Being Idle on Discord is one of the major features the application has for its users to share their status with one another. Apart from that, the application allows several content creators and streamers to interact with their fan base and community in a more personal way.
Gamers are always on the lookout for apps and platforms that enhance their gaming experience and how they connect with their teammates and friends. Discord has been used in the gaming community as a mainstream application where gamers with a similar mindset connect with one another under one server.
Discord has a vast interface that allows users to stream music, use bots to perform operations, video or voice chat as well as stream a game for their server members or even friends.
Sometimes users need to hide their online status or indicate to their friends that they are not looking at their screens. Here’s how you can set your status to Idle to indicate that.
What does Idle mean on Discord?
Idle in Discord means that the user has not logged out of Discord, but has not looked at or interacted with Discord for a few minutes. If you’re familiar with the term “AFK” (Away From Keyboard), Discord’s idle status is essentially the same thing.
When you set your status to idle, your friends or server members automatically get familiar with your status upon looking at the yellow icon right next to your name which is a fair indication of “being idle” on the application. Here’s how you can set your status to idle on the app on Mobile or PC.
How to set your status to Idle on Discord desktop?
Upon starting the Discord app on your PC, you’ll be able to see your username at the bottom left. If your status is set to Active, like the image above, a green dot will appear next to your profile picture.
To set your status to Idle, click your profile picture icon. Upon doing so, a box will appear above your Discord name and tag which will consist of 4 default status options, with an additional option to set your custom status.
Choose the Idle option and click on it to indicate to other users that you are away from Discord for a moment but are open to receiving messages and notifications. However, this will not stop the desktop notifications you will receive on your PC.
Once set to Idle, a yellow crescent moon icon will appear next to your name which will indicate that you are away from Discord and are “Idle”. This status will be visible to your friends and users who you share a common server with.
How to set your status to Idle on Discord Mobile?
Similar to its PC counterpart, Discord on mobile devices has a simpler method of setting your status to idle. Instead on the bottom left, you will be able to see your profile picture on the bottom right on your mobile app once you’re inside.
To set your status to idle, click your profile picture and it will take you to a new screen that will have all the settings related to your profile and the application itself. Click on the Set Status option and choose Idle from the list of statuses that appear.
And you’re done. Now you know how you can easily set your status to idle on Discord.
Idle status has been beneficial to those who log in to Discord on a regular basis but when are away from your PC or the app, do not want to miss out on any details or messages being relayed to you. As this feature is not used by many, still it is a good way to know your friends that you are AFK so you won’t miss out much.

Best Assault Rifles in Warzone: Every Season 4 Reloaded AR ranked
Assault Rifles are great all-rounders in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded, so here are Warzone’s ARs ranked and the best ones to use.
Assault Rifles continue to dominate Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded, so we’ve placed every Assault Rifle into a ranked list and counted down the top ARs you can run in Caldera, Rebirth Island, and Fortune’s Keep.
Assault Rifles are a staple in Call of Duty. Capable of dealing severe damage at almost any range, they’re the go-to for most players. They’re especially prominent in Warzone for their versatility, and through the Gunsmith system, you can build them any way you like.
Here’s a ranked list of every AR as well as a summary of the best Assault Rifles in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded.
Best Warzone Assault Rifles ranked list
This is our comprehensive list of every AR in Call of Duty: Warzone, and we’ve ranked them in ascending order to let you know which ones are worth using.
While there used to be an even distribution of Vanguard, Modern Warfare, and Cold War guns, you’ll find that Vanguard weapons make up the majority of the meta picks. However, some solid MW and Cold War guns make up the top 10 if you want to use them instead.
Here is every Warzone Assault Rifle in Pacific Season 4 Reloaded, ranked:
- KG M40
- Cooper Carbine
- Vargo 52
- Nikita AVT
- Cold War AK-47
- FARA 83
- Grau 5.56
- Kilo 141
- Krig 6
- CR-56 AMAX
- Itra Burst
- FFAR 1
- AS VAL
- FR 5.56
- Modern Warfare AK-47
Best Warzone Assault Rifles
It took several nerfs in a row to finally knock Vanguard’s NZ-41 Assault Rifle down the ranks. It absolutely dominated Warzone for a prolonged period, but following the Season 4 Reloaded update, it’s finally in a balanced state.
It remains a powerful weapon that most players shouldn’t have too much trouble controlling at long range. It’s an excellent weapon for Caldera’s wide-open areas where you can punish players from a distance.
4. Vargo 52
Cold War’s Vargo 52 claims the fourth spot and it’s been a pillar of consistency since joining Warzone Pacific. The weapon has never been considered overpowered, but it has an excellent TTK that makes it a devastating Sniper support Assault Rifle.
As you may have guessed, Vanguard ARs have the Vargo 52 beat when it comes to long-range gunfights thanks to their magnified optics. However, very few Assault Rifles can compete with the Vargo when it comes to a medium-range gunfight.
3. Cooper Carbine
The Cooper Carbine has always been a top choice thanks to its high fire rate and low recoil, and it’s remained a great selection for medium-range fights.
The Cooper’s bullet velocity isn’t the greatest, so you won’t be beaming players across Caldera, but take it into Fortune’s Keep or Rebirth Island and you’ll have a fantastic Assault Rifle in your hands. Thanks to a broken attachment discovered in Season 4 Reloaded, the Cooper Carbine is now considered one of the best ARs around.
This may come as a shock to some, but Vanguard’s Volk Assault Rifle is one of the best weapons in Warzone. Its relatively low pick rate of 0.62 reveals that the majority of players continue to ignore the weapon.
However, if you’re looking for a medium-range Assault Rifle for Rebirth Island or Fortune’s Keep, there are no better options than the Volk.
This is the third Assault Rifle on the list that isn’t meant to be used for incredibly long-range gunfights. Instead, an LMG like the UGM-8, or the following weapon on our list is probably your best bet for a long-range weapon in Season 4 Reloaded.
1. KG M40 – Best Assault Rifle in Warzone
Warzone players love a low-recoil Assault Rifle and the KG M40 has barely any to deal with. While it doesn’t have the most incredible stats, the KG M40 is so easy to use that you’ll have no trouble landing shots.
The KG M40 has high bullet velocity and it deals a ton of headshot damage, but it’s held back by its low TTK when hitting body shots. As expected, with the NZ-41 receiving a significant nerf, this Assault Rifle claimed the top spot and it’s currently the most popular weapon in Warzone.
Bring any of these ARs into Caldera in Warzone Pacific Season 4 Reloaded and you’ll find yourself using some of the best Warzone Assault Rifles in Call of Duty’s battle royale.

