Warzone’s H4 Blixen buffed in August 3 update despite devs claiming it was nerfed

Vanguard’s SMGs have been dominating Warzone’s meta since their introduction, with Season 3’s H4 Blixen top of the pack. The SMG was supposedly nerfed in the August 3 update, but the data proves it was actually buffed.

Warzone Season 4 Reloaded brought a huge change to the meta, nerfing the ever-popular NZ-41 and bringing Modern Warfare weapons back into the fold. They didn’t let the meta settle though, bringing even more changes with the August 3 update.

This brought major changes to Warzone’s meta weapons, nerfing the Kilo 141, KG M40, and, apparently, the H4 Blixen. However, the website Sym.gg that datamines all of the weapon stats, discovered that the Blixen was actually buffed.

According to the August 3 patch notes, Warzone’s H4 Blixen had its movement speed decreased, with the Bergstrom 17″ F3 barrel and 7.62 Gorenko 54 Round Mag being hit.

However, Sym.gg has reported that its movement speed has actually been buffed. The magazine’s movement speed was actually buffed by 2% rather than nerfed, and the barrel “never had any movement increases to nerf.”

This means that the movement speed decrease was removed rather than the increase, resulting in faster movement speed.

This faster movement speed was spotted by top Warzone content creators TeeP and JGOD, which prompted a response from Raven Software. They confirmed that the magazine was actually buffed, saying that “the intended change will be implemented in an upcoming update.”

They haven’t acknowledged the Bergstrom barrel yet though, so we’ll need to wait and see whether this gets changed in the same future update.

With it being confirmed that the H4 Blixen will be nerfed later, enjoy the increased movement speed while you still can.
