Call of Duty: Warzone features almost 200 weapons as the content wraps up ahead of Warzone 2, and the most popular have been revealed. We’re counting down Season 5 Reloaded’s top ten most popular guns as of October 3, 2022.

As is standard for Warzone, the meta is constantly changing. The Warzone Pacific update brought in over 40 new weapons from Call of Duty: Vanguard, and more keep coming. The Season 5 update brought the new RA 225 SMG and EX1 Assault Rifle, with Season 5 Reloaded bringing the BP50 and even more game-changing buffs and nerfs.

With this major meta change, thanks to WZRanked.com, we can see Warzone Pacific Season 5 Reloaded’s most popular weapons. So, we’re counting down the top ten guns that players are using as Warzone players gear themselves toward Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2’s launch.

10. Kilo 141 – 2.91%

The Kilo 141 hasn’t been popular since Verdansk, but it made its way back into the top 10 most popular following the Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded update and held its place.

Although extremely accurate, the Kilo 141 has always been let down by its significant damage drop-off. This drop-off was removed with Season 4 Reloaded, but then the devs nerfed its damage again with the August 3 update.

Despite an incredibly low K/D and win rate, the Kilo 141 is still one of the most popular guns in Warzone.

9. STG44 – 3.22%

The STG44 has remained a consistently popular choice since its arrival, and even though it doesn’t have a particular stat that puts it above the rest, it’s the perfect weapon for any playstyle or skill level.

With a solid TTK, fast bullet velocity, and minimum recoil, it’s on the cusp of being top-tier and even the smallest of buffs would catapult this classic WW2 rifle to being the undisputed best choice.

8. M4A1 – 3.41%

Another Modern Warfare gun that got some love in recent updates, a slight buff to the M4A1 has incentivized players to give it another go.

With it being a fantastic all-rounder with that beloved Modern Warfare feel, Warzone players don’t need much convincing to pick up the M4A1 again. A slight buff to its neck damage appears to have been that reason, and it’s also been recommended by meta expert WhosImmortal.

7. 3-Line Rifle – 3.77%

3-Line Rifle in Warzone Pacific

For the first time in a long time, a Sniper Rifle has hit the top 10 most popular weapons in Warzone.

Despite not being touched in the Season 5 Reloaded update, the other buffs and nerfs have allowed the 3-Line Rifle to hit the top 10. With an incredibly high bullet velocity and the ability to headshot at any range, the Gorenko’s nerfs mean that the 3-Line is now the best choice for sniping on Caldera.

6. PPSh-41 (VG) – 4.21%

The best Vanguard SMGs took another hefty hit with the Season 5 Reloaded update, with the PPSh-41 receiving a much stronger nerf this time around.

While the PPSh-41 isn’t the top-tier hip-fire weapon it once was, you’ll find that it’s still one of the best choices thanks to its reliable TTK and fast strafe-speed. Although its popularity took a hit after Season 5 Reloaded, expect it to remain a popular choice as Warzone 2 approaches.

5. UGM-8 – 4.47%

Despite not being what it once was, the UGM-8 is still within the top five most popular weapons in Warzone Season 5 Reloaded but continues to drop.

The UGM-8 received a major nerf in Season 5 Reloaded, and it appears this might’ve dropped it from the meta once and for all. With its damage, recoil, and bullet velocity heavily nerfed, the UGM-8’s popularity has been steadily dropping ever since the September 28 update.

4. Grau 5.56 – 4.53%

Grau 5.56 Warzone Assault Rifle

Much to the delight of Warzone players, the Grau 5.56 re-entered the meta with the Season 5 update. For months players had been calling for Modern Warfare weapons to receive buffs, and the devs answered those calls with major Grau buffs.

Due to its previous popularity, it didn’t take long for the Assault Rifle to find its way to this list. Thanks to its familiarity and steady aim during long-distance engagements, the Grau has remained a top-five choice all the way into Season 5 Reloaded.

3. Cooper Carbine – 6.52%

Plenty of low-recoil builds have made their way onto this list, and the Cooper Carbine’s fire rate and mobility have made it a popular choice for Fortune’s Keep and Rebirth Island.

Again, it’s not the most powerful weapon in the game but its almost non-existent recoil and decent damage have seen it claim and hold onto an impressive spot within the top three most popular weapons in Warzone.

2. MP40 – 6.55

It’s interesting to see that the classic MP40 has risen all the way up to being the second most popular weapon as it’s rarely regarded as one of Warzone’s best.

That’s not to say the MP40 isn’t worth using, as it’s a great jack-of-all-trades SMG, boasting a decent TTK, high mobility, and very low recoil. With all of the nerfs to the meta choices, the MP40 might have just cemented itself as a top choice in Season 5 Reloaded.

Warzone Armaguerra 43

Even though Warzone’s Armaguerra 43 received more nerfs in the Season 5 Reloaded update alongside most of the best SMGs, it’s still a fantastic choice. This is especially true for players who like to get up close and use strafing to their advantage.

The Armaguerra has great mobility and damage but really excels in its ability to strafe while fighting. You’ll be a hard target using the Armaguerra in Season 5 Reloaded and combined with how easy it is to use, it’s no wonder that it’s got the top spot.

If you’re yet to use any of these weapons in Warzone Pacific Season 5 Reloaded, they’re excellent choices no matter which map you prefer.
