Warzone’s demon gun glitch is making a return in Season 3, and players will have to contend with one of the worst iterations of the glitch we’ve seen to date.

Longtime Warzone players will be familiar with Warzone’s demon gun glitch as it never fails to pop up from time to time. The glitch occurs randomly and affects players’ visibility by blocking their screens with monstrous textures.

While the demon gun glitch has been dormant for a while, it has now reemerged with a vengeance in Warzone Season 3. Players will be hoping to avoid this iteration of the demon gun glitch as a strange twist makes it different than the traditional version.

The demon gun glitch has always been one of the most game-breaking glitches that players can encounter. When it occurs, players are helpless and cannot get rid of the visual glitch, and you’re basically stuck with it until you die.

Having the majority of your screen obscured by massive blocks of broken textures means that your match is likely over before it even begins. We’ve seen moments where players blind fire and luckily come out with a kill, but the majority of gamers suffer helpless Warzone deaths.

This time, a video posted to the Warzone subreddit by OowlwoO proves that the demon gun glitch is back and breaking the game in Season 3.

The player is simply attempting to grab a custom loadout, but it all goes wrong as a different version of the demon gun glitch appears. This time the visual glitch doesn’t appear on the player’s weapon.

It seems like the visual glitch is surrounding an enemy player in a “blob” of broken textures. To make matters worse, when the player in the clip is downed, their game crashes and they are booted back to the Warzone menu. If the glitch is kicking players from games, this is quite the troublesome version that players will have to deal with.

Players in the comments explained that this iteration seems to be a version of the demon gun glitch that affects the player model instead of weapons, “He didn’t render correctly, this used to be fairly common its similar to the gun render issue, our squad used to get this same thing, you just gotta shoot the middle of it and hope it dies.”