MultiVersus Season 1 update: Release date, Morty, Battle Pass price
MultiVersus Season 1 will bring a ton of new content to the game including Battle Pass rewards and a new Morty character.
MultiVersus has been a massive success since launching its open beta, and fighting game fans now have Season 1 content to look forward to. Here’s everything coming to MultiVersus Season 1 including a new Morty character.
MultiVersus players have been enjoying the game’s open beta, but the platform fighter will soon officially enter its first season. The free-to-play game has been nothing short of a major hit with MultiVersus surpassing 11 million active players.
It’s safe to say that as more fighting game fans get their hands on MultiVersus, it is destined to continue its upward trajectory as Season 1 approaches. While MultiVersus already delivers a varied cast of characters from several notable franchises, more are on the way in Season 1.
Here’s everything you need to know about MultiVersus Season 1 including its release date, Battle Pass details, and new characters.
- MultiVersus Season 1 release date
- MultiVersus new characters & Morty release date
- MultiVersus Season 1 Battle Pass
MultiVersus Season 1 release date
Season 1 of MultiVersus will begin on August 15, 2022. Season 1 was previously set to launch on August 9, but the devs pushed back the date of the update to better prepare for the new content.
Technically Season 1 will be considered the full release of MultiVersus, since players have been enjoying the open beta for about a month.
It’s also important to note that the devs state Season 1 content will be rolled out periodically following the initial release on August 15. In other words not all Season 1 MultiVersus content will arrive on August 15: “new modes and content will be spread through the life of the Season.”
MultiVersus new characters & Morty release date
As the snapshot for Season 1 revealed, Rick and Morty will be making their way to MultiVersus in Season 1. While the image shows both Rick and Morty, the devs only provided information concerning Morty’s arrival.
Morty will officially join the roster of MultiVersus characters on August 23, just over a week after the initial Season 1 update. In addition, a MultiVersus Game Director confirmed that Morty will be characterized as an “expert” level fighter.
A ton of rumors have been swirling when it comes to possible new MultiVersus characters. Leaks have pointed toward the possible arrival of Eleven from Stranger Things, and given her powers in the Netflix series, she would make a great fit for the fighting game.
MultiVersus Season 1 Battle Pass
In addition to a Classic Arcade Mode and a proper Ranked Mode, MultiVersus Season 1 will also provide players with a new Battle Pass.
The Season 1 MultiVersus Battle Pass will have 50 tiers of rewards to unlock, giving players plenty of content to work toward. While this will deliver more rewards than the beta Battle Pass of 15 tiers, it will come at a greater cost.
MultiVersus uses an in-game currency called Gleamium to purchase content like the Season 1 Battle Pass. The Season 1 Battle Pass will cost 950 Gleamium, and players can purchase 1000 Gleamium for $9.99 / £7.99.
Players can also expect some notable balance changes to arrive with the Season 1 update, and we’ll be sure to detail those for you when it releases on August 15.

FIFA 23 players can’t play beta after crashing & connection errors: How to fix
While FIFA 23 players were excited to play the beta, crashing and connection errors are ruining the fun. Here’s how to fix the errors on PS5.
Several players are reporting that they cannot access the FIFA 23 beta due to crashing and connection errors. If you’re hoping to get a first look at the new game, here’s how to fix FIFA 23’s beta bugs.
FIFA 23’s close beta went live on August 11 and countless players rushed to their platforms to get a first look at EA Sports’ new iteration of the franchise. Unfortunately, a considerable amount of players were met with FIFA 23 beta bugs that prevented them from accessing the game.
This is far from an ideal situation as the beta is only available until September 1. It seems the luck of players who were fortunate enough to receive a code for the closed beta is beginning to change.
However, there’s no real reason to worry as we’ll provide a fix for the FIFA 23 beta errors to get you back into matches.
It turns out there are a few separate FIFA 23 beta errors that are ruining the fun at the moment. One of the errors leads to the game crashing after players attempt to open the FIFA 23 application. This one is particularly frustrating as players can’t even get to the main menu to access any of the modes on offer.
Meanwhile, other players can access the menu but cannot play any modes, including the Kick-Off mode that should be available to everyone. With the player unable to select a mode, the FIFA 23 beta becomes utterly useless.
How to fix FIFA 23 beta errors on PS5
To fix the connection and crashing errors for FIFA 23’s beta you have to delete friends on your PlayStation account until you have less than 100. The issues were primarily impacting players on PS5.
This should work for PS5 players, while others are reporting that completing training matches eventually unlocks other modes. It seems there are more than a few bugs that players have to deal with. For the time being the method above is your best bet until the devs address these issues.
EA have yet to comment, but with the FIFA 23 beta available until September 1, there’s no doubt that they will work on delivering a fix for players soon.
