Warzone’s Armaguerra 43 nerfed in March 24 update: Full patch notes

Warzone Armaguerra SMG

Warzone’s Armaguerra 43 SMG arrived with the Season 2 Reloaded update, and devs Raven Software were quick to nerf its overpowered magazine, alongside other changes, in the March 24 update.

Warzone Pacific Season 2 Reloaded’s Armaguerra SMG has already proved to be a powerful choice in both Caldera and Rebirth Island Reinforced. However, a certain magazine attachment was accidentally making it too powerful, and less than 24 hours after it arrived, the devs were quick to nerf the offending magazine.

The Armaguerra fix wasn’t the only change made, so here’s everything included in Warzone Pacific’s March 24 update.

Warzone Armaguerra Russian Short Mag nerfed

Warzone’s Armaguerra SMG boasts one of the fastest fire rates of any SMG, and that means it can achieve an incredibly low TTK. However, the Russian Short Mag had an “unintended global damage bonus,” which the devs have now removed.

In a tweet on March 24, Raven Software explained that “The .30 round mags incorrectly went live with both an increase in damage globally and a decrease in locational damage for the head, neck, and upper torso. Only the decrease is intentional and as such, this update removes the flat 10% damage increase provided by the mag.”

“The power of this attachment primarily comes from the increased fire rate it provides the already lightning-fast Armaguerra,” they continued, confirming that they’ll be “monitoring its performance” alongside other smaller magazines.

Even with this nerf, the Armaguerra 43 should continue to be a powerful choice in both Caldera and Rebirth Island Reinforced.
