Warzone’s Gas Mask animation has been heavily criticized by players, and Raven Software have implemented a fix for this problem in the Season 3 update.

Being outside the safe zone during a game of Warzone puts you in danger of getting killed by the poison gas that’s slowly closing in on the map, and this can be avoided by simply equipping a Gas Mask.

While this item can be extremely useful, the animation for putting it on has been criticized for preventing falling players from pulling their parachutes. Now, the Warzone Pacific Season 3 update has fixed this issue.

Warzone players running away from the circle often have to jump off buildings or steep cliffs on their way to the safe zone. However, they would end up falling to their deaths as the Gas Mask animation prevented them from pulling their parachutes.

However, this is no longer a problem following the Season 3 update, as the developers have confirmed that the Gas Masks “will no longer interrupt a falling player.” So, you can now pull your parachute without being interrupted by the animation.

Additionally, the Warzone Pacific Season 3 update patch has also brought a fix for the frustrating issue that triggers Gas Mask animation when players get hit by Nebula V Rounds during battles.

This isn’t the first time that the Gas Mask has received a major fix, as Raven Software also tweaked the animation back in February to stop it from triggering when you’re aiming down sights.

Warzone Pacific’s Season 3 update is proving to be extremely exciting, as the developers have used it to fix some of the game’s most glaring problems, including the visibility issues on the Caldera map.
