opportunities.

For starters, there’s one zone and it’s constantly closing. This makes for some fast-paced gameplay, especially when it gets to the end of the game.

Players also drop into the map with their Custom Loadout, a Gas Mask, and a single Redeploy Extraction Token. This speeds the match up even more, as players don’t need to spend time looting and getting geared up to fight.

The loot pool is also different for this game mode, as players will find equipment that isn’t usually found in Loadouts and also more high rarity weapons. The Buy Station is also upgraded, giving players the chance to purchase powerful Killstreaks like the Advanced UAV, and even the Specialist Bonus for a hefty price.

There you have it, that’s everything you need to know about the new Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded LTM Champion of Caldera. For more, check out the three best Shotguns in Warzone Pacific Season 3.

How to unlock H4 Blixen SMG in Vanguard & Warzone Season 3 Reloaded

Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded brings the new H4 Blixen SMG, so here’s how you’ll be able to unlock it when it arrives.

Published

on

The H4 Blixen SMG is one of the brand-new weapons arriving during Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded, so here’s when it’s set to arrive and how you’ll be able to unlock it.

Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Season 3 Reloaded is almost here, bringing a new map, Operator, and of course, a new weapon. The M1916 Marksman Rifle and the Nikita AVT Assault Rifle arrived as part of the Battle Pass, but a new SMG is set to arrive with the midseason update.

‘Classified Arms’ is Season 3’s theme, and the devs really kept info concerning the H4 Blixen SMG classified. However, we do know when it will arrive, so here’s how you’ll be able to unlock it in both Warzone and Vanguard Season 3 Reloaded.

How to unlock H4 Blixen in Warzone & Vanguard

You will be able to unlock the H4 Blixen by getting three slide kills in a single match 15 times. This SMG-based challenge is great for players who love to get around the map with the slide movement mechanic.

Later in Season 3, players could also purchase a Store Bundle that features a Blixen Weapon Blueprint. The H4 Blixen won’t be available until Vanguard and Warzone Season 3 Reloaded content goes live on May 25.

Each Vanguard season has brought a new SMG in the Reloaded update, such as the Welgun in Season 1 and the Armaguerra in Season 2 Reloaded. These two weapons quickly became powerhouses, so we expect the H4 Blixen to be the same.

In a May 23 blog post, the devs claimed that the H4 Blixen can rival the dominant Owen Gun, “the H4 Blixen delivers a reliable three-shot kill at a farther range than the Owen Gun, albeit with a slower rate of fire. It also has three more bullets per standard magazine and slightly better Vertical Recoil Control, Aim Down Sight (ADS) speed, and reload quickness.”
