Even though Warzone is receiving a steady stream of Vanguard content, players were treated to another Black Ops Cold War gun — the Vargo 52. It’s already proving itself to be a meta weapon, boasting the highest K/D in Warzone Pacific Season 2.

There are many things to consider when choosing which weapon to run in Call of Duty: Warzone. Its accuracy, range, time-to-kill, and damage-per-mag are all extremely important factors. But thanks to the website WZRanked, we can actually see which weapons players have the most success with.

After sorting the weapons by their kill to death ratio, you can see that it’s actually Black Ops Cold War’s new Vargo 52 that has the highest K/D in Warzone Pacific Season 2.

Vargo 52 in Warzone

According to WZRanked’s data, the Vargo 52 has scored an average K/D of 1.42, which makes it the highest K/D weapon in the game.

Looking at the other high K/D weapons, it’s no surprise that the Vargo has taken the top spot. The Welgun SMG comes in second place with a more-than-respectable 1.37 K/D, but then two more Cold War Assault Rifles, the EM2 (1.31) and C58 (1.29), come right after.

The Vargo is much easier to control than these two weapons, so it makes perfect sense that players are finding great success with the Vargo. It has a respectable time-to-kill and minimal recoil, so players who were fans of the XM4 and FARA 83 will feel right at home.

Highest K/D Warzone weapons list

Since the Vargo 52 is still new, and you need to complete a specific challenge to unlock it, it only has a 1.07% pick ratio, which puts it as the 29th most popular weapon.

However, it has been climbing through the ranks, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see it make its way into the top ten over the next couple of weeks.
